The Pros: Their prices are competitive, the quality of plants is top-notch, the staff is friendly, and everyone there has a great deal of knowledge that they are happy to share. The Cons: Getting through to them can be a challenge (busy phone line). At times I had to be persistent about the timeline of things, but I never felt blown-off or unimportant; they did a great job of communicating their scheduling challenges and all worked out well. What We Bought: We purchased several arborvitae trees for a privacy line (all trees came in perfect condition with solid root balls, not in pots) and they are thriving. We also had a wetlands garden designed and planted, and we had two custom barrels of flowers created. For both the wetlands project and the barrels of flowers, we gave a general idea of what we wanted to accomplish and left the design up to Moody's. They nailed each one. I couldn't imagine anything more perfect. Customer Support: My husband I and don't know a lot about caring for trees, shrubs or flowers but everyone at Moody's has been extremely helpful and willingly to share their knowledge without making us feel foolish. They have a true partnership approach and have been fantastic about answering our laundry list of questions and have even come back to our house check on our plants and provide more advice on caring for them. Overall: Invest in this small business. Whether you're doing a large landscaping project or need a watering can, Moody's should be your first stop. I will never go back to the big box store for any of our gardening needs.

They had a gazillion pumpkins and all different types of gourds this time of year, but at the front of each of the greenhouses were a variety of plants from small succulents to giant birds of paradise. Outside there was a selection of pots, but like most places they were out of terra cotta pots. Lots of mums and fall arrangements, and their farm market had a really nice selection of wine, produce, and dairy products. Parking was painless and checking out was easy enough. Today was that day with them hosting a Mother's Day pop up with Eighty 8 Donuts and the newly opening Mini Bar coffee trailer. It's the perfect time of year to visit here with Maine finally getting warmer and nicer weather. Despite the somewhat rainy and gloomy start to the day the sun has come out and so have so many people. They have a large parking lot but it's been very full. If you are looking for any plant this is the place to visit! From the smallest options including Bonsai trees and succulents all the way up to trees and more. You could spend hours here walking down and looking at each and every plant they have for sale! We even had a great time just browsing and looking at all the beautiful plants. They had many members of staff who were putting more plants out but all willing to help with any customers who needed it. I thought prices were reasonable for what they were. Some were high but it was for large or non common things. Besides the plants they also have an indoor shop with bird feeders, feed, books, and more. Extremely well maintained and thought out business with phenomenal staff and an incredible variety of plants for sale. A true paradise for those with a green thumb!

Visited for the first time recently to pick up a gift card someone purchased for my husband. Plants are nicely spaced and divided amongst bushes, perennials and annuals. I look forward to returning and using the gift card.

Today I finally called him out in the store because enough is enough. It's inappropriate, unwelcome, and has made me feel uncomfortable every time I've walked through the door. I'm relieved I didn't buy my Christmas tree here, no one should be made to feel that way. I'll happily drive farther for a place that treats customers with basic respect.

Giftwares produced locally and more. I purchased a Strawberry Rhubarb pie that was simply one of the best I've ever had. The pastry light and flaky, the Strawberry Rhubarb filling well balanced between the sweetness of the Strawberry and the tartness of the Rhubarb.
