There is a small parking lot for his business but you can also park on the street. His prices were more than fair and the craftsmanship was top notch. Ernie has come through more than a couple times now. I've asked him for some quick fixes right before weddings and such. One time I came to pick up some pants and I didn't like how they came out. AB have been in the business for years so they are dependable and highly skilled in their area. I take all my work suits, long coats and other items for adjustments here. Recently, asked my local dry cleaner about their altering services for a winter coat and to move the button for a better fit. They wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount even the employee recommended that I take my coat elsewhere. So, I decided to take it to reliable AB whom I hadn't seen since the start of the pandemic. He was there and he gave me a great price versus what I would have paid. I just handed over my money and he asked me when I wanted it. I told him I needed it by Friday. So he offered Thursday and I agreed and I picked it up on Friday and it was perfect! Very happy that I took my business to AB. He changed his number so heads and adjust your contact info. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Awhile back, I needed my dress altered. We knew it was last minute but we hoped that someone would be able to do it even if it meant paying a big price. No biggie. He said he would be able to do it, it wasn't that big of a deal, and he even told us it would be ready the following day at a given time (noon I believe). We showed up a bit later that day because we were doing errands, and he had not even done it. We asked him why would he promise us he could at such short notice if he wasn't going to do it and he changed tones, all of a sudden, he "never" said it would be ready by said time, and that we should have prepared better by coming in sooner. While I agree with that statement, I think it would have been best for him to tell us he couldn't do it to begin with, that way we could find a quick tutorial to do it. Honestly his attitude was the worst. He then said he was going to start on it right then & there. Which why bother? We asked for my dress back which he hesitated to give, then had the audacity to ask us to share his business to other people. Nope. While I know we messed up on trying to get an altering last minute, a business person should also be honest and not commit to something they know they can't do. read more

I went in so I could have my taekwondo pants hemmed. Ernie was so helpful and nice. He said it would take about an hour to do the work. I went out and did my errands and came back. It was the cleanest hem I've seen. He was a really cool guy. He only takes cash though, so be prepared for that, but he'll tell you when you leave your stuff for him to work on. I'll admit I had my doubts about going here and after reading some of the reviews I still wasn't sure but I didn't have time to search and needed a suit quick . I came in and they were very helpful. They had lots of colors to choose from and after getting my measurements they assured me they'd be right on it and have it the next day . Long story short, they had a very nice suit and very well fitted in two days. I was very impressed with his work and I'm planning on purchasing several more from him . I'll never come here again. Came here after a family member recommended this place to me, but the experience was poor at best. I rented tuxedos for my daughter's quinceañera and to begin the tuxedos looked old with snags on the vests, some coats and vests were the wrong size that we had to go back to Bell Gardens from Whittier to exchange them, but what made it worse was the bad customer service. I guess good customer service is no longer a priority these days because when brought up any issues the guy straight up said he didn't care. I tried this alterations place for the fist and last time. Let me explain why. Last Monday, January 14, 2013, I took four jeans to this tailors to be shortened. They told me to come back the next day, Tuesday , January 15th. I came back that day and they told me they made a mistake and the jeans were not ready. I waited for the work to be done. While I was there, the owner and his son, both starting talking in Spanish, not knowing that I was born and raised in Spain , and that I teach Spanish as a job. And my racial background is white with blonde hair and green eyes.They spoke for more than 20 minutes about a movie, giving every detail in a very sexual manner. Talking about women using the words pinchi cabronas, and about their body parts. They also made derrogative comments about a female co worker that wasn't present at that time.Not only that, at the end of the job, the father asked his son about why was that gabacho crujo waiting for. He was referring to me. Those words are insults in Spanish, very racist and against white people. When they finish an awful alterations job, they gave the bill and the jeans. I explained that I speak perfect Spanish and that I understood everything they said. They were so ashamed they didn' t know what to do. Any apology came through though. Summing up, a place that insults customers with racial comments, speaks about women like sexual objects, plus does a horrible tailor's easy job should be closed or not visited by any customer. read more
