There are 2 packages and both are stuck, one was estimated to be delivered on 9th Oct and other between 15th-20th Oct. 1. PRO Number 037-8025270 Has been sitting in Sacramento for a couple of days now. This package was supposed to be delivered on 9th Oct, 2020. 2. PRO Number 037-8025267 Has been sitting in NASHVILLE, TN for a while now. With no information on when will it start from Nashville and get to San Mateo California. My shipment arrived at Ventura, CA terminal on Jan 15th. Sat there until Jan 20th, and has made its way to Oklahoma City where it has been since yesterday, just says awaiting departure... I ordered two different pellet stoves on two different occasions and they destroyed the first one and dented and scuffed up the second from what looks like being tipped over. The first stove I was told three different delivery dates and they were all wrong. Finally showed up when I was getting home, after 7, in the dark, when it was supposed to be next day between 1-4PM. Pallets were all destroyed on bottom and pellet stove shipping brackets ripped out or completely sheared off from rough mis-handling. The night before your company left a message stating someone would call prior to delivery. You could use that method to inform the customer the item has been delivered and this way we can all limit thefts of items left at door steps. In my case, your company left it between cars in front of the garage. Work on the services you you provide. Awful... I have had 2 deliveries from them in 1 week, and both were bad! My sofa wasn't delivered in my scheduled appointment window, I called and had to leave a message. No one called me back. Then I found out it was delivered the next day, left out in the rain overnight. No call. No notice of delivery. No explanation as to why it wasn't delivered in the window they provided. This company is a disgrace. My husband contracted with them and a local affiliated transport company (RAC Taos) to ship a sofa from our private home in New Mexico to our son's private home in New York. He paid the shipping cost and was given a pick-up date but they never showed up. After several reminders and several unkept pick-up dates, he hired at his own expense a local delivery man to deliver it to the local company warehouse. It sat there for a couple of weeks and was eventually transported to their main hub in Albuquerque. It eventually made it to New York more than a month after it had been given to them. A delivery date was set but on the said date, the delivery men refused to bring the sofa inside the building 'because of Covid risks' and left it on the pavement in Manhattan, where our son was told to collect it. The top and sides of the sofa/packaging did not show any visible sign of damage so he signed a clean release. However once the movers left and he lifted it with the help of the doorman, it became clear that the packaging under the sofa had been badly damaged (which is probably why the delivery men would not move it in front of our son). Upon unpacking, it was found that the underside of the sofa had been crushed and two legs had been ripped (one was lost). I contacted Estes within minutes of the driver leaving and my being informed of the damage, was bounced back from one department to the other, was asked to submit multiple forms and pictures. Having not had any reply from them after several days, my husband was told his claim could not be considered until he submitted a repair invoice. When the sofa was eventually repaired and the invoice submitted, the claim was denied because 'no damage had been reported at the time of delivery'. Of course, the damage had been HIDDEN on purpose! I respectfully request that Home Depot please stop doing business with Estes Express Lines. This is the poorest delivery service for some of the most expensive items that Home Depot sells... The delivery driver from Estes Express Lines left the 300lb boxed generator near the street-end of our 120ft long driveway (about 30 feet from the road). I NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL, TEXT MESSAGE, KNOCK, OR NOTE ON THE DOOR TO NOTIFY THAT THE PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED. Not only did the delivery driver block the entrance / exit of our driveway, but any passer-by with the means could have stolen the clearly marked $1200 item without me knowing that it arrived. Additionally, I was able to help myself out of the situation because I was equipped with an 800lb capacity hand-truck for moving. I also had the physical capability to move the 300 pound package up the hill to our home. I took a few minutes of my day to think about how somebody else without the moving equipment and physical ability would have fared in the same situation... I have never written a review (positive or negative) about the hundreds of online transactions that I've done over the past 20 years... About to write the president of build.com since, unlike Estes president, they actual have a way to reach the leader of their company during issues like this. Purchased an item from build.com and they used Estes shipping. What a pain. First they seem to have picked up the item late from the build.com warehouse, then took longer to travel from TX to CA. Eventually made it to CA and now its sitting in a truck somewhere waiting to be unloaded onto another truck so it can be driven to another terminal where it will be loaded to another truck for delivery. Looking like it will be over a week past their initial stated delivery date. On top of that, I can't even make an appointment for the actual delivery (residential location for this product) until its at the final destination terminal. I've shipped and received tons of products over the years and these folks seem to be the worst and are hurting my business since I have employees on hold while we wait for this delivery. read more

Despite Home Depot saying that a customer wpuld be called 30 minutes prior to delivery, got a call that delivery truck was already at the house and he said he could not, would not wait. We called his manager and they told the guy to wait at least 15 minutes. I figured he'd leave in 10 so I hurried home. When I arrived the item was already sitting by the garage. The driver was still there. He asked where I wanted the stove, I said inside. He said he could not do that it could only go in garage or by front door. I apologized for no one being at the house (under post Harvey rebuild contractor was off on delivery day - I happened to be available because I was at my temporary home, at home from work sick). I told him that we were told we'd get a call. He seemed upset. He said had his invoice did not say call 30 minutes prior. If it had he said call before hand he would have. He stated he was upset with his boss for making him wait 15 minutes because someone has to pay him for that time/fuel. So it seems there is definitely some problems with the company, internal issues. Unhappy drivers is one issue. Also, I've read other reviews about them not delivering on time because a vendor wasn't paying them so they held customers hostage instead? Home Depot needs to contract a better delivery service and should know that despite Home Depot stating customers would be called 30 minutes prior to delivery, Estes is not indicating that on their delivery invoice and not telling their drivers. If you care about the items you're shipping, I can attest that in my experience Estes is not a choice you will be happy with. This company lost several pallets of merchandise, was unable to locate them- and then found it over a month later and brought it covered in soot. I watched as one of the drivers dumped an entire pallet of merch off the side of the liftgate and then tried to restage it and get me to sign for it. Most recently, a driver dumped a pallet of merch in the middle of my business driveway and drove away. It states on my BOLs that delivery appointments are required and they consistently ignore this and come without notice. The O&D Manager is never available and if you can get through to someone, they are unhelpful and unapologetic. Drivers say "Don't blame me, I'm just the driver." No one at Estes is accountable for their service. No one! Why a negative review? Because if I can help just one person from having to go through the hassles I have gone through, it was worth the effort. After all- this company has only one service - to deliver freight - and they've demonstrated to me complete incompetence. Update: within minutes of posting this review, someone responds to apologize. Finally on Tuesday 10/13 I reached out and was told the item was still waiting to be unloaded from the truck. Today on Wednesday 10/14 I called them in the morning and was told they have up to 24 hours to schedule a delivery after unloading so I would be contacted by end of the day. I reached out again as we are nearing close of business and was rudely told it is actually 24-48 hours. I kindly asked why I was told 24 hours earlier and the rude employee said 'I have no idea, people make mistakes' and offered ZERO advice or help on how to rectify the situation. 5/28/20 UPDATE: I emailed them after being requested to by their social media mess maker below. Of course I haven't heard back. I did speak with the branch manager at the West Palm terminal today who all but admitted the pool was most likely delivered to a wrong customer and someone now has a free pool. Great job Estes. Would you like to come clean up the giant mess I have in my backyard that was cleared for a pool I will never get?? Everyone I've talked to has been nothing but polite which is where I'll give them one star for that. But the fact that they lost an above ground pool??? A 425lb package somehow gets lost? How does that even happen?? Then they tell me to call the pool company and see if they can send another one. Well, they can't!! They are completely sold out because apparently during a pandemic the whole world suddenly needs a pool. I currently have a giant hole in my yard because my installer removed the 20 year old pool we had up, assuming the shipment would arrive in a timely manner. What a joke! The delivery guy calls me and says "I'm looking at a map and there's no way out of your neighborhood. You have to come pick up your delivery across town. If you don't, it'll be returned as unavailable and undeliverable." I explained that there was indeed a way in and out of my neighborhood, and he then spent another 5 minutes speaking rudely to me and telling me I was wrong. He three times demanded I meet him across town at his previous delivery, and get my order off his truck or he'd take it back. After more talking, I told him I'd pick it up or arrange to have it picked up, but it'd be about 20-30 minutes, and he'd need to reimburse me my delivery fee on the spot ($30). His response? "I'll throw the crap in the parking lot and leave it before I wait that long." Rude. He eventually delivered it. I asked to see this "outdated map" and he refused to show it to me. Finally got my kamado joe grill today delivered by Estes. Was given a delivery window of 11-3pm. The driver showed up at 1130 without a 30 min call. I mentioned that and he said that I have signed a release for a front door drop...so he was not obligated to call ahead. I never signed a release of signature online. Second issue. Being that the kamado joe is 230 lbs, I provided a dolly for the driver to load on so I can roll it to my patio. He was confused about the act and questioned as to why he can't just leave it in front of the door. When he finally agreed, he wanted to roll the CEREMIC grill 90 degrees to load it on the dolly. Does he want to break it. It's fragile and should not be rolled on its side. I just hope I don't get anything else from this freight company ever again. After contacting Home Depot and Estes, Estes told me they delivered the 52 boxes and it isn't their problem to take it up with my financial institution (CC company). The Miami Terminal received my package last Wednesday, December 6. I called on Thursday to inquire about delivery and was told three separate times (after lengthy waits on the phone for someone to pick up) that the package was at the terminal and would be transferred to Tier Two for residential delivery on Friday at the latest, and would be delivered on Monday at the latest. On Monday I called the terminal again and was told it had not been delivered to Tier 2 yet, and wasn't on the 'manifest' to be transferred yet. Sensing a deeper problem, I called the national Customer Service number and (after another even longer wait) got a very nice representative and I explained my problem. I told her it seemed that the Miami Terminal hadn't transferred the package to Tier 2 and it wasn't on the manifest because they had no idea where my package was! The representative put me on hold and called the Miami Terminal. When she came back on she confirmed that the Miami terminal had no idea where my package was. I guess they figured they would eventually find it and one day send it to tier two for delivery. How long was that going to take? Four calls to the Miami terminal didn't cause concern that it wasn't on the manifest to be transferred? She said to call back at noon. At noon I called the Miami terminal and they found the package and it would be transferred. I then called Tier 2 customer service and they confirmed it was on the transfer manifest and would be transferred either Monday for a Tuesday delivery or Wednesday delivery. Good News, it will eventually be delivered Tomorrow, December 13 one full week after being received by the Miami terminal. Of course, my call this morning just confirmed the delivery tomorrow, no time was given. The representative just said I would be called later today. Good thing I took Monday off of work after being told it would be delivered Monday! (sic) This delivery process has been less than stellar. I will be forwarding this to the seller, I have already called them twice to find out whats going on. I also advised them to offer an alternate to Estes for delivery, I would have paid any amount to have my shower pan delivered by either Fedex or UPS, anybody but Estes. read more

Ordered a desk from Amazon that was delivered by Estes. I cannot even begin to describe how bad the box was damaged. The box itself was labeled as damaged, why would you even try to deliver? Communication was also terrible, when purchased we received an email from Amazon saying Estes tried to contact us to schedule a date but we didnt answer. No they didnt! Then we got an email 2 weeks later saying a delivery appointment had been schedule. No they didnt! They showed up 2 days early at 8:00 am and left the damaged box on the porch (Memorial Day) with no notice or knock. Glad we werent out of town for the holiday like we usually are. Had to take off work to wait for a tub that did not arrive. They called the following day and said they would be there in 20 minutes, still no delivery. Kept calling and still nothing. Finally got someone on the phone and said they would call me back which they never did. If you do get someone on the phone be prepared to wait or get hung up on. Have no idea where my item is. Had a $1300, 600lbs purchase from COSTCO online. Order was shipped on May 7th. Earliest delivery was today May 13th. I was informed back on the 7th that the order was shipped and I would have to have an appointment to receive shipment. I entered all of my contact info and waited. Today May 13th @ 5pm I got an E-mail from Estes Express stating that my shipment was cancelled. I called Estes and was told that my order was NOT cancelled, in fact the Estes home team had received it and was readying the delivery to me. About an hour later I went to check the status and now it says Attempted Delivery - Customer Refused. That is an OUT A OUT LIE! We were home all day, and I never received any call from anyone at Estes. Estes went so far as to send COSTCO a message saying that we had refused the shipment. The worst of the worst! We purchased a bed and dresser through Home Depot. They showed up to deliver and the driver put the bed in the driveway and refused to put in garage even though it was supposed to the threshold delivery. It was starting to rain so this was a HUGE problem. The guy had an attitude and just left. He even failed to offload the dresser and bed rails. After many calls we were assured that we would get a redelivery the same day. That didn't happen but promised to deliver two days later to our porch. Delivery driver came with dresser and rails and left In driveway exposed to the weather. Told me it wasn't his problem and he wasn't putting on porch. These drivers are rude and have no common sense. I wonder if front door delivery includes leaving the shipping palettes in front on your customer's homes. I had a bunk bed delivered a couple of weeks ago and I was not home to receive it because I'm an essential worker and had to work that day. My elderly mother was there to greet the driver. He dropped of the box that contained my bed along with 2 shipping pallets. When my mother asked him why he was leaving the pallets, he replied "those are your pallets now, you bought them". I was so upset when I came home. He left them in front of my garage door blocking my ability to park inside of my garage. The pallets weigh twice as much as the bed that I ordered and we are not able to move them. My order clearly states that I have 1 box containing the bunk bed weighing 190 lb. I did not order pallets. When I called to ask the company to retrieve them, they were extremely unprofessional and said they could not pick them back up. I have no way of disposing of them and it will cost me to have my waste management provider schedule an appointment to pick up and dispose them. After this experience, checked out the Yelp reviews for this company and found an overwhelming number of one star reviews.
