My husband and I drove 2 hours to view a Lincoln Nautilus Reserve on the lot. The salesperson knew we were interested and coming. We arrived before noon the car was not detailed, it was very dirty. I'm not sure if the stains in the car can come out. The trim around the radio needs to be replaced and they said they would do it. That would mean coming back. If the salesperson would have called in the morning to save us a trip it would have been nice. The excuse for not having the car detailed was not enough help. REALLY DID RESCUE THIS DAMSEL IN DISTRESS I honestly cannot say enough good things about the service department at the EVS Ford in Random Lake, WI. I have never been there before today, but as I was driving to work today about 6 miles from my house (of a 70 mile drive) a light suddenly dinged on my dashboard and since I knew I had just filled my car up with gas I took a second to see that it was the temperature gauge light flashing. I then looked over at the temperature gauge itself which I literally NEVER look at ever and it was almost to the "H" and climbing fast. Of course I panicked and was about to turn into the gas station when I realized EVS was the next road and I was praying they had a service department. I rushed in and the man behind the desk was so nice and I asked him if he could figure out why my car was overheating. He asked if I had been there before and I said no, and he said ok, let's get you into the system and we can take a look at it. He took it in right away while I waited and I was so shocked that he got it right in, he didn't make me wait really, he just jumped in to help me, I think he could tell I was lost. I have no idea about my car at all except that it starts and drives.... Long story short it was low on coolant and a hose clamp had broken but the real story that I'm telling here is how nice and helpful everyone was to a girl that rushed in at 9 am in distress. Had a service problem with another unnamed Ford dealer (the one in Saukville) that EVS went out of their way to take care of. The Saukville/Port Washington dealer left bolts loose on the fuel pump when they did a timing chain repair. Less than a 1000 miles later, the pump was hanging by one loose bolt, with a broken flange, and now out of warranty. EVS was able to covered the repairs and get Ford to cover the parts. read more

I love this place. The pricing and service are of a level and standard that cannot be found, elsewhere. They have treated my family and myself so well, I drive 20 miles, past 2 other Ford dealerships, to get here. Ford Performance goes through here. EVS can and will get any hot Ford made. Bought a new to me truck in April 2016. The truck is a 2006 F150. Bought it with 70,000 miles. Thought we were getting a good deal... NOPE. We thought buying a truck from a dealership we would avoid buying trash. The truck needed tires which ok. We put on brand new tires. Understanding. At the end of June the trans-cooler line broke in the radiator when we were 5 hours north of our home on vacation. Had to have it towed, and got the truck back a week later. Was not running great. Took it to a ford dealership down in Milwaukee. I got an email with ten things wrong with my truck. Bad brakes, calipers, transmission issues, rusted through power steering lines. How could this truck have passed a check out. Brakes do not go in 2months of having it. This POS has cost us over 2500 in repairs and still not running right. I contacted the "manager" Ron to ask about it. Wouldn't call back etc. Said well maybe u can buy a warranty for it after it gets fixed. The damn warranty is an additional 2100$. The truck isn't worth adding an additional 2100 to the total I have paid plus all the work it needs. I bought an older explorer with 60,000 more milesfrom a mom and pop dealership last year for cash. Runs great. I will never do anything with them ever again. Horrible. read more

While we weren't successful in that, when I DID find a car, they gave it the once over,, found a few issues and made it safe for me to drive. I recently had to take my new/used car in for an oil change and emissions testing. They have a brand new building with easy in and out service. I've found my new mechanic! read more

Great people, they do what it takes to make things right and take care of their customers. Stopped in to see a truck they had listed on 9/27/18 but it had sold.I live in Saukville and Drove to Illinois to purchase a vehicle from a dealer down there on Saturday 9/28/18. I received a call from EVS on the way down that they had just got the truck I was looking for in, and ready to go. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied! Don't waste your time the salesman didn't know anything about the vehicle. I was told it had new tires, I assumed that meant all 4 not 3. They said the other one was within specs so they didn't have to change it. This is a 2014 expedition with a keypad on the door they are a new ford dealership and couldn't even tell me what the combination was for the door. I would stay away from Steve Larkin who was our salesman at least if not away from the dealership as a whole. read more

I just bought a used car here and should of taking it to a mechanic. Well I did take it to my mechanic and need new rear main seal, front seal (by timing housing), and looks like the head gasket on the closest toward the car might need replacing. Why? Because they are leaking. I'm looking at the used car check off list that I got with the car. Yep, sure they did all those checks, if they would of they would not sell this crap. Just remember 80% all used autos for sale (dealer or private party) have something wrong with them and they don't tell you! Yes, I did a car fax and everything was clean. Unsure if anyone will buy this $8k+ auto or I'll be stuck sticking $1000s into fixing it! read more

This is a true story! In June of 2015 EVS Random Lake sold me a 2006 Buick Lucerne. After less than 30 days I had issues with the cars handling/suspension and it was running extremely hot. I contacted EVS in Random Lake and they told me to bring it in. After the General Manager Steve Meinshock sat down with my wife and I he explained the 2006 Buick was sitting for quite a while and it appeared to have "lot rot", he wanted to make things right. Steve agreed to replace the rotors and front driver side tie rod free of charge. My wife and I agreed this is the least the dealership could do since they pretty much sold us a ticking time bomb! Fast forward to December of 2015. Not even 6 months after purchasing the 2006 Buick we started to have more problems with handling/suspension and the car smelled like it was burning oil and antifreeze. We go back to EVS Random Lake and talk to General Manager Steve Meinshock again. I stated I was not happy with the purchase and we would like to trade the car in for something safer and with better fuel economy. After test driving a few different cars my wife and I agreed on a 2013 Ford C-Max. Steve and the finance guy Evert explained they needed to run some numbers and would contact us the next day when they came up with the price/payment we were looking for. The next morning I receive a call from EVS Random Lake and they said everything was good. AWESOME!!! Then when I arrive to fill out the paperwork and pickup the 2013 Ford C-Max they explain they submitted the financial paperwork to the wrong bank/financial institution and that my wife and I were not approved because Evert failed to notify the bank/financial institution that 2013 Ford C-Max was part of the Ford buy back program. EVS of Random Lake also did not tell my wife or I that 2013 Ford C-Max was part of the Ford buy back program. Long story short they knowingly sold us a piece of junk lot rotted 2006 Buick, then when they had a chance to keep a customer and make things right they pretty much said we can't help you, sorry! The incompetence of the financial department (Evert) and of the General Manger (Steve) guarantees I will NOT be buying any more vehicles from EVS of Random Lake! I hope this review makes people think twice before going to EVS in Random Lake! DON'T SAY I DIDN"T WARN YOU! read more

Walked in looking to replace a vehicle in a pinch. Met a very pleasant sales person and bit on a 2013 Ford Escape. A used vehicle that was reported to me as a "Ford Executive Vehicle", it had 29,000 miles and I was informed there was no warranty remaining ( had a 36 month, 36,000 mile that had expired). No owners manual was ever furnished, and major mechanical faults surfaced within 6 months of owning the vehicle, no show of good faith was even considered. To put it bluntly a newer vehicle ended up costing me on average of an extra $100 a month in maintenance for articles that should have lasted much longer into the life of the vehicle. Moral of the story do not trust this dealership, get a warranty or ensure you make them inspect every single part. I am very disappointed with my experience and will not take any vehicle there for service or consider purchasing from them in the future. Good luck, shop with caution. read more
