They were super professional and fast and I felt totally at ease with Alex and his crew. For my 2 bedroom move, they sent 3 movers with a huge truck. They had wardrobe boxes I could use for my clothes, which was much appreciated. They took apart things like my table, tv stand, book shelves, etc. and wrapped everything. The movers did not speak English fluently which added to the confusion over payment and breakdown of costs. Overall the job was performed as expected but the final costs were way more than expected.

One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

First off, the entrance line extended about six cars deep into Gaffey street. On top of that, it was literally moving at a snails pace. Every time I have been here prior, and including this visit, there are 3 attendants unloading for you, always asking you to NOT get out of your vehicle. But for some reason, this visit took an exceptionally long time. 45 minutes to be exact from start to finish. I would say, don't go on a Saturday at 11:30 a.m. It's never been that time consuming before so I guess timing is everything...

We had to shuffle some big furniture pieces (cabinets, beds, sideboards, etc) around the house and called up "Eric Moves Everything" to help out. Initially, we got a quote over the phone that sounded in line for a bigger cross town move, but since this was just an inside-the-house job, I asked Eric to swing by and check out the scope himself. He came over, took a look at everything, and gave us a new quote for about 3 hours of work. He saw that I had this unassembled bed frame and adjustable bed system still in the box that needed putting together. Eric suggested his team can help with that and gave us a separate quote for assembling those pieces. We picked a Friday morning for the move, and Eric's crew, two super nice guys, showed up right on time. It took them 2.5 hours to shuffle things around and another 2 hours to assemble the adjustable bed and bed frame assembly, which was at a different rate. Everything was mostly perfect, but I did notice a few dings and nicks on the furniture and some scuffs at the doorways. Not a huge deal, but something to note for next time - a bit more care would've been appreciated so I don't have to go back and repatch and repaint the gouges in my casings and walls. Despite that, I'm giving these guys a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. They were good solid movers, knew their stuff, and got the job done. Definitely calling them up again if I need more moving magic! read more

They were fast, reasonably priced and on time. And super nice throughout the day. They are keenly aware of how stressful moving is for their customers. They worked hard to make us feel relaxed while they worked, although still a crazy day. Think they thought it was going to be a bit shorter than it was, but they powered through. If you're looking for pricey movers who will plastic wrap everything they touch, these guys may not be for you. However, this move consisted of thousands of books and several large bookcases, plus a few pieces of furniture and boxes I'd already retrieved from my storage unit. Eric and his crew were fantastic. My move with Steve's company, Pacific Packing and Moving went very well! I had a really tough move…read moreas I live up 3 flights of steps, I have a lot of stuff, and tons of artwork that needed careful wrapping and handling. I ended up having a 2-day move. Steve and his assistants were so funny and they were quick and professional. I loved listening to them joke around in their Caribbean patois. It made the move more entertaining! When it was time to unload at the storage unit, I watched steve load many dollies, 4 wheelers, and carts with the experience of a master jenga player. He knew how to load each with a max of things that was easy to roll without anything falling off. I was super impressed. Inside my storage unit, things were packed in very well so that they left me a lot of room for me move around in between the boxes inside while the placements of everything in there made great sense. I highly recommend this company.

Yes please! 3 guys showed up with a big truck and they moved things rather quickly, wrapped everything really well, and didn't break anything. They put everything at our destination in the room we wanted it placed. Very polite & nice, great service.

First they sent a handyman to our home to check broken furniture then told us they will fix all in next week but Unfortunately no one showed up and fix our furniture. What they did was keep rescheduling to send a handyman back but actually they didn't have any plan to send a handyman to fix. No one showed up for fix the day we had an appointment so We called All Star moving again.. Guess What. HE HUNG UP on us. I can't believe that. Not professional Business. Few weeks later, we called back. a lady answered phone and she didn't know anything and tried help us BUT again her Boss Sam. He said Covid handyman don't want to go people home now (we understand that) so instead of going to fix they will pay to us broken furniture by lbs. They asked us to research furniture weights and send to All star Moving so We researched our three of furniture weight (yes 3 furniture are damage and broken) and sent. Sam said he will research too and he will give us his research weights following the week. Guess what's. After this conversation they Never answered our phone calls( we called so many times), never responded emails. No one calls us, still No one come fix. There is no sincerity at all. Worst business never seen. Be aware if you hire this company and if they broken your furniture, they WON'T/DON'T take any their responsibility at all. Very bad business. That's why we don't recommend this company.
