I tried for 2 weeks to get an appointment with Dr. Nazemi. The doctor's scheduler (not sure of her…read moreofficial title) kept making me send more records. The scheduler was rude every step of the way and got mad at me when I sent records that were not exactly what she wanted. Fishing for and deciphering medical records is not my job. I did the best I could. She was impatient and rude. She interrupted me and was aggressive in her mannerisms. She finally found an excuse to not grant me an appointment and sounded very pleased with herself as she got off the phone. I don't understand why a doctor would want a scheduler who doesn't want to schedule people. I'm now trying to get in with a different neurologist whose staff is, so far, courteous, helpful, and very clear about requirements. Aside from the delay this is causing in my care, I'm relieved that it didn't work out for me to see this doctor because that scheduler is not someone I want to interact with often...or at all.

His many years of experience really show, and his knowledge is impressive. He made me feel very comfortable and informed as a patient. He helped me immensely, addressed all my concerns, and greatly improved my quality of life. His office staff is also wonderful, helpful, and accommodating. Thank you Dr. Nazemi!!

Having moved from the Northwest where 3 years ago I had a successful 8 hour surgery to remove a benign fist sized tumor, having a neurologist knowing my case for annual follow ups is critical. The moment Dr. Nacionales introduced himself (after having the resident neurologist collected the data from me) I knew I had found the doctor I would want to have in my court. The next question was quickly answered when he asked me to schedule a follow-up appointment with him. He is taking new patients and unlike some neurologist who have been in practice locally for years is booked out for months. I'm looking forward to a long, healthy relationship having Dr. Nacionales on my health care provider team.

Incredibly rude office staff. I had an anxiety attack because of how nasty the receptionist was and…read morethe more anxious I became the nastier she was. Doctor prescribed me the wrong medication, (weaker off brand) so when I had to get an early refill they didn't care nor try to help. Basically left me without my medication that I NEED in order to sleep because of an error on their end. Had to pay out of pocket to get my refill. It's heartbreaking that people this inconsiderate are in the health field. What a sad world we live in!

This is one of those instances where I didn't have to get frustrated by the "schedule with one doctor and then get another", "bait & switch" tactic employed by most doctors in the Coachella Valley area. Instead.. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, efficiency, knowledge, expertise and experience level of Dr. Bryce Jolly. He is a podiatrist and I thought I was going to see an orthopedic surgeon. Apparently they looked at my xRay ahead of time and noticed that I really didn't need an orthopedic surgeon... THIS time. Podiatrist was all that I needed. My metatarsal fracture has healed well. WHAT A RELIEF! ***** 2021 has been a year of breaking bones. It was only a few months ago that I was in a BOOT, suffering pain and agony from a 5th metatarsal fracture. Three months later from the initial break, another orthopedic outfit told me that my fracture had widened and that it had not healed well. Several months later I'm shown that my fracture has healed well and that I need to always wear a solid supportive shoe.. at least for a full year before wearing sandals again. I was elated by the good news! I highly recommended Dr. Jolly.

This is so inconsiderate and such horrible pathetic care and service. We will.never go to this hospital or their doctors again. Run the other direction as fast as you can. This place is a joke. Can not believe they are allowed to act this way. Reports to the state will be made over this.

This review is for their La Quinta office…read more Dr. Naccionales is wonderful. Their office staff, on the other hand, has absolutely zero business working in patient care or a medical setting. I have been trying to get ahold of their office for three months to work out a simple billing issue. No one returns phone calls. Their biller, "Michelle," will never return a call. I called and left messages for three weeks. Nothing. The office staff will also say they'll call you back and they never do. I have spent hours following up on what should be a simple issue that they simply don't care to or are unable to address. Particularly, Fabiola Frausto needs to be investigated. She has NO business working in a medical setting. She has repeatedly given me false information, gives zero explanation or follow-through, is combative and yells at patients, and has a total disregard for patients. I am stunned someone who treats people with such little regard would even fathom to work in patient care. I now have a bill in collections that she told me last month, when I had to drive to the office in person because she won't return a phone call, was handled. It was not, it went to collections, and her only response when I called for an answer as to why (since she told me last month this was handled) was to yell at me and hang up on me. Luckily, I have different insurance now and will not need to return to this office for care. The staff here is not worth the headache - no one at Desert Care Network seems to care about the unprofessional service their front office staff provides. Shame on you, DCN. Do NOT get care here - there are many other very good neurology offices in the area!

My husband had been…read morewaiting for three months to get in to see this guy and they canceled his appointment because the referral wasn't correct. They made me call to get the referral corrected, giving me a bunch of technical medical jargon to tell the referral department. This is something they should have done and they knew it but were just too lazy to be bothered it seems. Regardless I get it done and even though they promised to let him have his original appointment if I got it done that day (I got it done in less than an hour) they rescheduled him for yet another month out. So now we are at four months just to see this doctor for a meet and greet all the while his condition is getting worse by the day. So we waited, my niece took the day off from work to take him and we find out that they called him on Friday to confirm (his appointment for Monday) and because we didn't return the call that same day they just up and canceled his appointment. Calling as soon as they open on Monday wasn't good enough! SMH!!! Who does that? They are the ONLY doctor who does that and it is obviously for greed reasons. Whatever, I ask to reschedule and she says she can call me if something becomes available tomorrow (we have to arrange transportation, etc. we can't just up and go) so I say no can we just have an appointment scheduled out further? I also add that they shouldn't book new clients on Fridays if they are going to just cancel seeing as they are closed for call backs on Sat/Sun. She clapped back, "Oh you could leave a message" so they check them on their day off? Who knew? Then she rudely suggested (because how dare me be upset) that we could call our referring doctor and get a different neurologist. I said, yeah I think we will because you all are a bunch of -----bleeps! and hung up the phone. AnywhOo, that is exactly what we will be doing along with a complaint to his insurance company. These people only care about one thing and it isn't patients. What is really sad is that they deal with people who have brain issues with zero compassion. They have clients who may not always be able to call back within their given time frame NOT TO MENTION how much time and preparation goes into getting to one of these appointments! If I had not called Monday morning as soon as they opened we could have ended up going and being turned away! Not okay----- again, my niece took the day off from work, my husband can hardly walk, someone has to dress him, etc to get there SMH it is a ton of work! There is NO CARE for that or that my husband actually needs to see the doctor instead of playing games with an incompetent and uncaring front office staff. Avoid these jokers if you can.
