We have a flat roof and turns out the scudders were not installed correctly by the builder, sadly our house is over 10 years old and cannot go back on the builder. So the scudders not being installed correctly has caused quite a bit of leaking into the ceiling (seems the seller we bought from just kept painting the ceiling so as buyers we couldn't see the damage until recently). We contacted Estrella Roofing and from their receptionist to their roofers (Juan and his team) are extremely polite and professional, provided the same information as our insurance adjustor did of the scudders and they quoted a fair price. They scheduled us pretty quick and were able to do the repairs in two days. It's not easy to find a roofer that works regularly with flat roofs and we highly recommend Estrella Roofing for your flat roof needs! Our repairs also came with a one year guarantee, though we haven't had a monsoon for a couple of years you never know what this summer may bring so get your roof looked at prior to the heavy rains. I really appreciated the daily visits by Bart or Juan to talk with me about the progress, and I appreciated that they emailed me in the evenings with pics online of that day's work. Juan came to my home to provide an estimate for repairs to our 2nd floor Walk Deck . He showed up on time and was professional and very knowledgeable. While he was there I also asked to perform an inspection of my tile roof. When he was done he gave an honest professional opinion on what needed to be done to repair my Walk Deck and correct the minor issues he noted on my roof. It was time to install a new underlayment and repair rotted fascia boards on my house. I reviewed many roofing contractors on yelp and found that Estrella had very strong recommendations. I called Estrella for a quote and they set me up with an appointment. Bart showed up promptly on that day and proceeded to detail what work would need to be accomplished. I selected Estrella to do the job and was told it would be a 4 week wait. Luckily, I only had to wait 8 days before work began on my roof. I cannot say enough good things about the crew that showed up. They were on time every day. They worked diligently for three days and their work and attention to detail is excellent. From start to finish, Juan and his crew were on top of their game. They kept me informed at every step. The crew cleaned up each day and ensured the home was waterproof each night. I had a complete roof redo with a flat roof included. They replace all damaged fascia, plywood decking, and found a color match for 415 tiles that had to be replaced. They also coordinated with my solar install, reinstall and left additional tiles should the solar guys damage any. These guys would be highly recommended by me. He informed me that spot could be taken care of, then I asked about a complete reroof. He gave me an estimate for both jobs.
