I have been wanting to come here for quite some time but today was the day I ventured to Kennebunk…read more Snug harbor is a paradise for plants, whether you like them as house pets, as landscaping, or as food, Snug Harbor has all of it. They have one of the most beautiful selection of pet plants in the area and the farm itself is kind of fairy tale like. I wanted to come here for the famed terracotta pots they make. They're all very rustic looking, some with green mossy exteriors, and range from tiny handheld pots to giant pots you can fit in. They have a little shop with more gardening and plant lovelies, showing off tools and specialty items. They have kokedamas hanging around here and there and it's just a beautiful place. The only downside to the farm is how expensive things are. I felt their plant prices were a little on the expensive side, but they had beautiful tropical sun their greenhouses that were gigantic. Looking for olive, lemon, or orange trees? They have them! Their pots, what I came for, were incredibly expensive too. A standard 6 or 8 inch pot will cost between 30-35$. I ended up with a small one for a single succulent and I was out $15! The farm has many animals and a whole (fluffy dove?) house too. Ducks, peacocks, chickens too! The staff were super friendly as well. I'm glad I was able to make it down but unfortunately I definitely felt a little priced out. They have toonnnss of succulents and would definitely recommend coming one for a more "interesting" succulent as I saw many that I had not seen before. Their houseplant selection, while they had many, did not have any super unique ones, but definitely had large plants that may be a little harder to find. I rarely saw a houseplant that was in the $20 range unless it was small. Most were in the $60-$150 range to give you an idea. Regardless, this is a beautiful place and I would probably recommend getting a plant instead of a pot alone. A single succulent in a pot was cheaper than the pot itself. I probably won't be a regular customer, but will drop by when I can.

I love this place! Open year round with an amazing selection of plants and other things. Whenever I…read moreneed a gift for anyone, I always come here. The prices can be very high, but the quality of the items is amazing. You can find anything from hosting gifts like table cloths, olive oils, and teas, to craft items, puzzles, funky cards, and more. Everything seems to be made by a small business which is an added plus. The staff are always friendly and if you're lucky you might see some really cute farm animals runnning around!

As a collective group, we wanted to send her flowers regularly to remind her she was in our thoughts a prayers. This past week she passed away and I am reminded (as the contact with Fleurant Flowers) how much I valued the exceptional attention our friend was given. I grew to totally trust the designers, delivery, and contacts. Every arrangement was exceptional for the price we paid. Each arrangement was colorful, balance of flower variety and greenery, and (most important) brought our friend "hugs" and "love"

I cancelled my order via email, three weeks before the scheduled delivery, because my husband's…read moregrandmother preferred a plant. I find out later that we were charged and an arrangement was delivered. I spoke to a worker, Phil, who was rude and sarcastic during our conversation. He insisted that since it was delivered I should pay. He finally agreed to refund me when I pointed out that it didn't make sense to make me pay for their error and forwarded the email where I cancelled. I email the shop about the conversation and my husband's concern that Phil might not refund us due to his rude behavior. This morning the owner, Melissa, calls me and we have a conversation about the order and email. She was angry about the idea of having to refund me for the reasons Phil cited. She also tries to tell me that the email was unclear. She reads it back to me and I tell her that the words, "I'd like to cancel this order" are very clear. In my mind she could have convinced me into not getting a refund if she would have simply apologized for the mistake, Phil could have convinced me if he would have apologized and had been civil. She cut me off and finally told me that I was no longer welcome to order from them anymore. The arrangements are very beautiful, but Phil and Melissa were so intent on telling me it's somehow my fault rather than admitting they made a mistake. I did receive a refund. We all make mistakes, it was a weird escalation. It's strange to tell people I'm not welcome at a floral shop in Maine because they're upset at refunding an order that I had cancelled with three weeks notice. That's where it went though.
