The best part is that they are professional, communicative, and you can tell they aspire to high quality all around in their operations. I'll be coming to them next time I need a repair or upgrade. They were pleasant and professional and we exchanged a bit of humor over the phone and in person. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.

I was told to leave the phone charging for several hours and not to use it, which already seemed unusual, but I followed the instructions. The next morning (4/8/26), the phone would not turn on at all. I went back to the shop right when the listed opening time said they would be open, but the store was closed. I ended up waiting and coming back multiple times, and the business did not open until after 2 PM. This made it very difficult to get timely help. When I finally spoke with the technician, he examined the phone and told me that there had been a short circuit. However, he did not take responsibility for the issue and instead tried to explain it in a way that suggested it wasn't related to the repair. I requested a refund for the battery replacement service since the phone was no longer working after the visit. Initially, there was resistance, but I was eventually refunded $66. Overall, the experience involved poor communication, long delays in opening hours, and a repair that resulted in my phone no longer functioning. I ultimately had to replace my phone. I recommend asking detailed questions about repair policies, turnaround time, and warranty before using this service.

I quickpay a deposit and on Tuesday - their listed number goes straight to voicemail all day. It is now Wednesday and I still couldnt get anyone to answer to the phone. I figured hey - maybe they are super busy so I drove over there - and despite yelp saying they are open - they were not. Save your time and hard earned money and go elsewhere!

    TechCity (Park Ridge) - Disappointing experience…read more I brought my son's Lenovo ThinkPad in for a hinge repair estimate and clearly explained at drop-off that it was urgent since he was returning to college on January 19 and needed it back ASAP. Despite that, I didn't hear anything for nearly two weeks. When they finally contacted me, communication was very disorganized. Different techs called at different times, but none seemed aware of previous conversations, and I had to keep repeating the situation. At one point, I was told they didn't realize I needed it back quickly -- even though I explicitly stated that when I dropped it off. The delay and lack of coordination made an already stressful situation worse. I was expecting professional, timely service, especially after clearly communicating the urgency, but unfortunately that wasn't my experience. I did ask to speak to the owner and was told "he isn't available." If you need fast, organized turnaround, you may want to look elsewhere.
