I noticed one door blocked off and a large sign that warned "MOST of the isles are closed off for cleaning." MOST not ALL. Grabbing a small hand basket I could see the sunscreen right in front of me. About to grab it the woman employee said firmly that ALL of the isles are closed. Okay. They why are the doors open for customers. Then the male employee made a snarky comment that "Too bad I didn't make a huge sign for people to see. Yes it was very ignorant of me to think that if they were open for business that I would be allowed to buy something. Both employees were very rude. Without saying a single word I then sat the basket back down and left. That is when the two employees behind the counter began laughing loudly and calling me stupid. Here's the thing, I rarely shop at Walgreens since it's so rachet. I mean the parking spot permanently reserved for the police is a dead giveaway that the store is shitty. Now my rarely shopping at Walgreens is now a never shops at Walgreens. There are many other stores to choose from. As far a sunscreen goes a co-worker said they would share theirs with me. So not only having a dirty nasty rachet store the employees are the last thing to finally run me off for good.

Not really a place to browse, i.e. a shopping center…read more There are a number of businesses and Yelp has managed to arrange them in a "massage, hot dogs, Thai" order which I find amusing. But indeed there is a massage place, a hot dog joint and a Thai restaurant as well as a number of other businesses. A noodle eatery, a shrink and a place to get your nails and a place to get your hurr did fill up these five buildings. Not businesses one might meander between and window shop. Sophia's Thai Bar used to be one of the main stops in a Davis pub crawl. The restaurant "kitchen" is in the back and I'm pretty sure they'll bring it up front for you if you ask nicely. The Dumpling House has chosen to not advertise on the directory and you can pretty much see why. It is just behind the list of businesses. Maybe Sophia's will get back to the craze that was part of the Downtown Davis bar scene. Maybe it has already. Wouldn't know as I'm usually in bed by the time the youngsters dress up and go out...if they do these days. TL;DR just another group of businesses, no parking lot this time. Woo hoo!???

She apologized and noted the pharmacy was short staffed but would call and ask the pharmacy to pick up the line. Spoke with Jessica and she was very helpful and hopefully I will be able to pickup my prescriptions tomorrow I hope to update with another star but will depend on my interaction tomorrow. They seldom have common medications in stock and the wait time is 3-4 weeks to get a common medication in stock. Then the fun begins. you receive a text telling you that the medication is ready for pick up. When you arrive, the say that it is out of stock but promise a shipment in the next 2-3 days and that a second text will be received. This does not happen. They confuse drugs which could be devastating for trusting souls who assume that the pharmacy got it right. If you use the store, always get the name of the person at the window or on the phone. Average wait time for a call to go through is 45 minutes to 1.5 hours and then a disconnect. Go elsewhere.....

It was still stapled shut when I opened it tonight. The bottle is empty and there's no residue. Either someone is inept or pocketed my pills. Meanwhile, I pray that my surgeon refills it. Edit to add: They messed up but I'm forced to wait on the phone for over 40 minutes. Nice. Update: I'm first in queue and someone goes to pick up the phone but puts me on hold. Still waiting at the hour mark. Update: Waiting for over a hour, told to call back in the morning (well, my surgery is at 4:30 in the morning. I called the number again and asked for the manager so said she would personally walk back to the pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy manager answers. He answers and basically tells me oh well.
