Great spot just right on the edge of Fort Mason! Located kind of hidden away and we stopped by because my friend lives in the area and she's been meaning to try it because it's so close. Super nice baristas and super cute storefront. Their bags of coffee smell delightful. They have a Habibi latte which is their specialty! Will definitely make sure to try that next time I'm in the area. Only thing I could remember is that I think there's a pretty big size difference between the regular and the large (doesn't seem standard (?) like a regular is pretty small and the large is pretty big.) read more

Great location and great coffee. I'm a big fan of the Habibi latte and get it almost every time. Highly recommend ordering ahead on the app as they're always busy (especially Friday mornings!). wanted to come here just because of the views of the golden gate bridge. First most, parking in front of the establishment is very limited, but if you keep driving down the area you will find more public parking spots, some free, some where you have to pay. It's not much of a walk, so it would be a good pace to stroll around and feel the nice breeze of san francisco. During my visit i decided to order the maple walnut latte, it was pretty good and standard and did taste like walnut. I also got other drinks for my family including: chocolate shakerato, which was sweet, frothy and thick. And as well as a regular cappuccino, which was pretty tasty as well. The line was not too long, and went by pretty quick. The cashier was very nice and welcoming and made sure we ordered the right item. There are a lot of seats but do get taken up pretty quickly. Ordered an iced chai latte with almond milk and it was so wonderful. We also tried the regular iced latte with oat milk and it was great. The chocolate zucchini bread was pretty nice, there were lots of other pastries that also caught my eye. The coffee beans here are some of the best in the city- it's my preferred bean to use at home. Went here after going to the West Coast Craft Fair on a Sunday. The line was sort of short, since it usually is out the door and wraps around. About 7 people ahead of me. Wait time to order a single drink - 10 mins, wait time to get my drink - 20 mins. Kind of ridiculous wait time for coffee. My order was the seasonal fall iced latte, it was very tasty. Needed a quick mid-day coffee and stumbled upon this small shop per my friend's recommendation. My friend and I were actually around during the San Francisco Coffee Festival (plus the weekly farmer's market) this year at Fort Mason. It seems to be a very touristy/popular area, so we waited in line for quite sometime (unclear if this is the usual OR if it was due to the area being busy with a few events). The shop itself is quite small, but they do have regular merch and coffee for sale up front. I ordered a Habibi Latte because I like creative, funky coffee flavors. I usually enjoy this equator however on Saturday I waited over an hour for my matcha latte. After 45 minutes I asked them the ETA and they hadn't even accepted my DoorDash order so I hadn't been added to the queue. I then watched one of their workers ( a woman with curly black and green hair) blow her nose, wipe it with her fingers and then make food items without washing her hands. You just never know whether they are going to ACCEPT order via the app or NOT ACCEPT order via the app and that IS THE QUESTION. I am fine placing an order and waiting based on how busy they are. As my local, this Fort Mason gatehouse store has a special place in my heart. There's lots of outdoor seating with shade umbrellas, and a long row of bar seating facing the window. There's a unisex restroom for customers. Benches outside have hooks for dog leashes and water bowls to keep Fido hydrated. More often than not I just get brewed coffee, but the specialty drinks are always exceptional and unique. I love the shakerato, which is espresso and cream shaken with chipped ice, then strained and served with giant ice cubes. Delicious AND f.a.n.c.y. I am not a fan of big corporate coffee if you know what I mean, and I know Equator Coffees & Teas is not exactly your mom and pop local coffee shop, but I will take them over any of the other big guys anytime! Came here this past Saturday for the West Coast Craft fair and I got an iced vanilla latte. Coffee was excellent, strong and sweet but not overwhelmingly so. A sign said that the wait would be 20+ min after ordering but my coffee was ready in less than 5 minutes despite the line being out the door and many online orders! Staff was very friendly. Menu had a lot of options for both coffee drinkers and non coffee drinkers. I did not order a pastry but they looked good and fresh. There isn't a ton of indoor seating, but there are benches outside. This is a great option to grab some coffee and take a stroll along the Marina or Ft. Mason, but not a great spot to hang out in or get work done. Will be returning! read more

We went on a Sunday in the afternoon. This coffee shop is right next to the Fort Mason farmer's market so we wanted to check it out. Line was pretty long as usual so I wanted to check out what the hype was all about. Pretty nice environment - there is outdoor seating and it's close to Crissy Field so you can walk over there and enjoy a nice cup of coffee while looking at the Bay / Golden Gate Bridge. I got the batch coffee 16 ounces. It was pretty solid. I'm no coffee connoisseur but you could taste some nutty and bitter notes throughout. Nothing too remarkable though. read more

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and told us all about the coffee beans available to buy and take home. They have an extensive selection including some single-origin beans on rotation. They have a smooth and safe ordering process in place with COVID restrictions, and you can also order online and pick it up.
