Erker Security is probably on the pricier side, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. In my case there was an issue with my house that prevented an alarm system from being installed 'as normal'. The issue was unknown at the time they sent me a quote for the installation of an alarm system. Despite a lot of surprises in my house along the way, they still honored the original quote. They went above and beyond to get the system working as intended. Among other things, they came to my house three more times then they expected to (including coming once after-hours), and they added some additional equipment to the setup that they did not charge me for. All the workers I interacted with were extremely friendly and personable, and the steady communication from them at every stage of trouble-shooting the issue was amazing. I never felt like I was in the dark, and I never had to struggle to get into contact with somebody for an update. I couldn't recommend Erker security enough - if you work with them you won't regret it! read more

If there was an 5+ rating I would give it! Erker Security did an EXCELLENT job! Through no fault of theirs they were brought in to our construction project later than they should have been and went WAY above and beyond to meet our project and timing needs. Paul Erker came out personally to understand the scope of our ongoing construction and contacted the U. City inspector to determine what exactly was required to comply with code. He revised the proposal a couple of times so that we could balance the requirements of code, safety and our budgetary constraints and maximize the value of our spend. When we had the details hammered out, Erker sent out 4 guys to get the installation done as quickly as possible and avoid delaying our overall project. Then when they couldn't start right away due to a miscommunication from another sub-contractor, Paul sent them to other jobs and had them back on site after lunch. Through all of it, Paul was gracious accommodating and in good humor. The work product was great and the willingness to jump in and get the job done was invaluable! read more

An Erker system when already in place when we bought our home so it was easy decision to just have them activate it. We called to do so and were surprised that Paul Erker came out himself to review the system that was in our house (it had been a few owners ago since it was installed). He wanted to meet us and be sure his technicians knew exactly what system was in place and its condition. He reviewed pricing options and mentioned potential upgrades to our older system without pressure. A couple days later, on our schedule, he sent two friendly technicians to get everything up and running. The were very helpful and thorough in walking us through how it worked. Best of all there were no surprises since Paul had already come out. And while they mentioned potential upgrades and additional capabilities, they applied no pressure. We get our bill every quarter without surprises. We have had a few false alarms (our fault) getting used to system and Erker called without delay.
