I have been getting my hair done here for years and I have never had anything but a STELLAR experience. Tanya is a color Queen . You may think you know what color you want your hair to be, but Tanya knows better. I have complete trust that whatever she does is going to be LIT. Lila cuts my hair and does my blowouts and she is also phenomenal. She always takes her time to get things perfect and even taught me how to blow out my own hair! Who does that? I can now curl and blow out my hair because of Lisa's generosity. The vibes here are . Sometimes you'll even catch Tanya and Ty's adorable pug/Frenchie mix hanging out in the shop. I left another review... guess they decide not telling the truth and calling the customer a liar is the way to go instead of saying hey sorry we turned your hair green, and yea you got a text in our system but go away no appointment.... Please read the other reviews. I don't think I left the name of the new salon in the description trying to be nice. Definitely go to Osgood O'Neil Salon. I was trying to leave them some business, but if they are making up that I used bad language as they kicked me out the door, and Ty said "get the h*** out" to me - gloves are off as they say!!! I am a very respected educator and would never do what they are saying. Again, free wine and champagne, tea whatever you want at the new place! I am WAY more blonde they cover more for way less money from my wallet and with better products. My hair is so soft. The experience was so traumatic at J Grace I was washing my hair in a bowl hoping it didn't turn green. My new stylist still can't believe they lifted my hair and gave me a purple product causing it to be green. I will say at home it was less noticeable ... and I called and said maybe in a week could we fix it, then when I got to work it was against my company dress code and my boss said something. When I called back the second time after I realized it was worse under work lights for a fix they were mean rather than nice when it was 100 percent their fault according to the new salon! Okay, so of course I didn't want my job to be at risk. I will also say proof is the new place has 2 very nice salons and may be getting another. They are not losing business and nor downsized. You feel so good in their state is of the are modern building at the new place. Glad the trauma is over! read more

I don't even live in town but I still come to J Grace salon to get my hair cut anytime I am in town- Tye is super meticulous whenever it comes to cutting and styling hair which is exactly what I needed. It's a reasonably priced place especially for Dallas- they offer diffused water, wine, etc. for their clients. My only complaint is parking can be difficult so just make sure that you incorporate more time for that. Everyone who works here is super friendly. Their bathroom is stocked with all the essentials of what you would need. They have a separate blow out bar and hair products. Highly recommend!! read more

I have very thick, wavy hair. It took me 25 years to find Ty, but praise the Lord I did. Not only has he managed my waves, but for the last 2 years, he's styled me through complete baldnees back to long hair. With hair like mine, avoiding the "stuck my finger in a light socket" look is one helluva task. But he did it. He managed to avoid all awkward stages of the grow out. I love Tanya for color. Better than anyone else I've ever had the experience of using. I have horrible brass undertones, but Tanya took me from darkest brown to platinum blonde with no damage or weird colors in between. I now have the best ombre you've ever seen. Ever. She does such a fantastic job, even between visits, I don't look like I have roots. This was my first time at this salon, was never told or advised by the front desk that I needed to book a separate service for a blow dry, once my color retouch was complete. I found out the hard way, my hair was wet, and was told and the time of service the salon was fully booked. It seems like they are short on staff. The receptionist was not friendly at all, not a smile, she seemed a little robotic. Also finding parking was very difficult, there is a garage but it's a super busy shopping strip. read more

I can't imagine going to anyone else with the results I get from them both along with the price.
