It was a hot evening but tolerable because we had a table next to a fan. My husband and I shared the "Jogger's Delight" - a delicious veggie pizza. They offer a variety of beers on tap and I went with a local one called "Sun Up 'til Sun Down" IPA by Farmer's Brewing Company. I was able to attend a preview event at the newly remodeled E's Locker Room last week and I was completely blown away. The building and design are beautiful. The views of the river are still exceptional and there is even more outside seating. My favorite part of the event was the food. My husband and I devoured the E6 minus bells and onions. The dough is to die for. The pizza crusts were perfectly thin. I was in gluten heaven. The sauce ratio is light and the meat toppings flavorful. I love the E-6, it's la pizza rolled up like a calzone. We love the atmosphere and the customer service.

This place has been closed due to a fire and have yet to reopen, which should n soon. And when they do. This place will b hoppin'! Whatever day u go call ahead and see what the wait time is for food and how crowded it may be. They have a variety of beers to choose from... Something for everyone in fact. They also serve wine and of course sodas. There's live music from time to time, indoor and out door dining. Even in the winter, the back patio area is heated. Plenty of parking but not too handicapped parking friendly (of course that may have changed with the rebuilding. Very family friendly, pet friendly too just make sure your animal is leashed... Sometimes that should include children too lol. Located on the beautiful Sacramento river be mindful of that and depending on the time of year you visit, u should bring bug spray with u due to the mosquitos. Very relaxed atmosphere oh ya and the food!! How could I forget about their delicious food! They serve pizza and bagel dogs, calzones. Hidden Gem! The pizza and salads are phenomenal, the beverages are ice cold, the restaurant is clean, the staff and owners are cool and the venue is on the river! This pizza place/pub is a friendly comfortable place with outdoor seating overlooking the river. But let's get to the meat of this post: they don't skimp on the meats! You gotta go here for the calzones and pizza's. I've gotten calzones here and especially like the E6! One can be enough for two medium to small people. Otherwise get a whole one and save half or so for later. Also they make some special pizzas which are delicious, but it's more fun to build your own. They have a good selection of toppings and are fairly priced for every size of pie. But you know what makes or breaks a good pizza? THE CRUST. These guys make their own dough and it's fantastic. The first time I went here I went right back that same week--for the crust! Lastly--they make really tasty specialty (and HUGE) salads. But you may not be able to finish one alone. I've been gluten-free for seven years and I am very often disappointed with pizza crusts that are often a sad attempt at flavor, texture or any real satisfaction at all. However, this little round the bend pizza dive in red Bluff is a treasure. I had no idea what to expect, but I walked into a very nondescript, empty front room that ultimately opened up into the restaurant in the back, that then opened up to the Sacramento River and an amazing back patio with at least 15 picnic wooden tables overlooking the river. And the river is huge and beautiful ..and at sunset? I couldn't believe what I had stumbled onto. And then, the pizza! Not kidding, this is the best pizza I've ever eaten. I ordered the "joggers delight," which is like a multicolored vegetable haven on a pizza. I killed the vegetarian a little bit by putting sausage on it as well, but it made it that much more flavorful. As a generally dissatisfied tolerater of gluten-free crust, I am completely blown away and I feel transported back to eight years ago before I had to go gluten-free.
