One of my favorite coffee shops! The ambiance is warm and inviting, and there's plenty of parking, which makes it convenient to visit. Seating is somewhat limited, both indoors and outdoors, but it's usually worth it. The service can be a bit inconsistent, though it's generally good overall. The food and coffee are both excellent and keep me coming back.

Service always friendly, solid amount of seating. i actually like that they dont give you a lid& you can choose whichever lid you want for your beverage at the bar area where all the napkins are. So far ive had the black cherry matcha & banana cream cold brew, both were pretty good.

    1/2 hour wait, ridiculous

Updated back to five stars. There was no wait yesterday at 12:30 pm on a Sunday. My food and drinks came out within five minutes. We had two croissants and two drinks $20.50 and anticipated the wait to be around 30 minutes like usual. If you see a crowd of people waiting, walk out and go somewhere else. It won't be fast. The long wait times are due to mismanagement. It is not the workers' fault.

I had a winter seasonal iced coffee here once and it was eh, but the banana matcha cloud was soooooo good. It was more of a banana bread matcha instead of just banana. It's seasonal, but I wish it was year round! Service was fine and the ambiance is okay. The drink was $8 which is unfortunately kind of normal nowadays.

I like Equator coffee... I'm happy this location opened. Waiting this past Sunday was rough considering it was Mother's Day morning. They have good quality coffee beans and coffee. The selection of pastries is always a plus. I love the merch offered as well, almost bought a corduroy hat for the hubs. Overall Equator is a coffee spot I've returned to time and time again. It's not a daily occurrence but definitely worth the intermittent times during the year. Nice to go out on a sunny day with the coffee and pastries take a walk and sit by the water out nearby.

This coffee shop location is pretty random. It's nestled right in a Meta campus but it's open to the public! There was a parking lot right next to the shop so we went and parked there. There's not a ton of seating inside so don't go bringing large parties. Perhaps this shop is more of a grab and go type shop. They have 10 oz and 16 oz drinks but the 16 oz is only like $0.50 more which I was dumb and didn't realize. The 16 oz is a better deal! I got an 10oz mocha and I thought it was pretty good! The drink is nice and creamy. I didn't adjust the default sweetness and thought it was good, not too sweet but enough for me! My spouse got the brown butter caramel latte. He liked it! I thought it was a bit too sweet for me but he really liked the drink. It kind of reminded me of butterbeer from Harry Potter world. They do have a lot of merch available like coffee beans, socks, hats, stickers etc!

This Equator has been my staple. While this one doesnt have the views of Golden Gate Bridge, you do get a nice waterfront view of the Bay Trail and plane landings. There are some seating inside and outside. Drinks are generally on point, it could be a hit or miss on the seasonal, but mostly a hit. If you're not in for a giant cup to sip on, try their shakerato, its like an iced cortado. I used to get their lavender latte often, but havent seen that on their menu. For a coffee shop, their matcha isn't too bad. Ive heard great things about their frittata sandwich, have yet to try it. Oh and they have free equator jaguar stickers at the counter!

Equator Coffees continues to prove that coffee can be both art and ritual, especially when it comes with a perfectly poured cappuccino. I ordered a cappuccino (see photo), the latte art deserves its own fan club! And it was as smooth and balanced as ever. A mix of creamy foam, bold espresso, and that signature Equator richness that makes you smile after the first sip. As usual the service was top notch, space was filled with the cutest pups, what a joy!

It was our first time visiting the city and came across this little gem as we explored the golden gate state bridge. Very busy place. So many people from so many places it was beautiful watching everyone converse. We ordered two drinks a hot vanilla latte and an iced vanilla latte as well as a ham croissant. Everything was amazing!!! Despite them not warming up the ham croissant it still was very tasty. Over all great experience.

    Utensil area, dog treats

This was my first time trying Equator Coffee, even though I've heard great things about the chain around the Bay Area--and I think it lived up to the hype! There are a few designated parking spots around the corner, which made things easier given how busy the area gets (especially being so close to the Meta offices). Inside, the space is somewhat limited seating, but that's to be expected at a popular spot like this. I ordered a specialty latte for March 2025 and really enjoyed it--smooth and flavorful. If you ask for light ice (as I always do on chilly days), they won't fill the drink to the top, which felt a little underwhelming. A sweet touch I noticed: they keep dog treats at the counter near the sugar and utensils station, which I thought was super thoughtful for pet parents passing through. Looking forward to coming back to try a pastry or food item next time!

    Iced Caramelized Banana Latte

Accidentally stumbled across this place on a day out and decided to give it a try. It's a pretty small space and busy but I didn't mind, it was the weekend so I expected it to be a little busy. I ordered the iced caramelized banana latte and it was really good. I'm not sure if all drinks come unsweetened but they have a station of sugar, cream, and syrups so you can adjust it to your liking. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm out here!

The coffee was pretty good! I like the veggie frittata! The views are really why I like this location. The service was pretty good and will definitely return.

Matcha latte with strawberry cold foam
    Jasmine W.

I came here Saturday afternoon, quick order but took forever to get probably like 15 mins not worth it at all! The cold foam with the matcha was good but without the cold foam the matcha was bland highly don't recommend. The avocado toast was a huge disappointment. The staff is very bored like they'd rather be anywhere but there so overall it's a really negative experience. Not a coffee shop happy mood place! Go anywhere else!

Good coffee, good food, and good service. but the indoor space is limited. It's close to meta's office and the trail along the bay.

Coffee is decent, ambience is mid. WiFi is unreliable. If you're looking to do some work on the weekends - this isn't it.

I've driven by this place a hundred times and there's almost always a line of 20-30 people outside…read more This morning I decided to wait in that line. Super funny that the couple behind me commented that they go here all the time and there's never a line. After about a 40 minute wait, I got to the cashier at around 10:20am. Half the pastries like the ube brioche were already out so I opted for just the lattes. I played it safe and got the Tahitian vanilla latte. I will say that it's good quality coffee. Didn't need to add sugar. It didn't come super hot though so as I took it away, I downed it pretty fast! I got my mom and aunt the ice latte version of the black sesame and the brown sugar. Sounds like both were good as well. The black sesame wasn't sweet, which was to my aunt's liking. Inside, it's very clean and not crowded. What helped is that there is a sign that tells the people in line that only 6 people at a time should line up inside. If I have the time, I'd line back up. 4.5/5 stars, but I'll round up.

Came here at 830am ish on a Friday…read more Not sure what all the hype is for this place, so had to check it out for myself! Since it was so early, street parking was pretty easy on el camino. There was a sign that said only 6 ppl could wait inside to order, but I already counted 8 so figured they weren't enforcing it yet. Unfortunately, right when it was my turn to order, they ran out of beans and had to dial in a new batch. That alone added at least 30-40 minutes between waiting to order, and waiting for the coffee to come out. We got the caramel miso latte and the black sesame latte with an ube brioche. Can't say I loved either latte, nor the brioche. Everything was just decent. I was more impressed with how many ppl came here! I did enjoy seeing the baristas at work though. I'd say if you got here at even 850am, be prepared for a long wait. Can be even longer depending on whether they need to dial in new beans. Definitely not a good place to get a quick coffee before work.

I stopped in front of their coffee shop and run back forth saying that my baby is sleeping, let me know when it is ready. So the cook bought my sandwich to the car even though I didn't ask for that. Awwww as postpartum mama who did not have her breakfast and coffee at 11am, I was so touched by their excellent service! Coffee was so smooth and my sandwich like my grandma did - so yummy! But dang it....I paid nearly $11 for a Good Morning Burrito (ham, eggs, tots, a ton of cheese) that was only the length of my iPhone 14. Great taste but I was hungry still. Plus I wish it had come with some sort of salsa. There was a hot sauce bottle, bulk size, that was almost empty so I said meh. A homemade salsa would be a nice touch. My daughter got a vegetarian omlette which was basically a mushroom omlette. That seemed a good size but basic mushrooms and they had a side of spinach with some sort of dressing which I was sure was just mayo. There were a sad four tots on the side. She didn't like her matcha latte and my Vietnamese coffee lacked kick. They are well situated to serve the area and clearly have regular business. For that younger tech crowd across at Sony this seemed like a spot for them to pound away at their laptops while drinking boba and listening to lo-fi jazz.

If you have read any of my reviews you know that's exactly what I did!!!! I LOVE THIS!! All of the pastries look Devine, I'm eating clean.. They really look good! Lots of beautiful layers, coffee cakes were topped with a good portion of flavorful crumb.. ALMOST MADE NE WANT TO TASTE... but I didn't! Nor do they have outdoor seating! Lol spatial problems?! Oh well! Anyways, this place had a number of tables inside as well as outside, and there was a younger gentleman as the cashier as a Lady barista with amazing tattoos, was assisting him!! Hee In all honesty, I was rather surprised when I was speaking to the young gentleman because he was quite honest about having not tried the pumpkin chocolate chip coffee cake. He turned to the Lady barista and she said she was quite honest and said she did not like pumpkin, but had tried it and it tasted too much like pumpkin for her. Lol I love pumpkin and don't like chocolate!! So she told me I would probably love the coffee cake!! She was right!!! It was around lunchtime, so I figured I would also get a chicken empanada, and I was so surprised when I placed my order for a regular cup of coffee, pumpkin, coffee cake, and a chicken empanada that the younger gentleman brought it right out to me at my table!! Most coffee houses I go to just yell my name or ticket number! Lol but the sincerity behind remembering who ordered which item specially, since I gave no name, gave me a feeling of special or personable gratitude feeling!! As if they were really trying to get to know each individual Customer!! As I sat and watched part of the soccer game, I noticed a number of patrons were also smiling and cheering on the game, but quietly amongst themselves at each individual table! Still polite and coffeehouse, appropriate, as I was able to do my own work at my table and enjoy my lunch! Overall, I sat here for about two hours, and I noticed how both barista and cashier were younger maybe college age people and they spoke to each individual customer!! I heard a customer greet the barista by name, Jonathan, and I missed the barista's name, but she had a number of beautiful tattoos!! I was rather surprised since they spoke to each customer with such sincerity!! There's definitely a different type of Customerservice at this adorable little shop!! This was my first time ever coming here, and I basically swung by because they said they had gluten-free items and I'm trying to be better in my own lifestyle! I loved the pumpkin coffee cake, my cup of coffee as well as the empanada!! You made a true fan out of me! I will definitely be back here again and again!!
