I have used these guys for over 20 years. They are very knowledgeable and honest. I don't buy anything but Honda or Acura and I would never take them anywhere else to be serviced besides here. Highly recommend! read more

Very professional and knowledgeable. We've always had good service from this company a reasonable price.

Especially Honda has have my car for three months. It's a 2001 Accord and they can't fix it. They told me they put my car on the black bunter. These are supposed to be Honda specialist. But I'm black so my car is not important for them to fix. Avoid this please. read more

4 years ago, new to the area, I was told these guys are the best. They indeed are the best. No bogus charges. I really love them. Great service, really honest, amazing job, and so knowledgeable. What else do you need?!?! Receptionist lady too is an expert. Love them. Seriously. The purchase of my next car is leaning heavily towards a honda or an acura because of their service @ Especially honda. read more

I can not recommend Steve enough!!!!! Another shop told me I needed $3400 worth of repairs and Steve put $5.00 worth of fluid in and I was on my way. He was fantastic! I would tell everyone to go to Steve first, he is honest and I was so thankful. read more

Have used these guys for almost 15 years. Easy location to reach and park. Excellent service and prices. As soon as I discovered these guys I use them for all my service and recommend them to any Honda owner. There is a night drop off option. read more

I am torn about this place. They quickly and in expensively troubleshot a problem with a transmission control unit ( I took it to two other places and they were the only ones to figure it out). With confidence built I took the old honda to them with a major engine issue. They told me that I didn't have compression in cylinder 1 and I might as well start shopping for a new car. After some prodding they opened the head and saw it was a few burned valves and clogged EGR ports. They finally agreed to replace the head at a cost much less than a new car. When I got home from picking the car up I found coolant leaking. Further investigation showed that the brass top tube of the radiator was beat out of round. I also found broken bolts that I didn't remember being there before. I went ahead and fixed these myself. I won't be going back. read more

I have been a customer at Especially Auto Service for years. This company is trustworthy and more reasonably priced than Honda dealerships. Steve gives you the option to compare his estimates to dealers. If you own a Honda, you need to make this your service option. read more

My boss told me about this place and he was right they are amazing. I take my Honda in for service and they change my oil and rotate my tires and give me heads up on what service will be needed on my next visit as well the cost . No surprises . Professional employees. I do suggest to call and make a appointment. read more

That Steve guy has THE Nastiest NASTIEST attitude I have ever encountered. I gave him my keys and I forgot my purse in the car. HOW ABOUT HE JUST GIVES ME THIS LOOK AND DROPS THE KEYS ON THE COUNTER while looking at me!!!! Even when I first called him and asked for help HE.HAD.AN ATTITUDE! ESPECIALLY AUTO more like ESPECIALLY A**HOLE. I try not to let things bother me and I RARELY write reviews. But, his attitude is just astounding to me. Like if you need your day ruined go visit especially auto for an especially bad customer service experience. I don't care if it is his business or whatever. But there is a certain way you treat people and handle things. I was just a little anxious and stressed about getting my car fixed. I am sure you dear reader have been there before, car troubles can be And the last thing you need is someone to make your day worse. Idk if he is having a bad say or that's just his personality but ethat's not an excuse. I only came to "especially auto" because someone recommended me this place and I needed the issue handled immediately. Other than that I would have went elsewhere and I wish I did. This problem was resolved and it didn not take as long as he said, but that customer service is horrible. read more

I'm from Atlanta and was traveling thru Greenville on a business trip when my Accord left me stranded off the interstate. My car was towed to the local dealership who said I needed to replace the engine. I had the car towed to Especially for a second opinion - my timing chain had slipped and was a easy repair. So glad I found these guys from Yelp, they had me up and running after one day in the shop. If I lived nearby, I would use these guys for all my service, they are very knowledgable on everything Honda and are very affordable. read more

I have been going to Especially Auto (Especially Honda) since 2001 and I absolutely love them. They are a contributing factor to me owning only Honda/Acura. They have always been honest and done the work for far less than the dealer charges. They have always fixed my issue 100% the first time and most all work has been done in 1 day. If you own a Honda or Acura, this is the best mechanic in Greenville to get your car serviced or repaired. I'm sure they aren't 100% perfect because nobody is but in 18 years I have zero complaints about the service they have provided. read more

Great place to have car serviced. Drive away with confidence.

My son bought a Honda Accord from a friend of mine, who bought it new in 1999. Especially Auto Service had always performed routine service and required maintenance on it. The AC stopped working, just blew hot air. I decided I would take it somewhere else. Big mistake. The place I took it to, kept it for 4 days, ran numerous diagnostic test to no avail. Actually told me the AC was kaput. 900$ repair. Something just didn't feel right. I decided to call Especially Honda. I am so glad I did It was the Air Mix Motor. Repairs for that were about 300$. We are a Honda family, needless to say we will never trust anyone else with our cars. ( we have 5 Hondas ). We live in Simpsonville but will make the trek to the West End, no matter. Also, the folks at Especially Honda were professional and courteous. Especially the lady at the front desk. She is the consummate pro. Highly recommend. Best of the best! read more

probably the most honest, capable, trustworthy place to have your auto serviced, oil changed or whatever. Just a Gem. you never need to worry about being told something needs to be replaced when it doesn't need to be, you never need to worry about anything. and that is hard to find in the auto mechanic business. Truly wonderful people and service. read more

The lady at the Front desk is condescending and pretty much tastless, she causght an attitude because I didn't call to make appoinment there is no website to know this and no one answered the phone when I called. Then when I left and came back to ask a question, there she is with her back turned talking about and me. Made her fill like crap when she turned around to see me listening to her. She truly unprofessional. read more

Used EH for several years but recently had a major problem with them. Went in for a minor repair to my power steering system (O Ring). Their repair caused slow leak in the system. Took back and they charged me to fix the leak, but it created a constant loud noise. They suggested that I just ignore it. If I wanted the noise to stop, I would have to replace the entire power steering pump. I took to another shop. The O ring that EH used was the wrong part. Simple fix and the loud noise was gone. I will never go back to Especially Honda (Auto). read more

I brought my first Honda to these folks 20 yeasrs ago and have been a customer ever since. As a previous reviewer stated, the young lady at the front desk knows more then most most mechanics at the dealerships - she has diagosed problems with my cars over the phone and has been spot on. Having a relationship with this buniness has really decreased my shopping time and decision making when it comes time to purchse a new auto; I only buy Hondas in large part because of their honesty, trustwortiness and expertise. read more

My Honda Accord had a recall and a local dealer fixed it. When I picked it up they said I had three oil leaks, and it would cost $1,525.00 to fix them. I took it to Especially Honda and the owner said they would fix the most obvious leak, clean it up, and check it again after I drove for two weeks. Nothing else was needed. Their fix cost $375.00, and lasted for the several years that I had the car. read more
