I have been going to Era salon for years. All of the stylists there are amazing! I lOVE my stylist Lauren! I can't say enough good things about her. My cut and color are perfect every single visit. Sid Humphreys is definitely one of the best hair stylists I have ever met. I am very picky about hair stylists, but he is absolutely knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Most of the time I have had wonderful experience at Era. Kayla was great, but she moved to California, then I had service with Vanessa and she moved to another state too... But now I found Sid and I know I am in very good hands... Btw I want to say a huge compliment to the managing staff. First of all, let's be real. At heart, I'm a no make up, stained yoga pants, flip flops kind of girl. To my absolute HORROR, I went home prior to appt to find my eldest dog in a pool of BLOOD. I had to rush him to emergency vet where they told me had I got him there any later he would've died. Era called to see if I could still make the appt & I told them I was at the emergency vet, thus missing the appt entirely. The stylist, Lauren, text messaged me later saying she "understands I have a lot going on but doesn't think we'd be a good match moving forward" because she's CONSTANTLY BUSY. How unprofessional & INSENSITIVE of a response given an emergency such as this. I would hope upper management trains their employees better than this. I had every intent on making that appt. but will not go back given the response of the stylist. read more

This salon is extremely clean, modern, sleek, and affordable. Veronica is the stylist who does my color now & I love her. She does a fantastic job & is so friendly and personable. Customer service is also great, everyone is always friendly & welcoming & I always have a good laugh when I'm in there. I saw Bridgette for my color and Darlene for my cut and they both did a great job! Bridgette was able to to recommend my color based on my skin tone vs just doing the first photo I showed her on Pinterest. Prime example of a high end salon with poor stylist. Stylist attitude from the start was negative and not inviting. I was a few min late and had called in to ask if that was ok to which they said yes. I sat in the chair and explained what kind of hair I have and what needed to be done. Her response was "we will see what can be done with the time." Again, poor light on her part. I wanted to get up and leave at that point. But I gave her a chance. Her cut was basic. No attention to the fact that there needed to be proper blending and texturizing. I had to go get another cut to fix my layers. I still decided to give her a tip so she could use it to fund her knowledge on different types of hair, textures and learn some additional skills. And grow out of being basic. read more

I asked if I could go under the dryer, which is why I decided to try this salon, because of their traditional dryers. My stylist put me under the dryer for five minutes and my hair looked terrible.
