I thought they ghosted me and forgot later open I DID find the quote in my spam folder. They were just too $$$ for me; the highest bid. This is to redo my older review. read more

This is the second time have I used Espitia's Tree Service, and everything was as great as the first time when they removed a jackfruit tree from my front yard. This time I asked them to trim all of my trees - a large shower tree, two large orange trees, two plumeria, a purple leaf plum, several panix plants and fifteen Areca palms. That's every tree in my front and back yard! They also removed a Yew tree. A big job that they were able to finish in only four hours by using a three-man team. They had a chipper to dispose of all the branches and left the yard clean and looking good. The cost was extremely reasonable for so much work. If you need any type of tree service, Espitia's is the one to call. read more

Roberto, Alejandro and his crew are THE BEST! They are completely reliable, from returning texts to being prompt. We hired another company before and that ended in branches falling on electrical wires, guys slipping from the tree, etc. Roberto is a MASTER at climbing. I watched him the whole time and he climbed and cut flawlessly and strategically. Every branch and tree trunk were caught with rope and there was no damage, even being very close to our new fence and wall. They are appreciative and very nice. They even used the leaf blower to blow the debris off our lawn. We will definitely call them again! read more

I've used them 3x in the last 2 years to thin out 11 mature trees. Each time they were excellent, responsive and gave a reasonable price. The 3 young men that are involved in the business are hard working, move quickly and leave the yard clean. I like to give business to people like them. Going to use them in about 2 months to trim the trees again. Excellent! read more

We did not have a good experience on a high end job. They crew damaged a bunch of sprinkler heads, forgot to cut certain tree branches, didn't do all the work as previously agreed and had difficulty in communicating when they would show up, among a number of other issues. read more

Ilandis, Alejandro and Roberto were great to work with. They were easy to contact, promptly showed up for the appointment to give us a quote, sent us the written quote in a couple days and showed up on schedule to remove our large, 70 year old mango tree. They were courteous, did a GREAT job and cleaned up after themselves. The job took longer than expected (1.5 days instead of 1 day) but they stuck to their quoted price! Would definitely hire them again if the need arises. read more

The guys did a great job at a rental I manage and came under another bid as well. Then I used them at my own home - also very good experience - job well done and fair price. I feel lucky to have found them. I would recommend them to others - absolutely! read more

Quick response, competitive pricing, and detailed scope to my requested work. Thank you!

We had a tangerine tree in our backyard (aka the BEAST) that was neglected, infested with creepy crawlies, and most likely diseased. I contacted several companies who quoted me cheaper prices but was impressed with Alejandro's responsiveness and knowledge. Once I gave the go ahead, his team was there within an hour. In addition to cutting the BEAST down, they cut down a smaller orange tree that was being eaten by borer beetles and a dead stump next to it. Not only did they do an outstanding job taking the BEAST down, they cleaned everything up and hauled away the green waste as well as the bricks, gravel, and miscellaneous debris that had been accumulated over the years and leveled the area to match the existing yard. Very happy with the work done and would highly recommend Alejandro and his team. read more

We had 2 very over grown macadamia nut trees, situated on a downslope below our house but rising above our 2nd story roof. Alejandro and 2 crew members spent most of the day pruning and shaping the trees, cutting away dead branches, and removing Monstera growing up the trunks. They left enough leaves and flowers to maintain the beauty of the trees and to attract birds. Alejandro did the branch cutting (too scary for us to watch tho he kept himself tethered to the tree), and one of his crew spotted his work from the ground to help with the shaping. They hauled away all of the branches they cut and cleaned up the leaves that cluttered the garage afterwards. They did exactly what I hired them to do and checked with me a couple of times early on to make sure they were maintaining the height I wanted. There were dead branches and dead leaves left behind but I had not asked them to clean up the rubbish that had accumulated over the years. (I received bids from other tree services that included doing this but I was trying to keep down my costs, and I enjoy doing that kind of yard work.) I would definitely hire them again. read more

Roberto gave me an estimate and came back the next day in a timely manner. He removed a tree and lots of branches, debris. Afterwards he prepped the ground--- did a fantastic job and is an extremely nice young man. Very pleased with the work and highly recommend this business--- I plan to use them again. It was a pleasure during business Alejandro at Espitia's Tree Service. They were the first to respond to my request post via Yelp's project description service. Had 4 responses for visit to estimate the project. Espitia's came out and gave me a quote that same afternoon. We agreed then and there to the quote. He and his crew arrived on time at the end of the week as agreed. Thinning of tallest Areca palms in hedge with attention to not damaging other plants, fence, electrical wire and cars at the curb. All trimmings hauled away , yard and side walk cleaned. Job done before noon. Everyone was polite and worked fast yet safe. I am quite satisfied. read more

Started with a project on a single large Norfolk and was so happy with the service and price we did a total of 9 trees. Will definitely use this company again. read more

This trio know what they are doing and show great pride in their work. Alejandro responded with a very fair quote and the job was done the following day. On-time, friendly and respectful. I had 1 coconut palm tree removed - cut to stump; and 1 coconut tree trimmed. All debris from trees in yard picked up and hauled away. Job took approximately 2 hours. Excellent customer service. Photos to follow. read more

After receiving an exorbitant estimate from another tree service, I contacted Espitia's. Alejandro, the manager, replied promptly; visited my mom's home so I could show him what we needed: cut down a money tree and remove the stump; rescue/prune an Ironwood pine (Bonsai) and a milkwood; clear out a mass of foliage on the side of the house. He gave me an estimate almost $500 less than the previous service. ~ They did an excellent job. Arrived on time; completed all the work quickly; cleaned up everything. This is a family business, and I believe they really know their trees (and other greenery). read more

Super excited that I chose this company. I was nervous because there weren't many reviews, but I have absolutely no regrets! They were super responsive, got me a quote quick, and came to trim down/out our avocado tree and other stump. I will definitely be using them again! I also loved that they all had great experience from before and knew what they were doing. Do not hesitate in having them help you out! read more

Alejandro and his crew are amazing! They gave us a fair quote and worked quickly to help us get rid of a giant Albizia tree. Not only are they the nicest, but they are also hard, efficient workers. We've had other trees trimmed and removed by other companies, but didn't have the responsiveness and quality work that we got from Alejandro. I will absolutely call them again. I highly recommend them to help with any of your tree needs!! read more

quick reply, flexible to meet, great price, started right away and cleaned up everything!

I've never written a review on Yep but Espitia's tree service is THE very best on the island that they are so well deserved an excellent review! Alejandro and his whole team are responsible, the hardest workers, who provide high quality of work for the most reasonable price on the island! Their integrity, excellent work ethic and pleasant attitudes will give you both great values, and best experience! Alejandro goes above and beyond to do the right things! He would do more than you could expect from the service. Give them a chance, big or small jobs, you won't be disappointed. read more

These guys are great, the quote they gave me was reasonable and worth every penny. I needed a large mango tree cut back and it was no problem for them. Alejandro called back the same day I reached out, was very helpful and gave me a ballpark estimate which I liked. Roberto, the guy who came out to give me a quote, really seems to have a passion for his work and that made me feel comfortable. They worked hard, cleaned up nicely, and were very professional. I have no complaints, I highly recommend! read more

I was in great need of help for my mango trees due to their condition on how the leaves looked, it was not great. I requested an estimate and they were able to quickly respond to me and help out my trees. I was able to get a good price for trimming some of my fruit trees and pruning my trees. They also showed me better ways to care for my trees. The whole crew was very polite and professional. I was VERY pleased with how clean my backyard was after they were done, because I have had a bad experience before with another company. read more
