I bought some hardware for a project and had one 3 dollar item to return. Since it had been 31 days since I bought it and was one day late they would not allow me to return it. Another time I came in for some weedkiller and wanted to purchase it for the advertised price on the Tru Value Web site and he would not honor that advertised price. Well in my book it's 3 strikes and you are out. I will never ever purchase anything here again unless they have the only one out there. The other hardware stores in Estes Park have never pulled theis kind of stuff on me. They honor advertised prices.  These people see the consumers here as tourists. They don't care what you think because you will be gone in a few days.  The tourists make this great town what it is and it is sad that this guy doesn't know who signs his paycheck during the off season months

TL/DR: you're better off at big box stores or Marketplace/Craigslist. It literally hurts me to…read morewrite this review. This review is for the material reuse sales part of the business. It used to be a reliable place to get any type of building supplies at decent used quality for a "this has definitely been used" price. Now it's wildly overpriced. This review is almost more for me to remember to stop driving down to Boulder to try shopping here. Example: selling the 15gal barrels they receive their deicing salt in for winter - for $15. Barrels seem to be priced at $1/gal now, even when they're deformed or broken. So expect to pay $5 for a 5-gal bucket, $35 for a 35gal can and $50 for a 55gal. Saw $45 for a utility sink made of the same cheap plastic as Walmart Adirondack chairs - not the older, indestructible molded utility sink type. Bent and broken rakes and shovels for $5-20. It's just wild. Pieces of pallets are priced as though they're new stock lumber, and they don't even list the lumber prices anymore (were they to have any, which they didn't)... with the way everything else is priced, there's no way I'll even bother checking. At this point it's cheaper and more reliable to buy new from Home Depot which is beside the point of this place and it sucks!! The quality of used goods did not improve in the past 2 years, so why the price tripled is beyond me, but it's not worth it. Bye, Resource Central. I really loved you while you were affordable. Thankfully Habitat ReStore still has their head on straight.

The location CANNIT be beat!…read more This was our 3rd stay in the cabins but 1th in #5. Each one is owned independently but managed. #5 definitely not my favorite- the kitchen was smaller than others ( counter space wise) and the carpet edge was bare with staples/ nails up all along the edge when you went from the couch area to kitchen area so always watch where your stepping. The hot tub jets worked a little bit but not all of them. Enjoyed the fireplace. Tge bedriom with tte cushy chair was very nice and plenty of comforters. The bathroom was clean and great water pressure. We did search for the hot tub towels but located then under the bathroom sink. We asked for more coffee at the office and no problem at all. In addition they let us have late check out which was greatly appreciated... yiu cannit beat the view and sound of Fall River.

We've been going to Estes Park for years and this year, we stumbled upon Estes Park Condos. There…read morewere many different options, so we picked one that would accommodate us the best. We're a family of four with a three year old and 18 month old. When we arrived over Thanksgiving week, winter weather was already in full mode. As soon as we got to our room, the heat was preadjusted, so we could not turn it up any higher. We had a fireplace, but soon realized the fireplace would not turn on to provide heat. We quickly called the office who sent maintenance to our room. After attempting to get it working, the maintenance man said he would need to get a part from the local hardware store, but the store was not currently open. So he brought us a total of three space heaters for our condo. Having the heaters throughout the condo were not only a tripping hazard for everyone, but we had to constantly watch our little ones who were trying to touch them. After a cold night, the maintenance man showed back up the next day and worked for a long time before finally stating he was unable to get the fireplace working and a professional would need to be contacted. A short time later, someone from the office contacted us and said we could move rooms. So, they gave us another room, however, it was set up differently than our first room. We picked our first room because it was one level and we didn't have to worry about our kids going up and down stairs. Our new condo not only had stairs but also had a smaller kitchen and smaller main bedroom. The person from the office, who never gave their name, called and said we would talk about a discount to the rate that was already paid for due to the trouble of having to move and being without heat for our first couple of nights. We were told to call the phone number that the office worker called from. We got back home Monday the following week and reached out. Between Monday-Friday the following week, my wife and I called approximately 15 times. When I finally called the office phone number, a younger office employee said that each condo is owned separately and that he did not deal with refund issues. When I explained we have tried calling the number we were told to several times, he stated all of the condo owners had been on vacation in Mexico the week before and they were "just settling back in." This was Friday mind you the following week. We never received a call back after all of the messages we had left. We will definitely not be going back to Estes Park Condos and I would not recommend them.

Since it was the lowest price and they had no bad reviews, I decided to choose them. I was later told that they would not honor the estimate they gave me because the contractor they sent out bid too low. They gave me a new higher estimate. When I went in to select the flooring colors I wanted, they told me, for the price they bid me, I had one choice for click vinyl and 10-15 not very attractive choices for carpet. Mind you, they have a beautiful store room with all sorts of options, but I was not allowed to choose any of those without my estimate going dramatically higher. When I called a couple times asking about the floor prep required, they wouldn't answer my question and instead they would send me a new estimate, saying 'that's the best they could do'. I wasn't trying to negotiate prices, I was trying to understand what prep was needed. I finally decided on which carpet and vinyl I wanted. Then I compared all of the estimates they gave me and realized that the labor and types of floor prep varied considerably between estimates. I went in to discuss the variances and they came back with an even higher estimate from Suzanne. It was $1000 over the original estimate. She didn't even come downstairs from her office. She had her employee give it to me saying that this was the final estimate. She basically wanted to get rid of me. I walked out. I have never been treated so poorly.
