Hobby Lobby: Come for one frame, leave with fall exploding in your trunk. THAT should be their…read moredadgum slogan! Let me be clear: I'm not what you'd call a crafter. In my head, sure--I'm out here crocheting whimsical potholders and making my own scented candles like some kind of Pinterest sorceress. In reality? I want to wake up with the skillset of a seasoned maker without ever enduring the YouTube tutorial struggle. I don't want to learn to crochet--I just want to already know, you feel me? But none of that stops me from wandering the aisles of Hobby Lobby like I belong there. Because baby, I do. I may not be gluing rhinestones to wreaths, but when it comes to home decor? This is my Super Bowl. No matter the style, no matter the season--modern farmhouse, vintage cottagecore, "my house looks like an antique shop and I love it" chic--Hobby Lobby always delivers. Fall? They've got pumpkins in every size and personality. Christmas? Don't even get me started unless you want to hear me wax poetic about artificial garland and buffalo plaid. Need a random decorative sign that says "Gather" in cursive? Oh honey, they have seven. And I will consider them all. (Who am I kidding: I already own all seven!) Walking into Hobby Lobby is like entering a magical vortex where time doesn't exist and your cart fills itself. I always leave with twice as many items and zero regrets. And while I may not craft, I absolutely curate vibes--and Hobby Lobby is my go-to for all things "seasonal personality disorder but make it stylish." Five stars. Ten stars. A whole galaxy of stars. And a cart full of throw pillows.

My mom seems to shop here somewhat often but now that I know, I'll be honest: I don't love the overt Christian branding and that alone will never make this store my first choice. That said, I can't deny the variety they offer. No matter what craft you're into whether it be sewing, quilting, painting, home decor, seasonal projects, etc. Hobby Lobby seems to have just about everything imaginable under one roof even if it may be extremely challenging to find/the layout of the store wasn't great... While I'd prefer to shop elsewhere when possible, I can see myself returning if I'm in a pinch or need something specific. I can admit it's a convenient option. Three stars for selection and convenience with some hesitation on the overall vibes and prices.

It's a fun store to look around if you need home decorations or basic household necessities. They have living room, bathroom, dining room, bedroom items as well as baby products. It's slightly disorganized though; some of the items in the aisles aren't really consistent with the "theme" (e.g. art supplies with the bathroom-related items). It's a bit darker and messier than the Home Goods next door, but definitely worth swinging by!

They always have unique gifts there you won't find at other stores and their prices make shopping their a real bargain. The best part of shopping there is the great customer service you receive from the staff. I am sure the store manager has a lot to do with this. We recently purchased a heavy item which I was capable of loading in our SUV, but The manager. came running out to the car and would not let me assist in loading it. The clean upscale discount store has offerings that will have you returning over and over again, especially on Tuesday when new stock arrives, hence the name Tuesday Morning. I came in here the weekend before Japanese girls day (Hinamatsuri), and was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any girls day stuff available. I thought that was pretty cool. I have been to other craft classes and I don't think I have ever seen the person running the class do the crafts for the person who couldn't attend. We really enjoyed ourselves. We made a welcome sign to hang on your door, and a key holder for your wall. The class was easy to follow and it was relaxed. We were able to take our time and didn't feel rushed at all. This was the first time my mom walked out of a craft class, or painting class, and genuinely had a great time, because we weren't on a time limit. Mandi was extremely helpful. I will definitely be back with a group to take part in more craft nights.

It is a general store in every sense of that concept--they generally have a little bit of everything. Absolutely no food or beverages, not even gum or a soda case. But you'll find a bit of everything else, including ... ** Lots of fabrics, notions, and sewing supplies; bolts of fabric are cut-to-size for whatever length you need ** Cards, stationary, and a small assortment of books (mostly religious) ** Decorative glassware and knick-knacks ** General kitchen items (cookware, utensils, canning supplies) ** Grill and picnic supplies ** A few small electrics, like fans and light strings ** Small clothing section with mostly knits, sweats, and Amish hats ** Candles and candle holders ** Many natural soaps, lotions, and supplements ** Cleaning supplies and household paper products ** Garden and outdoor supplies, and some tools ** Toys and games ** Office supplies ... but definitely not limited to just that, you'll surely find more. Prices are very fair. I needed a couple basic plastic mixing bowls, and grabbed them here for $1.10 a piece. I also got some fly catcher strips for 5/$1, and a fork/whisk hybrid called a Fiskie for about three bucks. I'm eyeing a nice Chinese Checkers metal tin set, that was about $11. Next time, it will be mine! Attached to this same building is Lake Breeze Bicycle, a small bicycle shop in the basement of the general store, with its own separate entrance out back. I'll write a review for that portion of the business separately, but as a sneak-peek, it's a handy, well-priced store too. During COVID times, all other customers were masked and doing our best to stay distanced in the small store. The Amish women I've seen working at the register and fabric cutting area have been masked, too.
