Pat and Lori, the two "cofounders" of the group are awesome, and perhaps that is why these events draw such a cool crowd as well. Also, there's beer and yoga, so if you like both of those, you're pretty good in my book. So far I've been to events at Strike Brewery and Hapas Brewery (a new brewery in San Jose - such a cool venue), but they are branching out to other locations and even a distillery in Santa Cruz in a few weeks! After that introduction, I've been a huge fan and supporter even since. Blink and you'll miss it; it just looks like another warehouse from the side of the road. And, well, it is! This where the action happens and the bottles are born, you're just lucky enough to be invited inside. Unpretentious, chill, and down to earth. It's even dog-friendly so everyone's welcome here. I've loved everything I've tried, from whiskey to gin, but the sassafras liqueur is really something special. I don't know of a single other example on the legal market.
