I was a bit stressed because in the middle of a remodel, I was informed there was termite activity found. I sent out a request on Yelp and several businesses replied. However, Cassidy with CSI Exterminators called early Monday morning to schedule an appointment for David to come out to do a site inspection and provide his recommendations. We scheduled it for 1PM. To my surprise, I was driving back from the hardware store around 9AM and David was at my house. He was straightforward, professional, and very knowledgeable, which put me immediately at ease. David addressed my concerns right then and there, and answered all my questions. We scheduled services for Wednesday. The entire team was extremely professional and courteous. They knew exactly what they were doing, came in, got the job done, and left within the specified timeframe. I would definitely recommend CSI Exterminators should you require termite services. We were having problems with wasps and our current exterminator could not get rid of them nor were they allowed to climb a ladder to reach a nest at the peak of our single story house. Also with our current exterminator bugs would be back after a week or 2. So we called around and spoke to CSI and were so impressed with Jason and how much he knew about wasps, nests and getting rid of them. He came out the next week for our first service and he was so nice and had funny 'dad' jokes. He explained thoroughly what he would be doing and we also decided to have a regular monthly bug service as well as the wasp service since it was all included in a monthly price. He sprayed for wasps completely around our house, eaves and tile roof nooks and crannies. He said what he used would prevent them from coming back. It's been almost 2 weeks and we have seen only 1 or 2 wasps since but they fly away and don't come near where he sprayed. We are so happy! Dave drove all the way to Camp Nelson CA to eradicate a large yellow jacket nest inside my attic at our cabin. They were very aggressive and stung Dave. He did a great job. He located the nest and sprayed the wasps and nest, killed them all!!!!! Then he sprayed outside and sealed the gap in the eave where they were getting into the attic. I sent a request for quote via Yelp and Jim got back to me extremely fast, I want to say less than an hour we were working out availability and pricing. We picked a day and settled on a price and I waited for my appointment, the technician Jason was out as scheduled. He went through and opened up all of the areas he was going to spray, geared up and got to work, 10-15 minutes later he was all done! We chatted a little bit and he was extremely friendly and assured me that it would be safe for us to let our cat inside after everything was done drying. We then laughed at the review that had a photo of him driving down the road, with the onerous claim that he had cut the reviewer off and "wanted to fight him." All you need to do is talk to Jason for a few minutes and you can tell that he is a very mild mannered and laid back guy. Ronnie came out to our property in Dunlap (about 50 minutes east of Fresno on highway 180) to help us with a carpenter bee infestation in a gazebo. We were hosting a wedding on the property and it was important that the gazebo, where we were serving a buffet, be relatively free of bees. Ronnie was responsive and kind to travel that far. The ad says 95% success rate for bed bugs and I guess my parents fell in the 5% unsuccessful. My parents are in their 80s and somehow got a bed bug infestation a little over 6 months ago. I found CSI Exterminators through yelp and my dad contacted them. He liked that the service was with heat instead of tenting because they have pets and my mother is handicapped so moving to a hotel is not convenient. After signing the work order my dad had to remove everything that could melt and pull the carpet away from the wall. He also removed their beloved waterbed and sent it to the trash. A lot of work was performed to make sure the treatment was effective then they packed up and spent the day away so CSI could heat up the house. When the treatment was done and the house was cool enough to return they went home and began the long process of putting their things back and buying a new bed. The bed bugs had disappeared and they were very happy.....for a little over a month then they were back and CSI Exterminators does not guarantee they won't return (remember the 5%) and the thought of performing all that work again is daunting. I heard from one exterminator company that you have to tent and I didn't listen so now they have to pay another company to come and tent their house. They already paid over $1,000 to CSI! 9/30/2019 Update. Went with a tent service and another exterminator and the problem has not returned over 6 months now. Hired CSI to do a home inspection prior to our home purchase and were very happy with their initial response time. The office and owner were very prompt on getting back to us and kind. The final report however took over three days to get and I had to call and remind them we were still pending the final report. I was going to be out of town when they were going to be treating our house, so I wanted to go area by area with them in person instead of trying to leave instructions. Started off pleased with CSI. They were initially prompt, courteous, timely, and seemed to do good work. I was initially so impressed that i agreed to hire them for an ongoing bimonthly pest control service (even though i don't think i need it). They came out in June to spray and said I'd get a bill. I never received one. Then they texted me to call them about my bill. When i called, they agreed to email the bill to me (which they did) and then advised me when my next appt was. Unfortunately, they scheduled me for a day other than the day i requested on the initial contract so we had to reschedule it. Then, the day comes and they just never bothered to show up. So i called to cancel my ongoing service and shortly after mailed them a check (on 8/21/19) for the ONE service they provided in June. Five days after i mailed it (suspicious timing), they text me again asking me to call about my past due bill. I call and tell them the check was mailed five days prior. They said they don't have it (this was on 8/26/19). Then, on 8/27/19 they cashed my check. Two days after that (8/29/19), they mail me a paper bill (post marked for 8/29/19) saying my bill was past due. This is a shady business tactic that unscrupulous businesses try to do to get people to pay twice. I've had AT&T try this many times (they're professional ripoff experts). If this wasn't intentional, then CSI needs to get their act together because it seems to be managed by incompetent people. Can't keep appointments on the day requested, can't even attend scheduled appointments, no paper bill and then an emailed bill after i requested one, and then sending me a paper bill AFTER i paid them and AFTER they already set precedence with an electronic bill. read more

My teenager was waking up every morning with these welts all over his body. We called a different company and paid hundreds of dollars to have a special K9 tell us we did not have suspected bedbugs and maybe it was an allergic reaction to something else. THEN my teenager woke me up at 3:30AM to let me know there were "bugs" in his bed. Imagine my horrific surprise when I did indeed discovered he had bed bugs. I knew I had to catch a few and put them in a ziplock bag to prove it and move on quickly to remedy the situation before it spreads to the rest of our home and they "nests" (thanks for all this info google). I reached out to SEVERAL (like ALLLLL of them) pest control companies at 8am that same day. It was almost comical how many companies actually don't offer bedbug services, never return your messages/calls or schedule an appointment for the following week advising you to keep sleeping in the bed while waiting for treatment. It took CSI Exterminators about 20 minutes to message me back on yelp. I then called and they sent Jason IMMEDIATELY. By noon, I had a bedbug confirmation, knew my options, costs and what to expect during the process. He was very nice, honest and made me feel comfortable about the entire situation which also gave me confidence that CSI was definitely the people to help us remedy this situation. Jason was easy to get ahold of and promptly answered all 8 million questions I had the day before the treatment as well as the days following the treatment. Although pricey and a lot of preparation, We had the thermal treatment for our entire home just to ensure we could move past this. They were able to come perform the service the next day if we wanted. Jason, Randy and Kevin were scheduled to come at 8am and all 3 actually showed up at 7:30am to start preparing the house for the thermal process which I appreciated because I felt that they anticipated the time and extra effort it was going to take to treat our 5 bedroom 4 bath home and didn't rush or halfass the job. Jason was also kind enough to set our trash cans out for us, knowing we weren't going to be home that night to do so ourselves. I was told 85% of the process was them and 15% was up to me afterwards. I followed the detailed list they left for me and if I had any other questions, I just gave them a call. The receptionist, Jennifer, sent me all the paperwork via email to sign and send in beforehand, processed the payment over the phone and it was super quick and easy. She was so nice and helpful. So far, everything has worked out for us. My teen is no longer waking up with big welts. I feel like we can move on and put this behind us. Not the most professional place to do business. Someone came a week later to take care of some gopher problem we had in our back yard, the job got done I think, idk because we haven't got anyone to check back on the job to see if the case has been handled, not even a call. Most of all, we were supposed to get a discount for adding another pest inspection on top of the one we just got and someone was supposed to give us a call back to make an appointment for that, it's been over a week now and we haven't received any phone calls from them and I we got charged the full amount on top of that, which wasn't supposed to happen. This is an update to my original review. The heat treatment did not solve our problem. We have been finding more and more bugs. We were, and have been, extremely careful about what items came into our home following the treatment. Mattresses were covered with appropriate covers following treatment and every item that was brought back in that couldn't be in the home during treatment was thoroughly inspected and cleaned. This is devastating. It is a very expensive service that we couldn't afford the first time and definitely can't afford to repeat. Nothing against the staff or the gentleman that did the treatment-they were kind and friendly. But we are now at a complete loss as to what to do next. It's heartbreaking. read more

I chose CSI because of the reviews they have on yelp. They came out for a free quote/consultation for my "unwanted guests" the same day. He gave me a lot of information on what CSI can do how to prevent "the guests" in future. I did chose to try to rid them myself for the time being, but I will call them back if I fail. Wish I could give them glowing reviews because it started out positively.... I reached out to them on a weekend via email from their website regarding our pigeon problem and wanting repellant or mesh installed on our roof and around our solar. A lady by the name of Kim reached out to me via phone call and was extremely pleasant. She stated that the scheduler would be in touch soon to get us scheduled for a consultation to get started right away as the birds are wrecking havoc on our roof and even worse, affecting the efficiency of the solar panels.. to get to the point, until now, I still haven't received a call to get us scheduled. As a firm believer in PROMPT service, I'm really disappointed. And STILL disgusted with this pigeon problem. Hoping to find a company that can get this job done for us right away.
