I have never professionally gotten art framed, so I went there based on reviews. I was a walk in and was promptly greeted. The service, explanation of options was great. A week or two until ready. The quality is really nice. Worth the $$. I went in with an idea, came out with a masterpiece. read more

Epsom Picture Framing - Framing Near Me - Burlingame, California

I have been able to come back to Epsom twice recently and both have been stellar experiences. I moved away from Burlingame some time ago, but will still travel down to my old stomping grounds to get things done here... John is everything that I love about a small business. He's reasonable, smart, has a great variety and selection of frames to choose from in his store at all times and the prices are good to boot. If and when I can afford the luxury of getting something framed, I am pretty much going to take my business here for those reasons. It's a great experience not only when you walk in, but all the way through. I received a quick direct text when it was ready for pickup to get my frame recently. Strongly recommend! read more

Jon runs a fair and honest business on top of being a world class framer. I say world class because I've framed multiple pieces from different cities and Jon takes care of you and listens to your expectations. He is very fair and honest in his pricing and if you want an expensive option he gives you choices. If you want affordable ones he helps you there too. He is not pushy and doesn't cut corners. He's so far framed about 50+ pieces of mine and I've referred about 100+ pieces from other friends and contractors. I haven't come into any issues nor anything that Jon couldn't handle. He gets busy at times, but that's what happens when you're a one man shop with lots of great reviews and word of mouth. read more

John did a GREAT job on some mats, with a super fast turnaround of 2 days. What a welcome experience after weeks of hassle at a big box "Mi...l's store that couldn't cut clean and accurate mats even after multiple failed attempts. Save yourself time AND support a local business by going to Epsom... you will be happy that you did! read more

I was very pleased with all the attention to detail I received from John in framing 3 diplomas. He was very patient with my daughter and I as he helped us decide from the numerous possible layouts. I couldn't be happier with the results I picked up today! read more

I took a new piece I love to John to frame with a general idea of what I wanted. John showed me several options, and his suggestion turned out to be the best by far. John finished the job before the promised date, and the result was stunning. I was also very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable John's prices are. I will use Epsom for future framing needs. read more

Have 5 Framed Prints. Every single one came out great. He's very nice and knowledgable. Will comeback will all my future prints.

This was our first time at Epsom, but won't be our last. They did a quick, quality job framing (and putting museum glass on) a couple of serigraphs we bought unframed (see the attached photos). Not only was the job done quickly, it was at a very reasonable price. They helped us select frames that color matched nicely to our serigraphs, and the the frames came with hanging wires already installed. They even trimmed the mats that came with the picture as they weren't originally perfect. In short, we highly recommend Epsom if you're in the Burlingame/San Mateo/Hillsborough/Millbrae area. read more

I recently had 3 pieces framed by Epsom framing. It was the best framing experience I have ever had. John was knowledgable about framing techniques & made great recommendations. They had beautiful mat & frame options (including some that are locally sourced in California). They were shockingly affordable. And can I tell you how beautiful my pieces came out... Well let me show you: read more

I am a print junkie. I love buying them to "put in the perfect place" but end up having huge piles of gorgeous prints but no way to hang them up. After a horrendous and overpriced experience at Aaron Bros and cringing at the prices quoted at another framer I decided to take a chance on Epsom Framing based on the reviews. I walked into this little mom and pop shop today and immediately was welcomed. The enthusiasm the owners showed at helping me select the perfect frame and matting for my prints really made me happy because I knew they were looking at frames the same way I was---to be placed in my home! The husband and wife owners made me smile because they disagreed/agreed in a charming way on frame sizes and colors that reminded me of my parents. The prices I was quoted were MORE than reasonable. Especially given that each item is being framed by a professional. For the number of items and the specific colors, sizes and UV glass I selected, I spent less than I had budgeted for. Completely different than buying an off the rack frame. Past experience showed that if they're cheap the corners don't match and usually don't even come with hanging gear. If they're nice you get hanging wire but have to hang/frame it yourself. Given the amount of frustration, time and effort it takes to frame a piece of art, Epsom really is an incredible option to choose. They have an AMAZING selection of frames and mats and I can't reiterate enough the prices are really reasonable. So please support this lovely, local friendly shop. You won't be disappointed! read more

John did a fabulous job to frame up my Van Gogh art piece and also two canvas pieces from Santorini and Mykonos! He is so patient when it comes to frame selection! He took the time to show me all possibilities and share his artistic view point to guide me through! He also put a non glared glass to make my Van Gogh piece more vividly! John is a terrifically talented and experienced framer. He helped select the best frame and mat for a very colorful monotype print. I haven't picked up the framed print yet, but my past experience with John was top notch, so that's why I came to him with this current job. read more

This place is one of the great treasures on the Peninsula. I painted an abstract acrylic piece which I wanted to frame for a gift. Came across Epsom by searching Yelp since I was having lunch nearby on a Saturday. The price was so reasonable for a double mat with glass in a wood frame that I was shocked. The level of workmanship was perfect. Done by a craftsman who takes tremendous pride in his product, and made in a very short time. I have an additional two pieces there now, a pastel and a watercolor. John knows what he's doing, you won't go wrong. read more

So very pleased with the outcome. Had 2 large pieces of art that look absolutely fabulous-floating style with museum quality acrylic. John was very supportive as we tried many variations for border and frame-snapping photos-different backgrounds etc. Best of all I get to support a local business neighbor that offers reasonable (probably better than big chain stores-without silly coupon/groupons) rates for great service.
