For my last appointment I was ready to do something much more fun that I have been wanting to do for years, take it shorter and do a bright fantasy color. There was a small mix up for the booking (first time ever) and there shouldn't have been enough time to get everything done, but Blake and the team (even the owner!) stepped up to make it happen and still took great care of the other clients there. They even got me out the door in time to make an appointment I had after. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since! I love this salon and the team, and highly recommend them. P.S. I really appreciate their policies that keep the salon a relaxing experience, it's so nice to know that every time I go there it's going to be like going to a spa instead of a carnival or daycare. They are so conscientious about their clients needs, including sensory overload and/or stress reduction. Anyway, the first photo is a screenshot of what I wanted. I saved for months to make this possible as a Mother's Day gift for myself after having my 3rd child and needing some self care. The third is what I got after returning the next day for them to fix it. It's terrible. Not at all what I wanted. And that streak in the middle... ugh. Anyway. I'll be having my cousin cut my hair because after all their attempts to "fix it," my hair is so dead and tangles so easily. They destroyed my hair and made me feel worse. Yes, I couldn't told them I still didn't like it. Here's why I didn't - they charged me significantly MORE when "fixing it" because of the supplies they had to use - no acknowledgement that it came out differently than intended nor an apology.
