I was recommended this place by a medical supplies store as this Orthopedics Store supplies them their flyers. The store admitted they actually had no idea how good the Orthopedic really was but he seemed nice and comes in all the time. I finally decided to call and make an appointment. I came in for my appointment, read and signed my forms but was alarmed at the fee. I was just thrown off as the receptionist had never informed me on our call, when I asked her if I needed to bring anything other than my covid mask. While sitting in the chair waiting, I am observing to see the customers walking out of the office weren't making a purchase, but were asked to pay a $40 fee. Basically you walk in that door it's not free. None of the customers left looking satisfied, happy and looked like they had wasted their time still needed help. Couple of the customers were told to go to another location. There was an senior lady window shopping wanting to look for a good pair of orthopedic shoes and slippers. She was in the store for over 20minutes. I gave up sitting in the chair seeing watching the employees ignore her as they were chatting away. She ended up not buying anything from them and as well not from the Orthopedics. She said their prices are too expensive and the shoes don't feel comfortable enough. The atmosphere in the waiting room is extremely tense and feels worse than waiting to see a dentist or being in the principal office. Staff is tense, unfriendly, and you can tell they wanna be somewhere else but near you. The employees don't even say hello nor welcome the customers who are browsing. Customers can't or won't buy shoes due to the lack of customer service in the store. Getting assistance is nearly impossible when the women employees are more concerned about the latest gossip than what customers' needs are; ruining the store atmosphere. I Was in the chair for over 2 hours, my appointment was more than an hour behind and no one informed me my appointment was going to be that late. In result of their carelessness I almost missed my ride. I am still trying to figure out what the 40$ fee is for. There is no information. You get nothing out of it! But if you pay 250$ on one of their not great products than the fee is waived! You stand up and that it! a little measure and voila-40$ But the Orthopedic is not 100 an idiot but he could do more. He did tell me I could better benefit from a combination pair of shoes so we agreed and price seemed fair. Its been more than a couple months not even a call. I am under the impression that the shoes are stuck in the North Pole. After all the hassle and what I been through I am glad they never called. I also bought two pairs of shoes in store. I have a few near falls/slips from lack of grip on my shoes I was sold for. as he told me they be great and the comfort is not great! Can only be worn for limited time. with extreme caution. Slippers were not properly sized so my money got wasted! Learn from me if a medical person got a flyer and never experience themselves- I have personally experienced- go to a different store and save the $$$ and hassle! read more
