One of my favorite coffee shops! The ambiance is warm and inviting, and there's plenty of parking, which makes it convenient to visit. Seating is somewhat limited, both indoors and outdoors, but it's usually worth it. The service can be a bit inconsistent, though it's generally good overall. The food and coffee are both excellent and keep me coming back.
I was visiting the area for work and found Equator coffee within walking distance of my hotel. The vibe is really laid back and friendly. There are lots of seating options both inside and out. The servers chat with the customers and you get the sense that there are a lot of regulars that get to know the staff. I was disappointed with the coffee. When I travel for work, I typically order espresso drinks for my morning coffee because the drip coffee is unpredictable. With espresso, you expect a dark roasted bean with a rich flavor. Unfortunately, I think they are using light or medium roasted beans for their espresso because the espresso was quite bitter (even in a cappuccino). That said, I came back each morning I was in the area. The seating area is so pleasant and the bay air can't be beat!
Service always friendly, solid amount of seating. i actually like that they dont give you a lid& you can choose whichever lid you want for your beverage at the bar area where all the napkins are. So far ive had the black cherry matcha & banana cream cold brew, both were pretty good.
This coffee shop location is pretty random. It's nestled right in a Meta campus but it's open to the public! There was a parking lot right next to the shop so we went and parked there. There's not a ton of seating inside so don't go bringing large parties. Perhaps this shop is more of a grab and go type shop. They have 10 oz and 16 oz drinks but the 16 oz is only like $0.50 more which I was dumb and didn't realize. The 16 oz is a better deal! I got an 10oz mocha and I thought it was pretty good! The drink is nice and creamy. I didn't adjust the default sweetness and thought it was good, not too sweet but enough for me! My spouse got the brown butter caramel latte. He liked it! I thought it was a bit too sweet for me but he really liked the drink. It kind of reminded me of butterbeer from Harry Potter world. They do have a lot of merch available like coffee beans, socks, hats, stickers etc!
Updated back to five stars. There was no wait yesterday at 12:30 pm on a Sunday. My food and drinks came out within five minutes. We had two croissants and two drinks $20.50 and anticipated the wait to be around 30 minutes like usual. If you see a crowd of people waiting, walk out and go somewhere else. It won't be fast. The long wait times are due to mismanagement. It is not the workers' fault.
I had a winter seasonal iced coffee here once and it was eh, but the banana matcha cloud was soooooo good. It was more of a banana bread matcha instead of just banana. It's seasonal, but I wish it was year round! Service was fine and the ambiance is okay. The drink was $8 which is unfortunately kind of normal nowadays.
I like Equator coffee... I'm happy this location opened. Waiting this past Sunday was rough considering it was Mother's Day morning. They have good quality coffee beans and coffee. The selection of pastries is always a plus. I love the merch offered as well, almost bought a corduroy hat for the hubs. Overall Equator is a coffee spot I've returned to time and time again. It's not a daily occurrence but definitely worth the intermittent times during the year. Nice to go out on a sunny day with the coffee and pastries take a walk and sit by the water out nearby.
This Equator has been my staple. While this one doesnt have the views of Golden Gate Bridge, you do get a nice waterfront view of the Bay Trail and plane landings. There are some seating inside and outside. Drinks are generally on point, it could be a hit or miss on the seasonal, but mostly a hit. If you're not in for a giant cup to sip on, try their shakerato, its like an iced cortado. I used to get their lavender latte often, but havent seen that on their menu. For a coffee shop, their matcha isn't too bad. Ive heard great things about their frittata sandwich, have yet to try it. Oh and they have free equator jaguar stickers at the counter!
Equator Coffees continues to prove that coffee can be both art and ritual, especially when it comes with a perfectly poured cappuccino. I ordered a cappuccino (see photo), the latte art deserves its own fan club! And it was as smooth and balanced as ever. A mix of creamy foam, bold espresso, and that signature Equator richness that makes you smile after the first sip. As usual the service was top notch, space was filled with the cutest pups, what a joy!
This was my first time trying Equator Coffee, even though I've heard great things about the chain around the Bay Area--and I think it lived up to the hype! There are a few designated parking spots around the corner, which made things easier given how busy the area gets (especially being so close to the Meta offices). Inside, the space is somewhat limited seating, but that's to be expected at a popular spot like this. I ordered a specialty latte for March 2025 and really enjoyed it--smooth and flavorful. If you ask for light ice (as I always do on chilly days), they won't fill the drink to the top, which felt a little underwhelming. A sweet touch I noticed: they keep dog treats at the counter near the sugar and utensils station, which I thought was super thoughtful for pet parents passing through. Looking forward to coming back to try a pastry or food item next time!
It was our first time visiting the city and came across this little gem as we explored the golden gate state bridge. Very busy place. So many people from so many places it was beautiful watching everyone converse. We ordered two drinks a hot vanilla latte and an iced vanilla latte as well as a ham croissant. Everything was amazing!!! Despite them not warming up the ham croissant it still was very tasty. Over all great experience.
Brown Butter Caramel Latte 7/10! Pretty good. I just wish they had a better DoorDash/Delivery consumer protective system. My coffee came with no protection over the sip part of the lid. There should be atleast something to cover to reassure my drink wasn't altered by anyone or anything during delivery :)
I came here Saturday afternoon, quick order but took forever to get probably like 15 mins not worth it at all! The cold foam with the matcha was good but without the cold foam the matcha was bland highly don't recommend. The avocado toast was a huge disappointment. The staff is very bored like they'd rather be anywhere but there so overall it's a really negative experience. Not a coffee shop happy mood place! Go anywhere else!

I've been wanting to stop by an Equator Coffee shop for awhile now. When I was passing by the area on the way to Daly City from the East Bay, I added it to my stops! This shop is located in the Meta buildings at Burlingame Point, right by the water and Bay Trail. It's still open to the public and there's plenty of parking in the area (though none directly out front so expect a short walk). The shop itself has some tables inside and outside and I would expect that it'd get busy during meal times on the weekdays. In fact, I saw that they even have a sign prepared that would note how long the wait time is for drinks/food (in true Disneyland fashion). On an early Saturday morning, though, you could easily be in and out in 10-15 min tops. I ordered a Habibi Latte (orange blossom, cardamom, clove, vanilla syrup). Loved the subtle orange flavor and just the right about of sweetness. It was a cold day so I ordered it hot but I bet it's just as good cold. I'm definitely going to try their cold brew version of it next time. Prices were as expected for coffee nowadays so be prepared to spend ~$6 for a cup! read more
Love Equator Coffee- they always have great coffee and smooth espresso drinks. This is an interesting location by the Burlingame shore in the middle of Meta headquarters. It's so beautiful to walk around and relax by the water after grabbing a drink. Also love that they have so many breakfast items and not just pastries. Egg fritatta sandwich is very flavorful with a slight kick in fresh thick bread. A few different sweet waffle options as well- I can't comment on how they tasted since my kids devoured it before I got the chance... read more

Recently started enjoying americanos with a little cream. But the Shakerato from Equator is a GAME CHANGER for me! It's 2 shots of espresso, dark brown sugar and heavy cream, shaken until frothy. It is so delicious and the perfect little 8oz coffee! I crave these more than I'd like to admit. Tastes a lot more like coffee than sugar like Starbucks. 10/10 recommend this gem. read more

Not bad. Plenty of seating. The music they play is pretty loud so I wouldn't recommend you take formal meetings here. I got an avocado toast and waited 30 mins for it. I guess I would've waited longer if I hadn't gone up to the counter and asked since the toast was sitting in the kitchen. Coffee wasn't too bad read more

I wanted to like this beautiful coffee shop so badly! This is one of the most stunning locations and beautiful places I've ever had a cup of coffee in. The shop is a little hard to find, but there is a big parking lot in the back behind the building with free parking for guests. The Bay Trail is a short walk away with gorgeous views of the water! This shop is located within all the Meta buildings, but open to the public. We opted for their iced chai latte and iced habibi cold brew cream. Unfortunately, both of these drinks were super disappointing regardless of how pretty they look! Both had a watered-down flavor and almost no taste at all. Luckily, they offer simple syrups and sugars by the self-service counter, as well as dog treats! My boyfriend & I needed to add in quite abit of sugar in order to taste anything, and even after we did, it still was really bland. Other than the drinks, the service was awesome and the interior is super cool. Prices reflect that of coffee shops in the bay nowadays. Very modernistic, bare granite, and they sell some of their products too! read more
Delicious coffee located in a Meta Campus, plenty of parking thanks to Meta. Ordered a hot mocha with regular full fat milk. Right amount of coffee, milk, and sweetness in it. Got a latte another time I went, good roast in general. Happy to go back for some caffeine when I am in the area. read more

my go to coffee spot whenever i'm heading down south or in the area! super easy parking since there's a lot and very isolated location. it's located next door to Meta's office and Equator only has one door (made the mistake of going to another door and turned out to be Meta's lobby). i really enjoy their iced vanilla latte. it's not too sweet and you can really taste the two shots of espresso. if you sign up on the app, you can also order for pickup which is relatively quick. its also nice to be able to see the pastries that they have available! haven't tried the pastries but hope to come back soon read more
Quick take: terrible second time I was pleasantly surprised by the seasonal drink mint matcha latte. It was so good I had to come back to try out other drinks. We ordered 2 drinks via app. Estimated wait time was 30 minutes on the app. So we walked around for a little bit then went inside to wait for our drinks. Waited 20 minutes inside because we didn't see our drinks on the counter. Our drinks were ready but they placed it behind a sign and we didn't see it. No one called out the order. Plenty of workers walking around behind the counter drinking coffee. Someone else ordered a cold brew via the app and that drink was placed right in the front for pick up. I went up to ask about our order and then the cashier brought out from behind a sign. Our 16 Oz. hot coffee was cold. My Iced Matcha Shakerato was a little watered down from the melting ice. It was a terrible second experience. My 8 Oz. drink was looking less than an 8 Oz drink which is tiny to begin with... $4.50 for a sampler of their watered down Matcha Shakerato. This spot is out of the way on a weekend. Not worth coming here if you aren't already working in the area. read more

I needed a little pick me up so I decided to come here to check on their drinks. Their location is on the edge of where the Facebook headquarters are. There are a good amount of parking spots on the side for "retail" that you can park at. Walking into the coffee shop, it felt cozy and modern. There were plenty of people there working on their computers and others that were relaxing outside chatting with friends. The barista greeted me at the entrance and told me to ask her if I had any questions and when I was ready to order. I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte with 2% milk ($5.75 before tip). Within a few minutes, my drink was ready. The drink was a bit sweet but once you let the ice melt a bit, it was okay. You can definitely taste the coffee within the drink so thats a plus in my book. Nobody wants a drink that just tastes like pure sugar with no kick. The coffee was on the stronger side, so if you're looking for something to help boost your energy, I'd recommend coming here. I'd definitely be back to try their season drinks next time and ask to adjust the sweetness. Overall: 4/5 Customer Service: 5/5 Parking: 5/5 Drink: 4/5 read more

Located within Meta's building on the first floor is this clean and modern coffee shop. As I've written in previous posts, i'm not a big coffee fan and when I go to a shop I usually either get a latte or cold brew. Parking/Ambiance: parking is located next to the shop and is very convenient. Love how there is ample parking. In addition to this, there's plenty of outdoor seating which is great as the area around the shop is so clean and there's water near by! Service: The barista that helped me was super kind - wish I got his name. Everyone working that day seemed to be in a great mood Food: I got the vanilla cream cold brew and boy was the cream creamy! A little too sweet for my liking but once you mix it with the cold brew it's perfect. Will be back! read more
Small coffee shop that sees quite the foot traffic from the residents on a walk along the shore and the tech company this place just so happens to live on. Wait can be a little long but it's because of the small staff they have and how everything appears to be made fresh and on the spot which I can appreciate. Staff is really nice, very talkative. I got the vanilla latte with oat milk and it was not too sweet, not too bitter. Definitely has a kick that wakes me up for the day. For food, I ordered the avocado toast and my oh my 10 stars for that!! Absolutely delicious, the lemon zest adds this whole other taste to your regular ol' avocado toast and the bread they use it thick enough to withhold the ricotta, oil and avocado. Most definitely is a must try! If you're in the area, stop by for your coffee and toast to go or enjoy the indoor/outdoor seating they offer! read more
I've been on a huge cold brew + cold cream kick recently and this smooth peppermint mocha cold brew with chocolate cold cream was amazing! I also came to study here and it was the perfect place as there were lots of charging stations and seating. read more

Wow... I am left speechless it has been so long since I am blown away by a coffee shop! I got their seasonal cherry blossom matcha w/ Oat milk it tasted amazing! What made it even better was the gluten free chocolate cake with peanut butter icing! It was one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever eaten!!! Omg! So glad I decided to try this place out! Will be coming back for sure! The workers were super super sweet as well! I had such a great experience! read more
Solid cortado! I came here on my day off and the drive was not too bad despite that it was pouring! I'm always down to try a new coffee shop and was excited that a location opened up in Burlingame. Ordered the cortado and the waffle with blueberries. Drink was made right away and the waffle took a bit longer. It was good but knocking one star off because it was quite pricey. My total was $13.00! The menu looks promising and will return to get some work done. They have a few designated spots for parking so that's always a plus! read more

Seasonal blueberry sage matcha latte w oat milk was mid. It was very watered down matcha. The service wasn't much better either. Limited parking spots are reserved for "retail". The scenery is nice. This being my first impression is enough for me. read more
This coffee shop is located in a new office complex and has abundant patio seating. You can buy bags of freshly roasted coffee as well as other merch. I ordered the veggie frittata breakfast sandwich and it was huge. It was loaded with evenly sliced avocado, chipotle sauce, and prosciutto. The bread was full of seeds and nuts and added a lot of variety in each bite. My americano was delicious and made very hot! Sip with caution! read more

Came by on a bike ride and pleasantly surprised to see people there on a Saturday afternoon. Working on laptops and hanging with friends. Ordered a Habibi latte (orange blossom water, cardamom, vanilla) $5.50 hot (also comes cold). The baristas were super nice and informative and sincere. Also got an almond croissant which they warmed. Very tasty. The yogurt parfait was normal. Nice gluten free option. Will definitely come back. read more

Nice to have this coffee shop in the midst of an office area. It's in a new Meta building right off the Bay Trail in Burlingame. Many coffee options from drip to lattes to fancy flavored coffees like lavender latte. They have teas and other beverages too. Surprisingly they also offer breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches including panini. We ate lunch here and had a breakfast sandwich and a turkey panini which were both good and filling. Our beverages/coffee were good too. Food quality and reasonable but not cheap prices. Limited indoor seating and be prepared to wait a bit to order and for the staff to make your order. But it all tastes good. There is just not a lot of room to wait inside because you need to listen for them to call your name to get your order. They have an outdoor patio and there is lots of open space and tables to sit at just around the corner between the buildings with a view of the Bay. It's nice to walk nearby along the Bay Trail and see the water. read more

I work in one of the offices in the area. This review is strictly for the iced matcha latte. I am not a coffee drinker, so I tried the iced matcha latte with strawberry foam. Although it looks great for photos, it basically tasted like milk with a very faint hint of strawberry from the foam. I would not recommend coming here if you are planning to get the matcha. read more
It took me a little bit to find the place. I was using Waze and the GPS between Waze and Yelp is not accurate. It's the first building on the right ,the very first parking lot after the big field. You park and go around the corner to the left or the building. Was very busy... being Facebook/Meta and all. I came because I really wanted the matcha. But I guess they only do that during summertime. I decided on a peppermint coffee. The foam topping was tasty, but the coffee itself needed a lot of sugar. Probably wouldn't be back, it wasn't amazing or anything but I like trying new spots. read more
