Ed Baisley helped me solve a landscaping issue. I had stones around my patio and a new puppy that would eat the stones. we cleared out the stones and replaced them with pavers. To further enhance the patio Ed suggested curb stone to finish the look. It turned out great. Ed's Team was also great, worked hard and finished the job (except for the rain day) in 2 days. I had a rather large job done by ER Baisley Tree and Landscape in July 2024. From the start of the site review and bid it was all an excellent experience. Ed and his team responded quickly to my request for quote and scheduled the job effiently. Ed helped engage my neighbors so we could get all the work done. He committed to the job, scheduled it and cleaned up as per all of his commitments. All of my neighbors complimented his work, Ed and his team had great communication and went above and beyond to make sure the job was 100% satisfactory. We hired Mr. Baisley for two jobs. One was a landscaping job, fixing up some garden beds and fertilizing our lawn. We have no reference point for how much this cost, so we agreed to his price. He said that once I cut the grass, the guys could come start the work. I informed Mr. Baisley that the grass was cut and I asked him to please let me know when his guys would be coming because a) we have a toddler, and b) we're currently teaching from home and our schedules are a little erratic. He said OK, then we never heard from him. A few days later, his guys show up without notice and start working. The guys who work for Mr. Baisley were wonderfully professional and did a great job with the gardens. However, they left huge piles of leaves and brush in our front and back yards. We figured that maybe they were going to lunch and would be back. At 7:30 that night, I text Baisley and ask whether his guys would be picking up the brush and leaves. He said the next morning. Following day, they pick up the leaves, but leave the brush behind. I give them a few hours, then text again. He says they'd be back that night. They came back, but why do I need to repeatedly ask when a routine part of the job will be done??? But wait...there's more... We also received an estimate that first day for taking down a large oak that was in danger of soon falling (on our shed and/or house). The tree is in a difficult spot, but he said nothing about that at the time. A few days later, while responding to my request to be told when the workers would come, he says that they'd need to remove a bush on the side of the house to get to the tree. I send 2 labeled pictures asking which one needs to be removed and never hear back. 4 days later I text AGAIN and he says they'd be by the following week. When they finally do show up (unexpectedly as I stated above), I ask him about the tree. He says they need to pull a crane up along side the house on our neighbor's grass. I tell him that there is a sewer line under the grass there and it can't bear that weight. He insists that it won't damage anything and it's the only way to get the job done. After this, we received 3 other estimates for the tree and all of them said that they could do the job without removing a bush and without parking on the sewer line. We eventually hired a different company, who was even charging $600 less than Baisley for the job to be done! After all that, once we dropped him for the tree service he said we needed to pay an extra $225 to have the leaves removed since that part was not originally agreed upon. WE NEVER ASKED YOU TO REMOVE LEAVES!!! THAT WAS SOMETHING YOU DID THAT WE DIDN'T SAY WE WANTED!!! Just to get rid of him, we paid him the extra. We figured it's a small price to pay to never have to see him again. I would not recommend this company. As stated, the guys who work for Baisley are wonderful. The boss is a terrible communicator, overpriced, and not worth the time and effort it takes to get a straight answer (or any answer). Please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere! read more

Do not waste your time on this company unless you enjoy grumpy old men. I contacted Mr Baisley to come and look at a townhouse complex that has trees down from a storm. He stated he is familiar with the development. When I started to show him the trees that are behind the townhouses, his response was how am I getting a truck down there. I explained that he couldn't. He said that he's not hiring someone to haul the wood up from behind the houses. Remember he said he knew the development, EVERY townhouse has trees behind not in front. He then yelled out his window "That's why no one will work in here." I already have companies doing work. I was hoping for a third to get it come quicker. read more

Couldn't be happier with the results I got from ER Baisley Tree Sand Landscape. I have an active 3 1/2 year old and an August storm left a precariously hanging limb hanging over one of her play areas. ER Baisley Tree and Landscape did an outstanding job for us. In and out in 4 hours: Three trees and half a dozen or more DEADLY dead limbs. Bring on the ice storms! read more

I would not recommend this landscaper. If you have a problem with something, the owner becomes very difficult to deal with.

We left money for firewood at our home for a Brian Baisley, not sure if he is related, but the money was taken and no firewood delivered and now he doesnt answer his phone. Please beware!!! read more
