He arrived, we BS'd for a few minutes, he removed the old/original battery, which would have been difficult for me to do, he put the new one in, tested all my equipment, took the old battery and was on his way. What a great experience and my first time using a mobile mechanic. I was able to get things done around the house, didn't have to find out where, when and what type of battery to buy, didn't have to drive to where the service was going to accomplish the task at hand, didn't have to wait impatiently at the service center, yada, yada, yada, all that other stuff we experience in those matters. He came out, and I felt like he gave me an honest diagnostic, it cost $80 and I felt good about the information he provided. However, my truck was going to need to get towed as it was in not starting. Josh wrote up a contract that I would pay him half the money up front, he would purchase the parts and then upon completion of the work I would pay the remainder in full. I agreed, and proceeded to send Josh half the money. Since he got the money he has dropped off the face of the earth and I have not received so much as a text update from him. I called Square (his payment processor, that he wrote the contract through) and have he won't even respond to them. They're now telling me I need to go through my bank to try and process a refund. Today's date: June 20,2025 Last communication received from business: May 9, 2025. Beware.... Do not recommend.

The others wanted me to call them rather than being proactive. I provided the vin and the quote was 60% less than the dealer. I spoke with Caleb, and we added more things to do. During the maintenance, he sent photos of his work. I live pretty close to him. He was able to take my car in the night before and he delivered the vehicle back to me completed. It is difficult to find an honest mechanic who isn't trying to scalp you. It is also difficult to find a mechanic that has fair pricing. I recommend Fix All Auto, LLC. I know I will be using Caleb again in the future.

I could stretch and see maybe two diagnostics, but three? a diagnostic for a tune-up?? I asked if the test for the tuneup should probably be "on them" because I would assume that most mechanics know how to do a tuneup. Even I could do a tune-up and have done so when I was younger! Maybe this is a trend now, but it seems to me that the customer is paying to teach the mechanic what is wrong. We went to O'Rielly's and got the diagnostics done (free) then went to my original mechanic who fixed everything for $204.00. Car runs great! I would love to know if this sort of gauging is normal in the trade now.

I would then bring the vehicle on over to Doug Hall Garage, and get a second opinion. A couple of examples. Had a van that I took over to another mechanic shop. Radiator was smoking, steaming. They took a look at it, and said I needed a brand new radiator, parts, etc... Would cost close to $1000. Took it to Doug Hall - spoke to Wayne. He put some water, and dye in the system to see if it had any leaks. Sure enough one of the hoses had a hole in it. He fixed it. Cost me $15. Another time same issue with brakes. Took it to brakes 4 less, they ended up wanting to charge me for 2 front brakes, and some other work for $229. Took it over to Wayne again at Doug Hall Garage. He fixed it for $50. Wayne is a really good and fair man. Definitely recommend Doug Hall Garage!
