All the spreads with the breads were delicious, but the main course fish left a lot to be desired. The prawns were tough with no flavor and dry. I loved this restaurant! The place is spacious and beautifully decorated. The server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The drinks were tasty and interesting, mine had gin and masticha, served in a beautiful cup. The octopus appetizer was the best I've ever had and the saganiki had a touch of honey. I had a whole fish, Lavriki, in a butter lemon sauce, it was perfect. We didn't have dessert but they looked intriguing. I can't wait to go back here and try something else. read more

Another fantastic experience at Estia Naples. Went for the summer sizzle dining menu and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent as always, the food was amazing. Lamb Trahana was declicious. They should put that on their regular menu. My only complaint is that they illegally reserve their handicap parking spots for valet parking. They simply are not allowed to do that. read more

My husband and I dined here a few weeks ago and had a fantastic meal. We shared 2 appetizers and 1 entree. Our service was great as well. We stopped by a few weeks later for a happy hour drink. The drinks were not worth the happy hour discount. I had a lemondrop martini that tasted like all mixer with a sugar rim. The bartender seemed offended when I told her it didn't taste like any vodka was in. My husband had a rum and coke and also horrible. For a restaurant of this level I would up the prices a few dollars and offer better liquor. Blue martini down the street offers happy hour for less and better liquor options. read more

Here for the first time earlier today at 5:00pm. We all liked the look of the restaurant, The place was eventually packed. Lively crowd, everyone enjoying the food as we were with our dear friends, John & Jeanne. Before I get to the entrees, our server JOHN C. here at Table 21 was the Best! Dottie had the very generous portion and delicious Salad, Half Chicken and The creamy Yogurt for dessert. ($35) Jeanne had the same only with the Fish of the day. They both enjoyed their meals. I had the Estia Chips appetizer, the recommended Lamb Shank with Orzo which was phenomenal and the Napoleon for dessert. Their decaf coffee for us was delish. John had the delicious Spreads Pikilia and the Spanakopita Manti appetizers. (he was surprised about the Spanakopita) It looked great but it was slighty different than what he's used to. We all had enough of our portions and happily shared some of that with John. I see only a few other reviews here and can only hope they return. They're missing a lot. Beautiful restaurant, attentive service, fun Greek menu, excellent wine selection. I would strongly urge management to honor the Greek preparations and flip to locally sourced fish. They are offering whole fish with elegant preparations but halibut, tuna, Dover sole, and Chilean sea bass don't belong on a Florida based restaurant menu. Especially one that is honoring Mediterranean recipes. Enthusiasm for this gorgeous restaurant will increase even more with this small adjustment. We went for an early dinner for my birthday. They have the set menu for 35$ till 5.30 pm. We had a set of small plates with pita, octopus (7$ extra) , fish of the day with spinach rice as our entrees. Baklava and yogurt with honey for desert. Overall the food was good, but nothing to rave about. It is ok for 35$ but for the full price I am not sure. The interior is very airy and nice. The valley parking is a useful touch. read more

Atmosphere is great, location is very nice, but the service was very suspect. Whenever a top-tier restaurant serves entrées, such as fish by the pound be cautious. Our "friendly" (I say slick) waiter had mentioned a whole fish entrée could be shared since they were about 2lbs on that day. Long story short, we served a 4lb fish without warning. An unfortunate and uncomfortable situation since I could not question the unexpected, exorbitant bill as I was hosting. Not a very classy move for a classy restaurant. Buyer beware! Also, pretty slick move with electronic table side payment with only a total...no itemized breakdown hiding the 18% included gratuity that the slick waitstaff does not bring to your attention. Beautifully designed Greek restaurant within a subdued atmosphere with tables situated in orderly open fashion. Excellent selection of fresh fish cooked whole to perfection with Greek seasonings. Varieties of wine that pleased the palette and complimented the meal. Greek appetizers of many varieties were delicious. Lamb Shank with tomatoes based orzo was fantastic. 5 stars! We tried a variety of different foods they had to offer. All of them were better than the last. I would recommend their famous lamb chops. It has the perfect hint of lemon and mint. The staff were so nice. The kept checking in and gave us refills on drinks before we even had to ask. We sat outside and it was kind of cold but they had heaters and so you got the view while also feeling all nice and toasty in the best way. read more

What a fabulous edition to the North Naples area! With the modern, light airy design, and beautiful lighting this restaurant was worth the wait! Our server Anne from the NJ location was outstanding! The octopus appetizer was one of the best we have ever had. The assorted dips with pita along with the homemade bread and hummus were great and perfect to share. The selection of whole fish was impressive and the dover sole did not disappoint.! The lambchops were tender and cooked to perfection, and the baklava was tasty and also a great dessert to share! Had the pleasure of dining here last Saturday with my wife and friends. The venue is beautiful, airy and architecturally reminiscent of the nice restaurants we went to in Greece last year. The sound deadening curtains in the vaulted ceiling helped with reducing the noise level. We went for the $35 prix fixe dinner. I had the most tender and tasty grilled octopus ($7 extra) and my wife loved her beet salad. I had the very good grilled lamb chops ($12 extra) and my wife loved the saporra fish dish. We both loved the baklava. The service was gracious but a bit hectic. Definitely coming again and have recommended it to our friends. The place parades itself as "high end," but it's really just a scam wrapped in white tablecloths. Here's the kicker: these Malaka's slap on an 18% fee without so much as a whisper. No heads up, no transparency, nothing. Then they sit back and smile while you tip on top of it, basically mugging you with a smile and a wine list. That's not hospitality--it's theft in a suit. And don't even get me started on the food. I paid the price of a car payment for lamb. Dry, uninspired, and about as memorable as hospital cafeteria meat. If this is "fine dining," then Taco Bell deserves a Michelin star. Save your money, your dignity, and your appetite. Unless you like being fleeced while chewing on mediocrity, run far, far away from this rip-off factory. read more

Estia transports me right back to our visit to Greece, capturing the spirit of Mediterranean hospitality and the vibrant, fresh flavors we discovered there. The restaurant itself is elegant and warm, with stylish coastal décor that echoes the sun-drenched charm of the Greek islands. On my first visit, a few girlfriends and I dined on their lovely outdoor terrace. We ordered several small plates--or "Mezedes" as they're traditionally called--including the octopus, shrimp, and ceviche. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We also shared a traditional Horiatiki salad and one of their whole fish selections, which was perfectly grilled and finished tableside. I was thrilled to see they serve Assyrtiko, a crisp white wine I fell in love with while in Santorini; just one of many thoughtful touches that make the experience feel truly authentic. On my second visit, Jeff and I went together and found ourselves ordering many of the same favorites; the octopus and Horiatiki salad again, but this time we added the spanakopita. Let me just say: the spanakopita is incredible, honestly better than what I had in Greece. It's flaky, rich, and deeply flavorful. Trust me this is a must-order item. We shared a couple of main courses as well. Truly, it doesn't matter what you order at Estia; everything is exceptional. We were both so impressed, we've already reserved a table for our family's New Year's Eve dinner. Chicken was good, but nothing special. They do have wonderful bread with hummus. It's becoming the place to be seen for younger people. I would suggest a cocktail and appetizers and salads. A Deeply Disappointing Experience -- Twice Estia in Naples is a perfect example of a restaurant that hides behind appearances and fails at the fundamentals. I visited Estia two weeks ago and left dissatisfied, but against my better judgment, I decided to give it another try. That was a mistake -- and this time, unacceptable. During our first visit, my wife and I arrived to find the restaurant mostly empty. We politely asked for a nice table, yet were seated at one of the worst tables in a corner. When we requested to move, we were told the other tables were reserved -- a false claim, as many of those tables remained empty the entire time we were there. The hostess was cold, unwelcoming, and dismissive. The food was mediocre at best and priced far above its value. To top it off, we were charged an outrageous $40 corkage fee for our bottle of wine. Still, I gave it one more chance. That second visit only confirmed everything that was wrong with the first -- and made it worse. The same rude and indifferent hostess greeted us with the same icy attitude. Again, we were denied a decent table despite the restaurant being far from full. We ordered a shared calamari and two Greek salads. My wife had two glasses of wine. The bill came to $130 with tip. For that price, we received average food, dismal service, and the same cold shoulder. There won't be a third time. Estia has made it abundantly clear that it is not interested in welcoming customers -- only in overcharging them. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise others to spend their money elsewhere. read more

Disappointed. Decor is beautiful but service and meal were subpar. Our server must have been having a bad day. She was borderline rude, snippy and inattentive. Nobody was happy with their entree except for the lamb chops. I wanted to order those but she wouldn't let me substitute anything for the fries, which I can't eat. Her response was to say that there were no substitutions on the sizzle menu because the price was so cheap. Huh? How hard is it to put spinach on a plate instead of fries? And the customer is always right? Not here. And I bet there was about 3 oz of lamb on my entree. The chicken look like it had been boiled with the skin on and thrown on a plate. Our review of Estia is still 3 stars since other patrons' reviews show that our waitress was NOT THE ONLY rude and inefficient WAIT STAFF. Estia needs to TRAIN their staff better and lower the mandatory tip to 10% or 15%. With great service people usually add more $$$ up to 20% or even 25%, but not with poor service. read more
