I have a Ram 1500 and the previous place I took it to for oil changes just got to be too expensive, time consuming, and I got the feeling they were trying to add on extras to the change. Well ... not here! The guys working this service are friendly, fast, and fair. I've taken my truck there three times now and see no reason not to continue. They have realistic recommendations for service and stick to the oil service that you're wanting. They complete the service fast as well - usually around 10 minutes. Their prices are also very competitive and reasonable. I will certainly continue bringing the truck there and giving them my business.

First let's consider one obvious problem with doing your own oil change. The cost to do your own…read moreoil is not even worth the 15 minutes that you would spend at jiffy lube. And quite honestly it doesn't even matter about anything else, because when you go to a jiffy lube you actually get treated better than you do at half the restaurants anywhere. I'm not getting paid to post this. And I could care less whether you believe me or not. But I've been going to jiffy lube now for over 10 years and my vehicles have never run better in the past 10 years.

They recommended a fuller scan and quoted me at $90-180 for the scan. After taking a look at my car they determined I needed a new oxygen uptake valve (the same as the auto parts store and new front brakes. They charged me $174 for the fuller scan, $221 for the part which other repair shops quoted me $144 for, $90 for a brake check I never requested or authorized, and some for labor totaling over $650 dollars. They also stated that my brakes were going to cost me another $1800 to repair and quoted me for both the front and back brakes which they never stated I would need to replace the back brakes.

Contrast this with another shop we use in the area, where we've spent close to 10 thousand dollars chasing an engine oil leak, and after 6 different trips to that shop (NOT B&R), we still have oil drips under the car. It's really hard to find a shop that you can trust, both to get the work done properly when it's called for, but also to tell you when it's NOT needed. Good mechanics here, no worries.
