Our downdraft hood vent broke down. We decided on an overhead vent this time because it's quieter. The new pendant lights I chose had to be rearranged to make room for the hood vent. We hired ESS again for this project. I really appreciated their care and attention to details to help make everything look just right--from matching paint color to helping decide where to place the new lights. They also repaired some kitchen cabinet trim and drawers as I requested. We hired ESS handyman service for a corporate office/kitchen remodel and it was hands down the best decision we've ever made! Ernesto was so easy to communicate with and 100% understood the vision of what we wanted to do. He also helped us with some custom furniture pieces and a pallet board decorative wall. Sammy is an excellent craftsman and had a bunch of unique and creative ideas to finish our remodel. He handled the bathroom remodel almost entirely by himself and the work really showed the extra detailed effort he put into this project. Sebastian is incredibly talented and was able to assist on all aspects of the project including keeping everyone on schedule. Overall, I could not think of a better company for this type of work. I reached out to a handful of other handymen and construction companies and the service provided by ESS handyman does not fucking compare. It's as if all these other companies did not value my project as a legitimate potential client and have no Fucks about how to take care of their customers. Ernesto was able to find time for me on relatively short notice, though he then forgot about the appointment until I reminded him that morning. To his credit, he immediately dropped whatever he had been doing and came right over to at least do a survey of the various issues I had been having. Ernesto did a great job on a repairing the base board of my kitchen sink cabinet due to water damage. Communication was excellent: from promptly responding to my inquiry, scheduling the appointment, arriving on time at the agreed hour. After he repaired the base, he also caulked/sealed the edges should a leak ever occur again. He and his team (Sebastian) cleaned up after, including hauling away my damaged base.
