It's scorching hot with barely any shade. They have one concession stand with hotdogs and chips. Beer is all they had when I went so I don't know about the "swim up bar". They don't allow cheeky bottoms for girls because it's literally a place for kids. The slides and climb thing are an extra $10 once you've already paid a lot to get in. You can't bring any outside food or drinks (which makes sense but sucks if you want more than an overpriced hot dog). They mark off half of the pool so you can only swim in the shallow part. The pool needs to be cleaned, the paint in the pool was chipping, this place looked like it had been open for over 10 years. I was very surprised. We rented a VIP cabana and there was no service. They only have food trucks. Drinks are small and could barely taste the alcohol. Very very small, it's like we drove two hours to go to someone's gated community . Obstacle course is tiny , wait time cry long unorganized no shade . Over priced low level quality food . "Birria" tacos ... were the same as a quesadilla just folded differently - when we asked for the broth to go with it as it says they poured us scalding hot oil from their grill to dip in absolutely no idea what birria is. At the sales "stand" (a simple table with things for sale) Limited inventory for the volume of people, tried to buy a sun block lotion at 10:30am (opens at 10am) not available, a pool and not even have/sells sun block lotion? This place looks really cool and the 7 acre lagoon is most impressive but there were a couple of disappointments. On their website, it clearly says it I family friendly. Dress code says no thong bottoms or Brazilian cut bottoms. Well, this was ABSOLUTELY NOT ENFORCED. Even when confronted, the staff did say they would do something but did not, so there's that. Then our kids rented two paddle boards and went to the designated spot to pick them up only to be told it was too windy to paddleboard. What?? They are 25 years old and experienced. What a great place to go and hang for the day if you are not a beach person ..the lagoon is fairly new and they are still a few things here and there that are being worked out...Food truck was good, they had basics , tenders ,fries, hot dogs and others choices. We went on Columbus Day since Orlando schools had off but their county didn't so made it nice not to crowded.. saturdays and Sunday's are very busy they are open to residents of the community as well as outside guests..price is $23 for the day ..look at website..you can rent paddle boards and canoeing... and this is a BIG TIP LET THE KIDS DO THE WATER OBSTACLE!! it's not for middle age folks LOL..but if you dare I told you so ...what was I thinking !! Not what I expected at all! Basically, this place is a giant community pool and not at all what it's advertised to be. It's great if you live nearby but definitely not a place for travelers like ourselves. We had 2 frozen pina coladas for like $18, over priced for sure and not that great. Entrance for 2 adults and 1 kid came to be $70 again over priced especially when there wasn't much to do. The giant slide they had was moldy and dirty on the back side which unfortunately it's the first thing you see when walking in that direction. So misleading. $40 a person for a glorified pool. The pictures make it look huge and it's really not that big and on top of that the swimming areas are roped off to the paddle boarders and kayakers which is like 90% of the "lagoon", which I'm not sure why anyone would pay extra to do that in a pool because it's so small. The water is FREEZING and it's the middle of may and 90° out. There's no shade or seating anywhere because it's so overcrowded and they won't let you bring your own chairs or food or beverages. And there's construction for housing developments everywhere which blocks any breeze that might exist outside the community. If you don't get there within the hour of opening then you'll spend an hour or so waiting for someone to leave to take their spot. The pictures in their website don't show the lack of seating or shade or that the swimming area is probably half if not a quarter the size of your local community pool. It was just incredibly disappointing and extremely frustrating how much of a facade this place is. Don't waste your time or your money. You'll have more space and fun swimming in a $10 kitty pool. read more

Horrible experience there during my last visit. Another guest snatched chairs from under two of my children ,My lady addressed the adults who snatched the chairs from them,reported what they did and management did nothing about it. I was not there when it happened,upon finding out I got very upset and as I walked by one of the adults who forcefully removed a chair from under our 9 and 13 year old boys,the adult,who was clearly older than myself harassed me and sarcastically asked was that my chair. I then replied,they complained and I was force to leave with 4 children. Unsure if the decision the manager made was based on the profits to be made from a group of adults at the bar buying drinks in comparison to 2 parents casually drinking while entertaining 4 children or if it was based on racial preference. Several other adults spoke with the manager and told him what happened and who should be getting removed from the lagoon,the manager brushed it off and forced us out. We did not know any of these other people who told him what happened,as we just went with simply our children.I mentioned to the manager that I wanted to make a report and that I needed the guy's name who had pushed my son off and gotten in my lady's face while I was out of the pool with our youngest getting hot dogs,he supposedly called. We waited but after 45 minutes of having my children wait at the gate watching other kids play,I simply decided to take them out and enjoy the rest of our day. Horrible read more

The service was terrible, I paid for my son to go on the slide, read the sign that said 10 dollars so I went to look for the cash, come back to try and buy the bracelet for the slide and the woman looks at me with an attitude and tells me it's 10$ with additional tax. I go back and get the money once again to wait a long time because the woman was on her phone, it was up until they decided that they wanted to work when they decided to take the money, not even 10 minutes later they kick everyone off the water and tell them to either sit in the bathrooms or wait in their vehicles. Super excited as a non resident to see what this lagoon was about, made the stop while heading to the west side for the weekend. Perhaps they weren't prepared for such a holiday turn out for the 4th of July but man did it show... food and bars backed up everywhere, the most attitude filled bartenders I dealt with in a while... so much that it made you think it twice before submitting to that. As far as the lagoon, it's taken up mostly by the obstacle course and paddle boards. They have there whole sector roped off which takes away from the big lagoon pics you may see online.. Drove an hour and a half with my family to visit Epperson, we spend about $180 for entry & "VIP" seating. As soon as we got there and set our stuff down, the bartender came over to let us know they would be closing the bar due to excessive staffing. Other than poolside service, VIP seating is rendered useless (all you get is an umbrella and an 'exclusive' pool that's small and far away from the other attractions). So naturally, we requested a refund and were denied due to our tickets being prepaid. If the website mentioned the possibility of not receiving services paid for, we would have opted out, but it doesn't. They offered us tickets to one of their attractions and an umbrella, which altogether did not equate what we paid for VIP cabana seating. All this said, the experience was not working what we paid in entry + food ($16 crap burgers, really?) + time spent getting there. You're better off jumping in a random lake. read more

What a fun place to go to enjoy the water but not have to travel far. Came on a weekend. The place wasn't packed. Had an inflatable slide and the opportunity to rent kayaks and SUPs. Nice shallow area for the kids, and beer and deep ends for the adults. The water was a little chilly but great on a hot day. Downside was that there want much shade, but you could bring your own umbrella. I think you could rent as well, lots of chairs for lounging, the color of the water is nice. read more

I've been to this place when it first opened and now. It was so cool and a great spot and after coming twice and seeing it as it is, I can say with confidence. It. Is. Not. Worth. The. Money. Honestly I'm not sure I would pay $5 a person again. It's exuberant cost of $25/person can not be expected when the trash cans are full, the food trucks close early and no outside food is allowed. There is trash on the ground, lifeguards must be underpaid since they seem in a constant state of irritation. Really wish they had done a better job to keep it up because it could be so cool. Visiting from out of state with my wife. My buddy lives about 45 mins from here so we decided to come and enjoy the water in the Florida heat. The lifeguards blew their whistles about 5 minutes after we went in the facility, pulling everybody out of the water. So we decided to stick around and try to wait it out at the bar in the facility, I ordered 1 round of drinks and then it closed also. So we sat around for a couple hours and did absolutely nothing. We left and went to the ticket booth to get a refund. I was told "We don't do refunds, we just reschedule." I told them I live over 8hrs away and will not be back so a reschedule won't work. They just said we can only reschedule. I paid $60 to sit and look at water....pretty ridiculous. If you look at all of my reviews they're accurate and fair and i usually find ways to enjoy the day/night if things aren't smooth. The young girl at the ticket booth who was probably getting paid minimum wage had a lot of attitude for somebody had no reason to be rude and only repeat the same thing "We can only do a reschedule" and shrugged her shoulders as I asked if there was another representative I could speak to. So now I'm out $60, I could've done a lot more with my day with that. Not happy, just make sure it's 100% a clear day with no lightning or you'll have an overpriced, miserable day. read more

Despite the negative reviews, I figured I would give Epperson a chance to see if it was worth all the hype as some people say. When I got there I had about 49 minutes until they closed the pools are had all exit to the shelters since there was lightning within a 10 mile radius. Which is understandable to safety cautions but here is the crazy part, despite kicking all out and having all under a shelter, THEY WERE STILL SERVING FOOD despite the rainy thundering weather, the food line was long and the residents waiting were not under a shelter. It seems it is more of a marketing ploy as you'd think if they care about the safety of others they would ensure that there is no chance anybody could be hurt, but nope. So it just seems funny to me why they would have all under a shelter except if you are order food, in which in my opinion still puts people at risk. Image of proof attached. Weather aside, it really is just a large pool with 4 inflatable water attractions which is not all that. Such a shame, I went to this lagoon unbiased and came out ashamed of this park. Keep in mind I bought the Cabana Rental ($209), the water obstacle course ($11) and I had the after 3 pm pass, and the Adult day pass to fully get the most out of this trip, despite only being their less than a few hours, shouldn't even say hours as it was way less than that they have a strict no-refund policy, wonder why? Ignoring the other comments, I tried to come to this place with a unbiased point of view, and it just didn't do it for me. A very sad shame, do yourself a favor, and don't waste your time their is many great other options with more joyful attractions other parks have to offer than this. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Drove from Miami, thought it would be amazing. The drive was so not worth it. It looks way bigger in pictures, to top it off I had a floatie for my 3 year old very small, I know their website says no floats but it was a toy. The main problem I had was that their rent a cop that came over and told us we had to deflate the float and when I tell you he was extremely rude... he acted like I kicked a baby. Everything is expensive and the alcoholic drinks suck. But what really got me was the extremely rude rent a cop dudes that came over to tell us about the floaties. Never again. To me customer service is everything and they really missed the mark on that for me. Don't recommend at all. And you can't even bring in balls to play with. Save your money go to the beach. read more
