This will be a mini review because I just had a brief (but incredibly positive) interaction with this business. We got back from vacation and there was what appeared to be a small-but-definitely-new wasp nest in the corner of our front porch. Not wanting to mess with it, I sent a photo to JAR Pest Solutions via Yelp and asked if he could come remove it. I've had an allergic reaction to wasp stings in the past and didn't want to take a chance. Joseph replied within one or two minutes (so fast!) and explained this was something I could easily remove myself and explained how to do it (and it was safe for me because it was just a mud dauber nest). He advised me not to waste money on an exterminator. So.... I have an incredible amount of gratitude and respect for a busy professional who takes the time to tell me I don't need his services. Joseph helped me out and if I ever have a more serious pest problem, I will absolutely be calling JAR first. read more

They made starting our pest control service & everything about the experience so easy, even payment was effortless as they accept Venmo and Cash App. JAR was referred to me by my good friend and I couldn't be happier with our service. Everyone has truly been so helpful and friendly from the start. Pam was a wonderful tech and we look forward to seeing continued results from their service. Also I love that I am able to support local good people. Stop your search and call them, you won't regret it ! read more

Bed bugs, ugh! I thought I had bedbugs, turned out I didn't, whew! When I called Joseph he picked up right away, I think he could hear the stress in my voice and came To my house the very next morning. He was so thorough and shared so much information with me, Not only about bed bugs and how they travel but other critters. He took his time, Listened to my concerns and addressed each of them. He was knowledgeable and polite. The inspection fee was nominal. I will defiantly call Joseph again for any on my needs for all types of pest control!! read more

Pam & Joey do a great job spraying & discussing everything with me. Their prices are very good & I'm happy with their service.

My in-laws had some mice running around the inside of the house. We knew Joe from work he had done, so he was the natural person for us to call. He placed a few glue traps and a few snap traps around the house. The glue traps caught them within a couple of days. He came by every couple of days to check the traps. When a week went by without any more sightings or caught mice we agreed to conclude our service. We did refer him to my brother who has a black widow spider problem in his yard. The service was significantly less than other quotes we had received from other exterminators. They came out quickly, got the job quickly and did not try to hammer a service contract that was not needed. read more

I have used this company multiple times and have never been disappointed! I recently had a case of bed bugs in one of my units and it was handled with great promptness. Joey is so reliable, honest and thorough that I refuse to use anyone else. Recommend for residential homes and for landlords with multiple properties. read more

JAR Pest Solutions - Pest Control Near Me

EXCELLENT service!!! So happy I came across jar, on a moms page/forum on Facebook! I couldn't go with another company when an overwhelming number of Fresno moms highly recommended JAR. He was so quick to respond, used text - which was perfect, so much easier for me to schedule Apts that way!!, and squeezed me in super fast. After he sprayed two days ago I have seen SO MANY dead bugs and black widows!!! So glad he came and did such a great job. The price was VERY reasonable and I signed up for monthly service. Highly recommend!! read more

What an awesome experience with this company! Tech was punctual and extremely knowledgeable! He thoroughly checked my home for mice/rats and told me what to do to alleviate the problem. After looking for nests and location of mice (couldn't find either) I was given advice and the tech left. I would recommend Thai company looking for a reliable and trustworthy peat control company!!! Thank you so much for the awesome service!!! read more

If I could give 100 stars I would! We realized we had a German cockroach issue in our kitchen, mainly under the fridge from dog food falling under it. After trying to get rid of them ourselves, we finally decided to contact someone. The owner was able to come out within a few days. He sprayed the inside and outside & left some traps in the house to see what our population looked like. Since he came, we have had no more issues with cockroaches in the house! We now have him come every other month for routine spray & cobweb service. He texts before he comes and is in and out before I know it. JAR is the best! read more

Joseph is as good as it gets. I really appreciate that he sends me a text the night before service letting me know what time he will arrive. I've forgotten to unlock my gate and garage a few times for him and he is very understanding and easy to reschedule with, also very quick to respond. He always checks in with me when he arrives to see if I'm having any problems, and makes sure my property is secure when he leaves. I spotted a mouse in my garage in between service, I sent him a message and he came out at no extra charge the next day to set traps. Thank you for keeping my house bug and rodent free! read more

Joseph at JAR Pest Solutions really came through for me when a family of field mice decided to move into our cabin. Not only was he thorough and dependable, his communication skills were excellent. He always texted right away, sent photos and kept me up to date with every visit. I will DEFINITELY be calling him again and will most likely use him for monthly spider services. A really honest, hardworking and nice guy that delivers! read more

Not only is Joseph trustworthy, reliable, and a genuinely honest guy, he also provides wonderful customer service by always informing us before he enters our backyard. We don't even have dogs, it's just the right thing to do that most businesses forget to practice these days. He gets the job done quickly, effectively, and most of all is always on time and super professional. We've been using his services for a few months now and have been at ease that we no longer have any issues with creepy hairy spiders, ants, or any beetles or creepy cockroaches that can often make themselves comfy in your home. Thanks Joseph! read more

It was very easy to award him 5 stars. Joseph, the owner came. He went up into my attic. He gave me the disappointing news that he couldn't seal up the attic due to a roof that doesn't have underlayment. (From past experience, I know that can't be fixed without installing a new roof.) He told me that while there were signs of rats having been there previously, it didn't look that bad. He said that so long as I placed traps myself in the attic, they would likely catch the rats. He suggested using a few traps. I could place them near the entrance to the attic. The rats would travel to the food. I should use peanut butter as bait, he said. I showed him the area inside the house where I have one mouse I can't get rid of. He told me that I actually had the traps set up correctly, but I should try switching bait to the fruit he's been eating. He explained how to seal up a hole in the wall behind the oven using wire mesh. He was supposed to charge me $50 for coming out. He told me that since he couldn't help me, he wasn't going to charge me any money. I'm sure I could have insisted he place traps in the attic and that he take steps to catch the mouse. But that would have cost me money for things I can do myself. He suggested pre-baiting--using bait before setting the mouse trap or rat trap. Get them eating regularly out of the trap before setting it to go off. That's because both mice and rats are cautious. I realized I forgot one thing: He also told me that I needed to trim the trees around the house. Although I have the trees already trimmed so that leaves won't fall on the roof, I didn't have it trimmed so that a rat couldn't simply step from a branch onto the roof. I just made a quick attempt to fix that, although doing a more thorough job will wait until it's cooler. read more

Joe is the owner of JAR Pest Solutions. And he is the best. His service is super. I have used his service since spring this year. I got mice, wasps, rats, and many other bugs in and near my house. So I signed contract with him to come here every month to do inspection and treatment. He keeps his appointments on time, explains many things regarding the pests in the area, knows regulations, and lends me helping hands even for thing not related to his pest control business, such as helping me change battery in my smoke detector located in a very difficult to reach place. A few times I texted him very late at night to ask him questions and reported status of the bugs, he always reply quickly. His pest control methods are very considerate to the homeowner. He explains what type of chemicals are used and the effects on human and the bugs. Whenever he thinks he needs to increate services, he always discuss with me ahead of time to get my permission to do so. read more

Excellent! Joseph is honest, has fair pricing, and does great work which means a lot to me having been a Realtor for 16 years. Before I met Joseph with JAR Pest Solutions, I'd had a bad experience with another pest company who wouldn't disclose their hidden costs which felt like a scam. Thankfully I didn't sign their 'blank check' contract, but instead called JAR Pest Solutions. Joseph came out to assess my situation and gave me a fair quote to secure holes where potential rodents could enter. He just left and did a great job! I'm having Joseph spray for bugs in two weeks and also recommended him to a few of my former real estate clients. I highly recommend JAR Pest Solutions for all your pest concerns! read more

We moved to a new house on the outskirts of Clovis a few months ago, onto some land that had not had a regular pest service done to it for quite some time from what I gather. I got tired of my last company, and a friend at work suggested Joe to me. I called him and within a few days was out at my house doing an estimate, and then the 1st service shortly after that. Out in the country there is no shortage of bugs and critters, but by the second service, and after cleaning tons of dead bugs up, I could rest easy in our new place not worrying too much about our newborn crawling on the ground next to the previous inhabitants...lol. It's been a few months and all is well. We finally moved some boxes into the house from the garage and think we had a few mice camping out that made it into the house. One quick call to Joe and he was out there the next day setting traps and we think we may have gotten them all. He was very mindful of my dogs as well, as everything he set, kept them safe. He also pointed out places I needed to seal up and tips for keeping the critters out. Joe is the real deal, and I'm very thankful for him and the care he has given our property. He is a down to earth professional, that will treat you and your home right. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thanks Joe!! - The Stewarts read more
