The refrigerator that I purchased from them 10 years ago broke down and I called them to schedule a service call. They said it would be 6 weeks!!!! What do you do for 6 weeks without a refrigerator. I purchased these appliances from Agren because they claim they will service them. Again, I say they couldn't send someone out for 6 weeks! I called another local company and they fit me in the very next day. I will never again purchase an appliance from Agren. NEVER! Also, I had an issue with the ice maker on said refrigerator about a year after I purchased it and a burner on a gas stove I also purchased from them (over 5K for these two appliances). These appliances sit side by side and when I called to make a service call for both them they said that I would have to book and pay for two separate service calls. COME ON! Is this how you treat a loyal customer? In the last year I purchased a front loading washer and dryer. The dryer just doesn't dry clothes. I called them immediately to come take a look and the service technician simply told me to read the manual and that the dryer was fine. Didn't show me how it worked just told me to read. I read the manual before calling and long story short he was no help and the dryer still struggles to dry a load of laundry (already checked other factors like the vent etc). Overall POOR service once you have made the purchase and have the appliance. Great before that point. I will NEVER buy another appliance from them again!!!!!!!!!! I have already needed more and have purchased from other stores.

My family and I have had great experiences purchasing furniture from Jordan's. We bought a couch…read moreabout a year ago and a mattress more recently. We worked with two different associates (different departments, otherwise we would have definitely worked with the same people again) and both were helpful, but not pushy. The associates did a great job of answering questions, looking up inventory, delivery dates, and product information. They also gave us space and time to try different options, think about our decisions, etc. Both experiences were very positive and we feel like we got good deals with exceptional service. The protection plans and expected lifespan of the products were also some main reasons we ended up purchasing from Jordan's. The only difficulty we had was that there seemed to be several other "shoppers" who were just hanging out or tire-kicking, which meant we had to wait a few minutes before working with a salesperson. This wasn't a big problem, but it is a testament of the atmosphere. If you have no patience for tire-kickers or kids running around, it might not be the best furniture shopping experience for you. We were fine to put up with it, but it's definitely worth noting. For both purchases, we opted for delivery because their prices are good and it was so convenient! Each time, they arrived within the scheduled window, communicated clearly, were efficient yet took the time to explain care instructions, and were respectful of our home. With the purchase of the mattress, they even removed both the old mattress and box spring included in the delivery!

When we arrived, we were greeted by an employee who initially seemed interested in helping us. As we walked through the bedroom showrooms, we didn't immediately see what we were looking for, and the employee began trailing behind us with noticeably less engagement. Before long, she was on her phone and no longer paying attention. When I turned to ask her a question, she had disappeared entirely. We continued on our own and eventually found a set that might have worked for us, but there was no one available to assist. At that point, we decided to leave and return to one of the other furniture stores in the area. As we were walking out, we saw the same employee enthusiastically greeting another couple, while completely ignoring us. The lack of attention and follow‑through cost Jordan's a very significant sale, and unfortunately the experience was poor enough that we won't be returning. On the other hand, our experience at Furniture Superstore was the complete opposite, attentive, helpful, and professional. We purchased everything we needed there.
