Turns out, I seem to have developed an allergy to wax, as I had a very intense and painful reaction on the skin that was waxed. But, once my skin healed? Dark tint and brow shape look great! Lisa let me know that she doesn't like to taper the end of the brow and I was feeling like mine weren't looking feminine enough, so I reached back out after and she offered to adjust them. We had a great time during the appointment. We got things off on the right foot (insert sarcasm here) when I broke her table... Yep, put one butt cheek up on it and the whole thing came crashing down. She was so cool about it, even though I was super embarrassed. I'm fat, so I was blaming myself and she just kept telling me that it was a super old table and she needed to get a new one anyway. I'm pretty sure that I apologized ten times and she insisted it wasn't a big deal. I laid down on the couch in her waiting room and we used that to get things done, lol! Thanks to the allergic reaction, I'm not sure Lisa will be able to become my new brow gal, but I would absolutely come back for other services!

Since she is a one-woman shop, she only allows one person in at a time and allows extra time to sanitize between clients. She also has a face shield, hand sanitizer ready, takes my temperature, and has disposable paper on the bed. And starting now, she is also taking Venmo- super handy! Having a baby and working the weekends it's extremely hard so I was very grateful I found a place and Sugar waxing was different for me I thought I'd give it a try. I had my appointment with Kiana, she greeted me offered me a flass of wine and we proceeded to the waxing table. I didnt feel pain at first but halfway through the session i heard Kiana say "Oh Shit", i was reslly nervous what she did to me and my left eyelid was on fire I i asked her to please take a break. Another customer showed up and she told the customer 5 min as if she was rushing. She showed me my eyebrows and saw she had yanked, pulled off a bunch of my eyebrows that werent supposed to be removed. I even asked her for an "S Shape" and later continued to tell me to come back Morgan was a specialist in eyebrows. This is so effed up when i made the appointment i specifically told them i wanted an eyebrow wax and i had a lot of work and trusted them. I am in pain still, my skin is irritated and extremely burned and ended up having a black eye of how rough Kiana was with my brow. I got asked at work if i was assaulted it was embarrassing. The owner Vanessa got back to me 3 hrs later, it seemed to me they were more worried about a negative review than the customer. Also Kiana has left unsatisfied customers. I will put captions on the pictures how it looked like throughout the day and reviews of different customer and texts i received. This was the most painful experience I've ever experienced when it comes to eyebrow removal. Next time I am just sticking with eyebrow wax. I gave it a try, it's definitely not for me and again more painful than thread, or wax. To each their own but had a terrible experience and wish them well. I do hope the owner obviously sees that many customers have been dissappinted by Kiaras service. My advice look into this place before you go there. My experience was awful and very painful and ended up with burned, damaged skin, and a black eye.

I thought "even tho it's Friday I'm going to be able to relax and not be rushed" Instead I was told to pick a color (which I did) & ignored while two more customers walked in & were directly sat in pedicure chairs. Now I'm sat in the chair, I was offered coffee/water. That was the nicest thing so far. I refused, not because I was offput or anything but because I brought my own water. service is started I ask my nail technician for a service I receive everytime I get a pedicure. For acrylic big toenail. She turns to her coworker who doesn't break her concentration to make eye contact and tells her "no we're busy" My tech looks up at me and tries to convey the message. I already understood. I am a sitting customer but was asked to come back later to get what I actually wanted or to settle for what they could do right now. I sat a bit frazzled for a moment & asked to be clear "so I am a customer & cannot receive the service I am requesting?" she looked quite bothered to break the news to me but she did. She was kind when telling me I was only getting what they were giving (in so many words) Being that I was on a break at work. I agreed. The rest of the pedicure was actually amazing.
