I…read morebrought them the lug nuts for the replacement, and the receptionist smiled at me when I told her she must be mistaken. I took my GMC terrain to them years ago and they were supposed to replace the catalytic convertor through a special warranty as it was consuming oil. They never replaced the catalytic convertor regardless of the fact that the warranty was approved and now my truck is running into issues because of the catalytic convertor. On my recent visit they failed to replace the catalytic convertor and had the audacity to try to upsell me on brakes and tires and junk that was obviously redundant. They put in an oil treatment that was redundant and charged me $70.00 for the can which costs twelve dollars at Wal Mart. To top it all off they took my truck to Manitowoc to pick up parts and stated it was a test drive. I was charged $200.00 for a diagnostic that did not produce any results! I spent three hundred dollars at Sheboygan Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadilac so they could pick up a part for a completely different vehicle in Manitowoc and as usual my truck comes out of this place worse than it was when I took it in. Sheboygan Chevrolet is concerned about one thing and that is how much money they can bleed out of its customers. I do understand the overhead this company faces however, I can guarantee you that their profit margin FAR exceeds any overhead they may have.

Dates of interaction: December 25-26, 2025…read more I have been looking for a 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan with a heated steering wheel and have been coming up empty in the Milwaukee area. I expanded my search and looked to find several in at Van Horn Volkswagen of Sheboygan. Knowing it was Christmas morning and they would be--and should be--closed, I dashed off an email before sitting down to open presents. Shortly after I received a text message from Jerry, advising that they were closed but he could help me find what I needed. We exchanged a few texts and he again confirmed that they had what I was looking for and made a tentative appointment to come in the day after Christmas. I received a follow up text from Van Horn on 12/26 confirming the appointment and that I could put down $1,000 if I wanted to hold a car I was interested in test driving. At the same time, Josh Eynon sent me an email asking me to confirm some details about my visit, including what I might want to drink, which I thought was nice. Then I received a separate email from Chievchay with information on a particular Tiguan available. Upon reviewing the information, I saw that it didn't have a heated steering wheel. I replied to both Josh and Chievchay that my actual request seemed to be lost in the various communications, I was looking for a 2025 Tiguan with a heated steering wheel. Chievchay and I traded phone calls and when I finally got him, he appeared to be driving as the audio kept cutting out and I could hear turn signals. He finally indicated that they had no 2025 Tiguans with a heated steering wheel but should get some 2026 models with that soon. However, there is no financing deal for a 2025 so a 2026 would be significantly more expensive. Chievchay confirmed there are no incentives at this time for a 2026 model. I then asked what happened between the previous day and today when I was told they had several models of what I was looking for and Chievchay asked if I had heard from Jerry, and I confirmed. He told me that Jerry is an AI and isn't always accurate. He also seemed completely unaware that "Jerry" and I had interacted. At no point in the discussion did "Jerry" identify himself as an AI, which is definitely an ethical lapse on Van Horn's part. Chievchay was apologetic for the experience, and I do appreciate that. But ultimately this whole experience was a complete and utter waste of my time, and that to me is even worse than wasting my money as I can never get that time back.

"That's what you get when you buy a car sight unseen." We…read morepurchased a used vehicle about a month ago and had it delivered. We trusted the good reviews. We noticed right away that the car had not been detailed as they said it would be. There was dirt on the floors, in the doors, etc. But, after a day or so we noticed some damaged and missing items (including rear seat headrests!) but our texts to our sales rep (Joe) went unanswered. After finally getting through, VanHorn offered to send us the headrests, and I will update my reviews when they arrive. They would not, however, agree to repair the cracked trim piece, the loose light, or the other things not disclosed to us before purchase. In fact, we were told, "that's what you get when you buy a car sight unseen"--something to note if you're considering buying sight unseen from VanHorn.

The original experience was good with…read moreELI and Bob who helped us with our trade.. since then, however, once we left there and drove home to Brookfield Wisconsin, it had a high vibration in the steering wheel and also a rattling noise in the dash area to the left of the steering wheel. Four days later was the first time they could "get us in " on March 5 : naturally one day after the third day of being able to return, the car - My husband sat there for 4 1/2 hours with no results basically except they claimed a belt was broke in one of the tires and they had to order a new tire- considering the drive back-and-forth my husband asked if he could get a loaner and leave the car till it's fixed instead of driving back-and-forth racking up miles and planning in between working - and they had NOTHING to offer him. Long story short, the car has been at that dealership while we drive one of their Chrysler minivans ( you would think they would give us a jeep grand Cherokee or a Jeep type of loaner but instead we got a minivan) that car has been at the dealership for two weeks now as of tomorrow, March 24. Last week, Thursday, Chris the manager in service who worked on it swore that everything was taken care of with our car, they were having a shuttle driver bring it back to us and take the minivan back: husband told him do not send it here unless it is fixed or it will be coming back; First off - the shuttle car driver pulls in with our Jeep and it is disgustingly filthy! And almost has no gas in it, which my husband filled up their minivan for them. Needless to say, the rattle noise was still going on and the shuttle driver also testified that he heard it also - My husband sent straight back up to Sheboygan from Brookfield. Would you believe I have gone through nine different people who just cannot seem to get this squared away for us ?? We tried the day after my husband sat there for 4 1/2 hours and demanded we wanted to just sell the car back at that point considering we are an hour and a half away. Advised that we bought it on Saturday and we had Monday Tuesday Wednesday to return it however they would not have us come up there until that Thursday. that burned up our three days of being able to return it apparently After speaking a lengthy time to someone named Eden, he sent us to sales claiming that they would be able to make this happen. Low and behold, they absolutely REFUSED to take the car back. So now we sit here battling with them ! My husband left two voicemails there today with CHRIS in service and another voicemail in sales and nobody returned our call and it is now 5 PM, voicemails left at 7:30 this morning.. Our sales person ELI was supposed to call us back three separate occasions since it all happened and not once has he returned our calls or our requests. We have a brand new car and we have yet to be able to drive it for more than two days !!!!!!! This is absolutely unacceptable customer service !!! Never in 100 years what I suggest this place to anybody because as long as they are getting what they want from you, they are sweet as pie and boy they all must be trained really well in empathy and knowing how to say sorry and sound so concerned, but in the end, nobody really gives a S--T !!!! So here we still sit, wondering when we will get our car back. I called there at 4:50 - talk to a lady by the name of Chris - she spoke to an advisor which that's always useless who had no answers for us and of course Chris is supposed a guy working on our car was gone for the day . I asked Chris if she knew who the owner was that I could call and this is the second time we've tried to find out who the owner is and they all claimed they don't know who owns the Jeep Sheboygan Chrysler location on Washington Avenue in Sheboygan. I find that odd. No one knows the owner.????? This is the most frustrating thing we've had ever had to deal with . We are beyond frustrated!! I have been wanting to leave a review, but we have been literally kind of scared that they may mess with our car in some sort of way as a revenge tactic. However, we also don't know how the heck to even get our brand new vehicle back . Frustrated in Brookfield !!!!! D & S SHEBOYGAN CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM 2701 WASHINGTON AVE SHEBOYGAN WI

EDIT: I must change my review, reluctantly, due to my experience actually BUYING the car. Once you are sold on it, it seems the sales courtship honeymoon fades quickly. I was a assured a 3 yr 36K mile bumper to bumper warranty on this certified vehicle, only to have this company reneg and try to sell me a Honda plan 10% of the negotiated price. This statement was made in front of a witness. Andrew H, when questioned on this, seemingly went into a rehearsed rebuttal of never making that claim. As a limited income person, I didnt have the luxury of fighting at that moment. It was apparently fruitless with cronyism abound. Commonplace unethical sales: bait and switch. I am either naive or the world is just so untrustworthy you need to record every encounter when money is involved. Went through with the sale because I needed the car, planning on seeking a righteous conclusion to the sales persons blatant lie, only to, so far, have recieved a topped off gas tank "to make up for the misunderstanding." The tank holds $20 in fuel. It was another slap in the face. I will retract this if it is made right by the dealer, or will seek out help from Consumer Protections. Balls in their court. I am a fair person. This is compounded by: * $140 charge for a spare key * Loose indicator light, front driver's side, that was "going to be looked into," only to recieve the answer at the time of purchase that, "it would raise the cost of the vehicle." * Claim that an oil change was performed upon them recieving the car, only to find that it had 70% oil life left in a car requiring an oil change every 7K miles. * Despite notification of me picking the car up and asking for the car to be ready, I came with cash in hand, and it was not ready. After a long wait, they presented to me the car with a rushed detail job, and two missing floor mats. While I do like the car, what I was ACTAULLY given at time of purchase was NOT what the sales person or dealership sold me. * If I would have brought a cashier's check from US Bank, not some obscure institution, I would have had to wait to pick up my vehicle, per thier "financial office." This forced me to withdraw a LARGE sum of cash requiring "security assistance" from a friend with a CCW license to ensure I transported the money safely.
