I had them come out to do a one time spray the first week of June. Customer service was good and they were accommodating to my schedule which is why I have 3 starts. However, with in a couple of weeks I started seeing spiders in my house again. I was very busy and didn't have time to call back and later I figured it was too late since I only got a one time spray. I did a one time spray with another company back in November and bugs were gone for months after that. I don't want a contract because I may move soon. Time to get sprayed again because now I see spiders every day but thank God I don't see any roaches. read more

I was referred to Erwin's by friends. I have to say, I was not disappointed. Everyone from the office staff to the tech, were very polite and helpful. I got an appointment for new service right away. At our first appointment, we were working on our house and they were unable to spray the interior. Multiple phone calls were made to Aaron, our tech. He was always so nice. He happily accommodated us and was able to arrange for someone to come prior to our move in date to spray the inside. The tech who came to spray was also very nice and very personable. I live in Sanger, and I have been with Erwin's for over 3 years now. The owner Robert is always easy to work with and very accommodating. However, the technician are hard to understand, sort of arrogant and boisterous. He treated me like I work for him. When we would have a little disagreement with the scheduling, he would always threaten to cancel my business with them and to go find another pest control company. I find it really weird that this guy acted like he's the owner and has the privilege to treat their customer like I work for him. Amazing. Always the skeptical one when faced with acquiring new services; don't like the sales BS and the feeling of "being at someone's mercy". So I went on Yelp to read reviews. Called Erwin's Pest Control about an issue of seeing a rat crawling down from my attic the night before. Spoke with Rob (owner) at 9:30am, he asked me when I would like someone to come out to evaluate the situation; still freaked from seeing the rat I stated, "well right now". Rob said he could come by in the next hour; within the hour he was here! I explained some issues and Rob make suggestions/ recommendations but never pushed or made the visit an attempt at a hard sell. I am never one that's happy about pushy salesmen. After talking with Rob I could tell he was a pleasant, sincere and professional person. I knew he was the guy (company) I wanted to start a monthly pest control service with. That being said, Rob said he would return within the next hour to place traps (for the rats) and spray inside/ out (for insects). I could not believe I could call at 9:30am and by 12pm the whole process was complete. All you people who gave Erwin's 5 stars were spot on! read more

I am very happy with this company. They called me back right away and our service guy, Nate, was extremely friendly and helpful. Our yard was a mess from overgrowth and trash that we are cleaning (spring cleaning) and he didn't mind at all. He also was very accomdating to our schedule. We are very happy! read more

based on the other reviews, I called this company and spoke with rob, about a pretty bad rat infestation under my house. he was super nice, gave me plenty of time and a number of suggestions, and if my own attempts don't work, i'll for sure get back to him for whatever he can do. fyi - a number of interesting and funny "rat control" u-tube videos out there for those of you with a similar problem - I'm going to try the traps that rob recommended, even thou I don't want to deal with dead rat bodies, but also am tired of the little buggers setting up their man-caves in my basement....big screen t.v. and all, I bet. good employee, assume good company. read more

Been with Erwin's for 10 months now. This company has been great to my husband and I. Our pest guy, Nate, is terrific!!! He attributes to the success of this company because he keeps his commitments and is extremely flexible with our schedule. He does a great job and provides service with a good attitude. Nate is professional and has never given us any problems. No job is too big for him to handle. He's our go to guy and responds to inquiries in a timely fashion. Where should I start? This is the most incompetent service EVER. Paid them $500 cash for a 1 year monthly service. Now, if you feel like having to fight and claw and ARGUE with these clowns to get EXTREMELY sub par service then STILL have ant and various other pest infestations, then maybe you'd be happy with them, but we are NOT and have requested our balance refunded. First (initial) service - the guy spent less than 20 minutes (which is charged at TWICE the monthly rate), so for $80 I got about 18 minutes of 'work' from Keith. Had to call him back as he missed more than 80% of the cobwebs. When pointing out all the cobwebs on our wind chimes he told me, "We don't 'do' wind chimes." Well, obviously they don't 'DO' a whole lot of other things, as even after calling him BACK, he pissed around a bit then left (took ME and my HUSBAND over 30 minutes to go around the outside of our home to remove the cobwebs that obviously Keith DIDN'T)!!! So, second service comes along, and another $40. We requested the backyard be sprayed EVERY service for fleas and ants, as we have 3 dogs. He failed to spray the lawn so when my husband ran after him and asked him to come back and spray the lawn this nincompoop ARGUED about it!!! All he does is walk around the perimeter of the yard with a cheap Lowe's spray can on his back which I am CONVINCED contains sugar water, because we have ants now WORSE than we EVER have had, even BEFORE these clowns ever STARTED. Again, after second spray the house remains with MANY cobwebs all OVER the exterior and windows - they're in PLAIN SIGHT, don't know HOW he could miss them. I swear he just gives his Webster a ride as he sure doesn't USE the dang thing! So, just days after second service one of our dogs sneaks a bone to the backyard and less than 20 minutes later the bone is LITERALLY COATED with ants. I wish I could post the pictures I took, as underneath the bone the lawn was literally BLACK - that's how BAD the ants are! Good Ole' Boy Keith will sweet talk you and try to be your 'friend' so you will feel bad if you complain, but I don't want him as a friend, I want him to DO HIS STINKIN' JOB!!! We have cancelled service with these jokers and expect our $380 refund immediately. I would NEVER EVER recommend these guys ... EVER! read more

I signed up with Erwins because my neighbor bragged about how great they were. The service has been mediocre at best. I still have some spiderwebs around the outside of my house and I've had the same wasp nest in front of my house for at least 6 months. I left Clark to go to Erwins and I miss the fact that Clark would call before coming out to service my property. Apparently with Erwins you have to request a call ahead. I wanted to support the local company, but they just didn't earn my business. Oh, watch out for their contract, cancelling a month early because I wasn't satisfied with their service would have cost me a $100 cancellation fee. read more

New to Fresno. Called Erwin's to get urgent service on rat infestation in attic and they had chewed through the wiring on my car ($1000). Clark from Erwin's asked me questions regarding an ongoing service agreement. I clarified I was new to Fresno and had an urgent situation. Clark's response was unless I signed up for ongoing service they would not be available to come out. How would I know I want ongoing service from a company I have never used? Based on this level of customer service I would never use this company. Erwin's could have had a very loyal customer based on this service but was focused on the contract versus the service. read more

I been with this company for years. I bought my house about 12 years ago and had been with this company for at least 10 years. I never had any problems when Jimmy was there who retired this year. They gave me a new guy who didn't have the chemicals to spray inside after spraying the outside. He promised to come back and spray the inside but 3 weeks later he never did. I left a message this weekend to cancel my services. On the other hand, he did offered to come out today to spray the inside and apologized for not coming back out. We decided not to have him come out and the new company will be out tomorrow to start spraying etc. I called the company to cancel my service and spoked to a gentleman who offered me a month of free service to keep my business. I refused and told him I had another company coming out tomorrow to start my new service. I thanked him but declined his offer. This concludes our conversation. read more
