One of my favorite coffee shops! The ambiance is warm and inviting, and there's plenty of parking, which makes it convenient to visit. Seating is somewhat limited, both indoors and outdoors, but it's usually worth it. The service can be a bit inconsistent, though it's generally good overall. The food and coffee are both excellent and keep me coming back.
I was visiting the area for work and found Equator coffee within walking distance of my hotel. The vibe is really laid back and friendly. There are lots of seating options both inside and out. The servers chat with the customers and you get the sense that there are a lot of regulars that get to know the staff. I was disappointed with the coffee. When I travel for work, I typically order espresso drinks for my morning coffee because the drip coffee is unpredictable. With espresso, you expect a dark roasted bean with a rich flavor. Unfortunately, I think they are using light or medium roasted beans for their espresso because the espresso was quite bitter (even in a cappuccino). That said, I came back each morning I was in the area. The seating area is so pleasant and the bay air can't be beat!
Service always friendly, solid amount of seating. i actually like that they dont give you a lid& you can choose whichever lid you want for your beverage at the bar area where all the napkins are. So far ive had the black cherry matcha & banana cream cold brew, both were pretty good.
This coffee shop location is pretty random. It's nestled right in a Meta campus but it's open to the public! There was a parking lot right next to the shop so we went and parked there. There's not a ton of seating inside so don't go bringing large parties. Perhaps this shop is more of a grab and go type shop. They have 10 oz and 16 oz drinks but the 16 oz is only like $0.50 more which I was dumb and didn't realize. The 16 oz is a better deal! I got an 10oz mocha and I thought it was pretty good! The drink is nice and creamy. I didn't adjust the default sweetness and thought it was good, not too sweet but enough for me! My spouse got the brown butter caramel latte. He liked it! I thought it was a bit too sweet for me but he really liked the drink. It kind of reminded me of butterbeer from Harry Potter world. They do have a lot of merch available like coffee beans, socks, hats, stickers etc!
Updated back to five stars. There was no wait yesterday at 12:30 pm on a Sunday. My food and drinks came out within five minutes. We had two croissants and two drinks $20.50 and anticipated the wait to be around 30 minutes like usual. If you see a crowd of people waiting, walk out and go somewhere else. It won't be fast. The long wait times are due to mismanagement. It is not the workers' fault.
I had a winter seasonal iced coffee here once and it was eh, but the banana matcha cloud was soooooo good. It was more of a banana bread matcha instead of just banana. It's seasonal, but I wish it was year round! Service was fine and the ambiance is okay. The drink was $8 which is unfortunately kind of normal nowadays.
I like Equator coffee... I'm happy this location opened. Waiting this past Sunday was rough considering it was Mother's Day morning. They have good quality coffee beans and coffee. The selection of pastries is always a plus. I love the merch offered as well, almost bought a corduroy hat for the hubs. Overall Equator is a coffee spot I've returned to time and time again. It's not a daily occurrence but definitely worth the intermittent times during the year. Nice to go out on a sunny day with the coffee and pastries take a walk and sit by the water out nearby.
This Equator has been my staple. While this one doesnt have the views of Golden Gate Bridge, you do get a nice waterfront view of the Bay Trail and plane landings. There are some seating inside and outside. Drinks are generally on point, it could be a hit or miss on the seasonal, but mostly a hit. If you're not in for a giant cup to sip on, try their shakerato, its like an iced cortado. I used to get their lavender latte often, but havent seen that on their menu. For a coffee shop, their matcha isn't too bad. Ive heard great things about their frittata sandwich, have yet to try it. Oh and they have free equator jaguar stickers at the counter!
Equator Coffees continues to prove that coffee can be both art and ritual, especially when it comes with a perfectly poured cappuccino. I ordered a cappuccino (see photo), the latte art deserves its own fan club! And it was as smooth and balanced as ever. A mix of creamy foam, bold espresso, and that signature Equator richness that makes you smile after the first sip. As usual the service was top notch, space was filled with the cutest pups, what a joy!
This was my first time trying Equator Coffee, even though I've heard great things about the chain around the Bay Area--and I think it lived up to the hype! There are a few designated parking spots around the corner, which made things easier given how busy the area gets (especially being so close to the Meta offices). Inside, the space is somewhat limited seating, but that's to be expected at a popular spot like this. I ordered a specialty latte for March 2025 and really enjoyed it--smooth and flavorful. If you ask for light ice (as I always do on chilly days), they won't fill the drink to the top, which felt a little underwhelming. A sweet touch I noticed: they keep dog treats at the counter near the sugar and utensils station, which I thought was super thoughtful for pet parents passing through. Looking forward to coming back to try a pastry or food item next time!
It was our first time visiting the city and came across this little gem as we explored the golden gate state bridge. Very busy place. So many people from so many places it was beautiful watching everyone converse. We ordered two drinks a hot vanilla latte and an iced vanilla latte as well as a ham croissant. Everything was amazing!!! Despite them not warming up the ham croissant it still was very tasty. Over all great experience.
Brown Butter Caramel Latte 7/10! Pretty good. I just wish they had a better DoorDash/Delivery consumer protective system. My coffee came with no protection over the sip part of the lid. There should be atleast something to cover to reassure my drink wasn't altered by anyone or anything during delivery :)
I came here Saturday afternoon, quick order but took forever to get probably like 15 mins not worth it at all! The cold foam with the matcha was good but without the cold foam the matcha was bland highly don't recommend. The avocado toast was a huge disappointment. The staff is very bored like they'd rather be anywhere but there so overall it's a really negative experience. Not a coffee shop happy mood place! Go anywhere else!

I've always wanted to try equator coffee and finally had the chance at this Burlingame location! Nestled amongst the office buildings, parking was super easy, and when we got there it was not busy whatsoever! I got the 16 oz autumn spice latte, hot, with oat milk. It was delicious, not too sweet, and very smooth. This was a great place for us to do work as it wasn't too loud, the bench/table space faced outwards so you never had that awkward sitting across from a stranger thing going on. Music wasn't too loud, no problems with wifi, and you can people watch as everyone takes the shuttle in and walks to their office haha! read more
Wow! I randomly stumbled upon equator when I was finishing some lunch in downtown Burlingame and I'm so happy I did. It's tucked closer to the bay near the Meta campus. Parking is pretty available, even when the store was so busy on a Sunday afternoon. Families with kids and dogs were coming in quite frequently. The tables all had outlets so I suspect during weekdays a lot of people are catching up on work there. I ordered the strawberry matcha cream and my boyfriend got the shakerato. I enjoyed my drink, would rate it 4/5. I think I wouldve liked a more powerful flavor from the strawberry or matcha, but it blended pretty well already. The shakerato was extremely delicious. 5/5! The small size is just the amount of caffeine you need to get you boosted without totally getting you wired. I love how it is just the right amount of sweetness for me. I'm writing this review a month plus after I visited and I remember how nice the workers were! They were so helpful with our questions on recommendations and very welcoming. We decided to stop by for a drink before shopping at Costco. This is definitely a newer building that's located among a bunch of office buildings near SFO. It was packed on a Saturday afternoon with people working and catching up with people. Latte: 16 oz ($5.50) +Strong coffee flavor mixed with creamy milk Lavender Vanilla Latte: 16 oz ($6.00) +Favorite of the 3: Perfect amount of lavender that didn't overpower the coffee itself Matcha Latte: 16 oz ($6.00) with Habibi (orange blossom cardamom) syrup ($0.50) +Rich matcha flavor: I saw the barista whisking the matcha by hand, which is not something I commonly see at coffee shops. -Couldn't really taste the Habibi (orange blossom cardamom) syrup *Verdict: I wouldn't go out of my way, but if I was in the area I'd want to check out their seasonal drinks! read more

My new go-to place to study. Tucked away in Burlingame, this little gem has everything you need. Great drinks, a variety of food and pastries, wi-fi and a beautiful view of the water. I ordered the avocado toast and lemon zest added a nice kick! I paired this with a matcha latte which (to my surprise) was not heavily doused in sugar and extremely delicious. There is ample parking in the area, and it's got a very relaxing ambience. It is a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth it. read more

Ordered ours to go! The coffee was well flavored and delicious. I ordered the Shakerato and wished it was bigger due to how good it was! The waffles were good, but not spectacular. Nice environment inside, kind of small. Service was quick and efficient. I also really appreciated that dog treats were available! read more

Came here to study with a friend on a weekday. Limited seating but we were able snag a few seats. The place looked cute and we were excited to try the drinks but they ended up being a bit of a let down. Matcha was watery and mid IMO. It lacked the matcha flavor. Coffee was decent, but nothing special. Maybe would come back because the interior is nice, but I'd probably just go with a simple coffee next time. read more

i absolutely love this location. right next to the bay. the views from my seat are amazing!! lots of corporate workers around. love their coffee. if you have a sweet tooth like me, make sure to ask for extra sweet! i got their habibi latte extra sweet. and i got it hot :) and later i got their fritata veggie sandwich which was yummy as well! all their tables have outlets and wifi works great. i was happy to spend my whole day here and work away :) coming back here again for sure!!! read more
GO THERE FOR THE VIEWS AND STIMULATING ATMOSPHERE. Located right on the Meta campus overlooking the bay, location is key. Great views of the bay with access to the bay trail are what make it worth the trek. The area is bustling as it is right on campus. Quick spin around reveals a relaxing yet inspiring atmosphere. OK to bring a dog. Great views of planes approaching SFO over the bay; perfect for a sunny day. PRO-TIP: there is a nine car parking lot just prior to equator as you enter off the 101 freeway. If you pass it there are a few retail and public beach parking spots available. There is a K9 security guard who will approach you. You're totally fine if you are going to EQUATOR or the Meta store. Coffee is pretty good. I had my standard oat milk latte which was rich and I opted for the 16 oz dose. There was a "brainwash" coffee available (mushroom powder syrup to boost your brain), befitting for a clientele of intellectuals. I opted not to get it because of the sugar load and plus my IQ isn't that high anyway. read more
Good Wi-Fi, great coffee, and easy parking. What more could you ask for? Spent a few hours here studying today. Staff was super helpful and the habibi iced latte was DELICIOUS. Samples a few pasteries too and while they aren't anything to write home about, they're still really good. The habibi latte was smooth, a medley of lovely flavors, and one of my favorite iced coffee flavors I've ever had. The staff was also super helpful and gave good recommendations. Bathroom was clean and easy to access and people were definitely in here to do work. It was never crowded and lots of people were there working so good energy when you need to get things done. Main cons: I snagged a chair, but there was a lot of stools that I would've not been able to do a 4 hour study session. Also, I'm not from the Bay Area, so I was definitely freezing. It was a windy day and the door would constantly fling open with each patron and stay open thanks to the wind. Probably was the biggest distraction while I was there hahaha. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area. I got a ton of work done here and would definitely enjoy coming here on a warmer day ahaha read more
A great working cafe! Plenty of outlets and delicious coffee. PARKING Accessible parking lot to the side of the building. SERVICE Friendly and quick! AMBIANCE Came on a Sunday afternoon and surprisingly there was ample of space to sit inside. It's actually smaller than I thought given the spacious look from other yelper's photos. FOOD AND DRINKS I got the Breakfast Frittata Sandwich and it was delicious. The frittata was piping hot smothered in cheese tuck between two toasted crispy sourdough bread slices. The Habibi Latte was also great, although I gotten least sweet so it wasn't as spiced as it would be. Overall, I would come again if I'm in the area and looking for a WFH cafe to do some focus work. read more
I always get an Equator coffee whenever I can, but their food quality is just as good. I got the avocado toast which is probably one of the best I've had. There's something special about the bread they used. A perfect mix among orange zest, black pepper, and a hint of spiciness from the chili flakes. The habibi coffee is also smooth and well balanced. The breakfast egg frittata added prosciutto is also a fantastic brunch choice. Friendly service, quiet ambiance, with the bay trail closed by. Well deserved a five star review! read more

This place is wonderful, tucked in a modern corporate park. The coffee is so fresh and smooth. The breakfast frittata was delicious, served on a loaf of bread. The work space is not large, but there is additional patio seating. The exposure is beautiful (see photo)...light and bright. I don't think it's located on the Equator, and yet I felt surprisingly balanced as I sat there. read more

EQUATOR COFFEE is on the ground level of a corporate building which seems part of a larger campus. It has its own entrance at the front. Parking lot is large and free. There was no line to order when I went in. The barista was friendly. And even more importantly, she is ber good. My CORTADO was fantastic. I'm sure the beans and roast had something to do with that. Why do I crave you soooo much?! I am in looooooove with this place! Everything I've had is single brewed or prepared to perfection. I'm a matcha lover so I typically get a matcha latte here and they do not disappoint. Doesn't matter if it's hot or cold, it hits the spot. In the summer they also had a strawberry matcha which was delightful. I do not work within walking distance and have to drive and while there is some parking for "retail" there just isn't enough. I've come a few times and haven't been able to park (it's a the Mets office buildings so if you don't work there you can't just park anywhere) I love that the location is on the bay, it's a nice and serene place to enjoy it and take a break. While the space is small, it's always bright and clean and the employees are always very nice and attentive. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because they don't open early enough! As a coffeehouse, I would think they'd open earlier. They don't open until 7a and for people who have to be at work by then, leaves people like me having to go to work without a cup and having to try to jump back in the car to take a break and grab a cup! Of course I do this as much as I can because it's just that good but would definitely be a huge plus if I could grab a cup before heading in! read more
I came to Equator Coffees with a group of friends after a class in the morning on the weekend. It's located on the Facebook campus, and is pretty visible from the road, as it's next to the traffic light around the bend. You'll want to park to the parking lot to the southwest of the building, as I believe that's the closest one. I got the blackberry cream cold brew, as it was a seasonal item. It came only in the larger 16oz size and was $5.75. The service always polite and gracious. I probably got my order within 5 minutes, after a small line in front of me. You'll want to stir the cold brew when you get it. That way you'll get the sweet blackberry flavor. I had tried the cold brew first without mixing and after mixing, and could easily distinguish sweetness before and after mixing. It's a bit of a ways out of one's way, but if you traveling on 101 and need a quick up-scale coffee chain, this is a great place to stop by. read more

This place was so cute and staff was amazing. I'm only not putting 5 stars because the music was NOT good at all. It was creating such a weary and depressing vibe. The songs talked about walking with the devil, blood, resting with a knife, being afraid to die etc. I was genuinely sooooooo confused. I was just a little caught off guard because it just wasn't fitting to the beautiful space. I would suggest management to cater to this as constructive criticism and to play instrumental jazz or something less sad. We're already in such a difficult time in politics--in the world in general and it would be nice to have safe places that don't feel scary or deathly. Just a kind reminder I'm a huge fan of the coffee and staff, the music just wasn't it. Please create a more neutral space for the community. With love, just pure gentle criticism. read more
Came to Equator Coffees for the first time and ordered an iced latte with a Blueberry Waffle and a Banan toast. The latte was great, the blueberry waffle awesome, and the banana toast a bit heavier and sweeter than I expected. But the food is cute and the ambiance is really nice. The views are amazing! Yum! Cute little equator location tucked into a small company district. It's also right next to fisherman's park / bay trail so it comes with a nice little walk afterwards! Ordered a vanilla cold brew cream ($6.35), tasted good nothing crazy, but good quality. Interested to come back and try some of their espresso drinks! read more

Amazing service! Quick coffee service! I ordered the habibi iced latte and it was perfect. Not too sweet and not too bitter. Small place to sit inside and outside seating too! I discovered this spot through a friend, and we picked up a pastry bag of different varieties. It was my first time trying their selection, and I was impressed--not only were the pastries delicious, but they were also incredibly fresh. The store has a cute ambiance, making it a great place to hang out and enjoy a latte with a treat. The staff was super friendly and got my order ready quickly, which I really appreciated. My favorite was the chocolate chip cookie--it was perfect! This place also has a lot of coffee drinks which I will try next time. read more

Ambiance 5/5 Very clean coffee shop. We came here this early afternoon (Saturday) so there was no crowd. I can see how this would be busy during a regular work week because it's situated in Meta. Service 5/5 Julian was the barista and he answered our questions regarding the types of coffees they were currently serving. Coffee 5/5 I tried The Habibi Latte (Orange Blossom, cardamom, clove, vanilla syrup, 2 shots) with oatmilk. It was delicious. It was not overpowering with the flavor. Wife tried the Honey Lavendar iced with oatmilk and that was also good. Definitely would come back again for a cup of coffee. They also have specific parking for the retail/coffee shop which is nice. On a nice day you can take a walk along the waterfront and watch the planes from SFO take off and land read more

Chill little spot to hang out or get some work done. I got a vanilla latte -- espresso has nutty tones, which I like. It is a bit too sweet though, I wasn't able to finish it all. Service was good, nothing out of the ordinary. Only thing to keep in mind is that it's a small shop and when that door swings open, you get a cold flash of wind. If you plan on doing work or hanging out here on a cooler day, bring a sweater! read more
Love their drinks! They have so many interesting flavors that change with the seasons. My go-to favorite is still the habibi. Their almond croissants are 100% The location is pretty isolated, within an office building, but there's lots of parking and outdoor seating. It gets pretty windy tho because it's right by the water. A perfect place for morning coffee. Equator is located in the Meta campus close to SFO and has plenty of designated parking for retail. It's a smaller coffee shop but it has a good amount of seats and table space inside and outside in a little courtyard. The views are gorgeous! It's right on the water so you can enjoy your coffee and walk around or just sit with the great views. It was also pretty quiet which was nice. I ordered a chocolate foam cold brew recommended by the girl who helped me and it was delicious! The chocolate was so rich and creamy and the coffee was so smooth and paired really well. While sprinting along the trails of Burlingame point I came across this corporate looking coffee shop and what a find it was! Before I even walked inside they already had my attention with their habibi latte that they were advertising in the front. Before ordering I asked if they offered mug service and their answer was sweet music to my ears as well as their playlist in the background. So the habibi latte came with a blend of orange blossom, cardamom, vanilla syrup and a touch of clove. Mmm, yeah this was definitely a winner! To pair up with my lattes I had their vegan muffin which was really good if I couldn't tell it was vegan. I also tried their brainwash latte that had a blend of functional mushroom and espresso which was really nice. I've been wanting to stop by an Equator Coffee shop for awhile now. When I was passing by the area on the way to Daly City from the East Bay, I added it to my stops! This shop is located in the Meta buildings at Burlingame Point, right by the water and Bay Trail. It's still open to the public and there's plenty of parking in the area (though none directly out front so expect a short walk). The shop itself has some tables inside and outside and I would expect that it'd get busy during meal times on the weekdays. In fact, I saw that they even have a sign prepared that would note how long the wait time is for drinks/food (in true Disneyland fashion). On an early Saturday morning, though, you could easily be in and out in 10-15 min tops. I ordered a Habibi Latte (orange blossom, cardamom, clove, vanilla syrup). Loved the subtle orange flavor and just the right about of sweetness. It was a cold day so I ordered it hot but I bet it's just as good cold. I'm definitely going to try their cold brew version of it next time. Prices were as expected for coffee nowadays so be prepared to spend ~$6 for a cup! read more
