I got a few quotes before choosing Epoxy Crew and I'm glad I went with them. They were not the cheapest, but definitely the most professional. The quality shows. Floor looks incredible and easy to clean now. Gidon & Reut were very communicative and transparent with everything from start to finish and even after. I highly recommend Epoxy Crew Inc. read more

Gidon was amazing, they were not the cheapest but they paid attention to the details nobody else mentioned. He went the extra mile to at every point and educated us on the product he was using and why. I'm very impressed with their attention to detail, and quality of work. He clearly loves what he does, and its a local, family business. Can't ask for much more than that. Thanks Epoxy Crew! read more

Gidon is GREAT! I called three highly recommended firms from Yelp. One didn't call back, one gave a rough estimate over the phone, and only Gidon came by the house, analyzed our garage slab, helped me figure out that we had a moisture problem in our slab that could have ruined the epoxy coating and made us waste a ton of money. With his advice, we first fixed the slab, and then Gidon came and did his epoxy coating. The coating looks awesome! My wife said our garage is now the nicest room in the house :) Reut was easy to work with from an office coordination perspective. And Gidon did a great job protecting the garage door during the rain so that no water seeped in while the epoxy was curing. Note on the size of the flakes: we went with 1/4" flakes. Because we still have some moisture in our slab, Gidon said we couldn't go smaller or it would be too slippery. On the small sample we had, the 1/4" flakes looked really big. However, when installed, they are visually the appropriate size. From a budgeting perspective, look at the size of the flakes quoted. If you decided to go smaller, the price will go up because it takes a greater volume of smaller flakes to cover the same surface area. FIVE STARS. Highly recommend Gidon, Reut and the Epoxy Crew! read more

Of all the contractors I've dealt with over the years, Gidon stands out in his workmanship, communication, sincerity and commitment. His wife, Ruth is especially exceptional in her communication and scheduling for the project. Gidon took great care in keeping the project site in mint condition. For example, all furniture and items placed around the project site were carefully covered to prevent exposure to chemicals. Gidon was extremely helpful and went well beyond the call of duty. Several neighbors have admired the workmanship and are looking forward to working with Gidon and Ruth in the near future. I, too, look forward to working with the both of you again soon for my next project. Thank you once again! read more

we used Epoxy Crew to refinish our garage floor. Gideon was extremely helpful and professional, made excellent suggestions, and in the end the job turned out beautiful. problem is that I now need to repaint the garage because the floor looks so great! We were referred to Gidon and Epoxy Crew by our close friends who just recently had their garage floor epoxied. They were so happy with how their garage turned out and we couldn't agree more once we saw it. From the first time I reached out to Gidon and/or his office manager Ruet, all the way to the completed project, the experience was flawless. Starting with a very informative consultation, Gidon walked us through how the process works, options we had, and recommendations to get our desired end state. What I really liked about Gidon is his attention to detail, thoroughness, and ensuring the job was done right so that the floor would last us a long time. Gidon and his crew even helped us move heavy appliances before and after the job and covered them when it rained. During the first day of work, it began to rain in the afternoon and the forecast didn't look good for the next 2-3 days. Although I could tell how bad Gidon felt for the weather, I really appreciated him kindly asking us to delay so that he can do the job right. Gidon clearly takes pride in every job he does and cares about and takes pleasure in his customer's happiness. We couldn't have asked for a better experience at a great value. Also - look at how the garage used to look when we first bought the place. Night and day difference after Gidon did his magic. Thank you Gidon! read more

Gidon is a master of this art! Look no further for your epoxy needs. He is extremely meticulous in his work, very methodical in how he gets things done, and leaves no detail unattended to. He updated us every step of the way, and discussed his recommendations for a couple different aspects of the installation (i.e., where to extend the epoxy out to - behind vs in front of garage door when shut). Excellent communication from the start to the finish. Thank you so much Gidon for helping us transform our garage! read more

I usually prefer to use friend referrals over Yelp reviews for big projects like these, but I lucked out and found Epoxy crew who did the epoxy (Basalt color) on my garage floor. The owner, Gidon, was very professional, responsive and direct in our communications. The garage is old and had significant cracks in the cement. Gidon filled the cracks with silicone and ground the cement along the floor, wall border and brick stair. The floor now looks beautiful and brand new, a much needed improvement from the dark and dreary space it was before. I would say it definitely increased value in the home as well. I was reluctant to spend money on a room I only use to park and do laundry but the garage is now a pleasant and efficient storage area. I'm very happy with Gidon's work. I told him in the beginning I did not want the cheap Rust-oleum crap that is sold at HD. Gidon used industrial grade epoxy that will protect the floor from moisture and future cracking. His recommendations were spot on. Gidon did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend his company to anyone else looking to have this done at their home. read more

I recently purchased a home in San Ramon and the garage floor had not be touched since the home was built in 1978. So Gidon and the Epoxy Crew came in and the garage is completely transformed! Now I love my garage and enjoy being in there. Gidon is an expert and pointed out all of the problems with the garage floor and how they could be fixed. Then he showed me pictures of his other projects as examples of what could be done with my garage floor. Gidon recommended some colors of the epoxy and chips and I was so glad he made the recommendations that he did. I thought I wanted a floor with black or darker colored chips but he recommended something lighter in color and I am so glad I went with his recommendations. Gidon and Eduardo were so great to work with even during challenges with the rainy weather. I highly, highly recommend the Epoxy Crew! read more

Gidon, is a very knowledgeable epoxy contractor that is very thorough on how completes his job. He was sub-contracted to my project to epoxy my garage floors and did a wonderful job. He was always on time and communicative on the whole process. He always went above and beyond to finish my job on a tight timeline. He is a great epoxy expert and probably is super busy because of his work ethic, but if you are patient enough to get a hold of him you will walk away with a fabulous job like seen in my pics. read more

Epoxy Crew - Flooring Near Me - Concord, California

Moving into a new house I wanted to make sure I picked the best contractor to epoxy my garage floors. One who takes the time to explain the project, does thorough prep work, and uses quality materials. When meeting with Gideon at Epoxy Crew for the first time, he touched on all of those items and gave me confidence that he was the right guy for the job. In my previous home, I went with a contractor who guaranteed the floor would be done in a day, which seemed great , but overtime the floor started cracking and peeling , due to sub-par prep and application. I wanted to make sure I didn't make that mistake again. Thankfully, this time around I made the right choice! Gideon took about two-days to prep the floor, from grinding the surface , filling in cracks / seams, and most importantly cleaning up. He highly stressed the importance of good floor prep to insure proper paint adhesion. After that, Gideon proceeded to apply the base color , flake and a nice thick coat of clear. By day three, the floor turned out stunning! Worthy of an exotic car showroom! Thanks Gideon for a job well done! I highly recommend Epoxy Crew for your garage floor project. read more

After becoming increasingly frustrated by the ever-present white, powdery dust I was tracking into my condo from the concrete on my balcony, I knew I needed to find a solution. I'm so pleased I found Epoxy Crew on Yelp. Gidon, the owner of the business, came to my home for a consultation, and he walked me through my options as well as the process. Gidon assured me that after epoxy was applied to my balcony floor, I would no longer have to deal with the powder that just wouldn't go away despite constant sweeping. In addition, epoxy would protect my balcony floor from weather and stains for many years to come. I couldn't be happier with the end result -- it's simply stunning. Throughout the process, both Gidon and his assistant, Eduardo, were meticulous, thorough, hardworking, and honest. They took great care to make sure I was completely satisfied, and their devotion to the craft was very apparent. I very highly recommend Epoxy Crew for all epoxy needs! read more

Epoxy Crew - I'm very pleased with the finished product! - Flooring Near Me - Concord, California

From the first contact through the quotation process, preparing the floor surface and clean up after completion, Epoxy Crew were absolutely professional and a pleasure to work with. Unlike several competitive contractors Epoxy Crew sent the proprietor Gidon to do a site survey including concrete pad moisture measurement and proposed a realistic repair of the severe cracking in my garage floor pad. Gidon was present throughout the job, and he and his assistant Edouard helped move some of the heavier items for me and were extremely respectful of all property and landscaping. The recommendation was to cut through the cracks to be filled with an epoxy cement compound. The entire floor was surface ground using a vacuum dust control system that was amazingly effective in keeping the dust under control. Then the prepared floor was finished in a 3 component epoxy / flake / poly-aspartic clear top coat system, applied one day apart. Communication therought the process was perfect, Gidon called before arriving and was extremely punctual. After the final coat had dried over the weekend, Gidon came back and cleared up the site and helped move the shelves and workbench back. The quotation was a bit higher than other companies, however, when comparing the scope of the work, the superior materials used - high water pressure resistant epoxy compounds etc, the extent to which the cracks were treated and filled the value for money was excellent. At the end of the job when the outstanding service and quality of the job is considered I am in no doubt that Epoxy Crew is the way to go. I can wholeheartedly recommend Epoxy Crew. read more

It's absolutely gorgeous! Gidon of Epoxy Crew is one of the most conscientious persons who has ever done any work on our house. He and his crew did a brilliant job and I can highly recommend them. He walked us through the process, told us which products he uses and in what order, showed us all the possible color/application samples, came back a second and third time as we could not make up our minds on colors. We ended up with "Roll On Rock" which has a "Whisper Gray" base and 1/4" "Smoke" flakes. A fantastic match to our concrete walls. They were always on time, protected all our stuff, fixed all cracks expertly, prepped the floor to perfection, cleaned up after and always wanted to make sure we're happy and satisfied with the work. We did a small garage first to try it out and will do the big one after the summer. Did not want the flakes/pattern from the garage floor to show beyond the garage door, so we scored a shallow line in the concrete and did a solid color outside. It ended up not quite perfect - a windy day blew some dust on it and a cat walked on it before it was fully dried , so they came back a second time to clean it, sand it and put two more coats on it. We could not be happier! read more

Gideon came out and gave us a quote before summer that was expensive but reasonable, at $6 a square foot. He explained the colours, and the process and was generally quite personable. Of the 8 quotes we received, Gideon's was right in the middle, and it felt like his work would be high quality based on the Yelp reviews and our conversation. I sat on the project for a few months because we had a few other things going on around the house. When it finally came back up to the top of my list, I followed up to book. I'm guessing summer is high season when it comes to garage flooring - the price went up by a third to $8 per square foot! Our garage isn't small, so this was a substantial increase. I elected to go with another company who charged us $5 per square foot. read more

Gidon was wonderful to work with. I HIGHLY recommend Epoxy Crew!! My garage was a hard job because it was in bad shape-- and he worked so hard to make it look great, even when he ran into unexpected problems. He takes so much pride in his work. And goes above and beyond. Even calling after the job to make sure I was happy with everything. I had a lot of trouble picking out the colors and finish, and he was patient, provided recommendations, and even came a second time so I could see the samples again. Gidon also brings a smile and kind spirit. read more

Working with Gidon to epoxy our small garage in Berkeley was a pure pleasure. From the moment I first got in touch, he was responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. He stopped by for an inspection of our garage and had a whole box of samples we could look at and feel. We were indecisive on which one but after describing to him the look we were going for, he suggested a sample he was installing in a different garage that week. He nailed it -- it was exactly what we wanted. He also checked out a tricky drainage channel in our garage and gave us options for how he could epoxy around it and still make it functional. Gidon said he would email us a quote and it arrived within a day. Even when we ultimately had to delay the epoxy installation because our other contractor was delayed on other work on our home, it was no problem. Gidon regularly checked in with me once a week, and a month later when we were finally ready for him, he was ready for us. Gidon and his assistant took great care in the installation itself. He first grinds down the concrete to create a better surface for the epoxy to adhere to. The concrete in our 100 year old home needed lots of patching and re-grinding and he deftly handled it all in a timely fashion. In applying the epoxy he ended up needing to use more material than he quoted us for, but didn't charge us any extra. The end look is gorgeous compared to what it looked like before. Gidon brought professionalism and heart to the process and I'd work with him again in a heartbeat. If you need anything epoxyed, call him asap! read more

Gidon and his team were the most professional, patient, and talented individuals I've ever had the pleasure to rely on for contract work. Words aren't enough to encompass the diligence and passion they put into their hard work. Gidon was knowledgeable about the materials and his suggestion, never pushy about any sort of specific high end product or price, and was extremely fair with his quote. He arrived early, stayed late, made adjustments to the work based off the inclement weather, and promised to follow up should there be any flaws in his work (there were and are none for the record). The man and his crew are flawless. The epoxy job they did for my garage floor was just *chef's kiss* so clean and shiny and level. It's phenomenal. It straight up looks like a show room in a high end luxury dealership. If you're on the fence of going with this business, please do not hesitate to go with Gidon. He will guide you through the most curated process you could ever ask for, unlike these other guys who are all about pushing the most expensive wasteful job on you possible. read more

Epoxy Crew - Not the best photo, but man in person is it so beautiful. - Flooring Near Me - Concord, California

We had several large cracks in our garage slab and an unusual DIY fix from a prior owner. I cannot reccomend the Epoxy Crew team highly enough. The team set up a consult very quickly for us and Gidon provided lots of information about his process, our options, and his timeline. Once we were scheduled, Gidon and his team showed up promptly, we're extremely thorough and detailed in their work (and happy to communicate with me about all of the steps they were taking), and maintained a clean and safe workspace throughout the project. We met with several contractors before Epoxy Crew and got several very high bids to fully replace our garage floor, etc. I am amazed at the new life Gidon gave to our garage, and the durable surface he created! read more

We found Gidon through his positive Yelp reviews. He responded quickly, was friendly, provided helpful advice, and a very reasonable quote so we decided to go ahead with him immediately. He showed up on time and explained the process thoroughly including what he needed to get done each day to stay on schedule. He worked long days to get the necessary work done and cleaned up completely each evening. He is meticulous in each step - the job took him a bit longer than he expected - three full days - but only because he is a perfectionist. The end result looks great and we would recommend Gidon without reservation. read more

Service 5/5 My friend was in the process of renovating her place in alameda and was looking for a company to redo the floor in her garage. We heard about Epoxy coating and were referred over to Gidon at Epoxy Crew. He was super quick with responses and gave her a great deal (in comparison to a few competitors)! Also was very accommodating with her particular concerns (especially with having young children in the house). He also helped make the decision to go with the epoxy by explaining the differences between epoxy and other options out there. Product 5/5 I went over to take a look at the Epoxy coated garage floor after it was done and it looked great! With little kiddos in the house, tricycles, and other toys always being thrown around, epoxy is a great option to keep the ground protected and keep everything else clean and more scratched-knee safe ! Once I can afford a house or if I have a need to get my floors done, I'll definitely look here! read more

If you are at all interested in doing a new floor for your garage, I highly recommend working with Epoxy Crew. We had an old, cracked and pockmarked garage floor. Gidon at Epoxy Crew patched all the uneven and cracked areas, ground everything down to a smooth surface, and applied an even and beautiful epoxy finish that I'm sure we are going to enjoy for years to come. In addition to the high quality work, two other things stood out from working with Epoxy Crew. First, the timely and informative communication kept us up to speed from start to finish. Upgrading the damaged and unsightly garage floor in our new house in Lafayette seemed like a real challenge, until Gidon came out to visit. He discussed and helped us to understand the various options--epoxy versus polished concrete--and helped us to identify an epoxy option that would be hard-wearing but would look more natural and stone-like than the typical garage epoxy look (i.e. the red and blue speckles embedded in gray epoxy). Gidon's bid was very reasonable, we thought: $8 per square foot--a rate that included all the preparatory work and finishing the concrete sills around the edge of the garage. Gidon's execution of the job couldn't have been more professional. He was clear and communicative throughout and always timely. He worked very, very hard to repair and prepare a damaged concrete floor--filling cracks in the concrete, even removing protruding bits of rebar that were concreted into the original floor. He worked three long days to make the floor look great. He even offered, at what seemed like the end of the job, to apply an additional coat of clear epoxy to make sure that the over-sized epoxy flakes that we'd selected were fully covered, producing a very smooth surface. We gratefully accepted, and he didn't charge a cent extra for the return visit that he paid to apply an additional top coat. All in all, we couldn't be more pleased with the superb job that Gidon did--and would recommend him very highly for concrete/epoxy work. He's a terrific craftsman and professional. read more

I wish I could give "0". The owner Gidon is a rude, unpunctual and an unethical individual. He did my garage floor last year. Looked good initially. Material started flaking out as months go by. I referred him to a few others. All of them told me he had to come back 2-3 times to get it right with marginal results. Be careful, there are several other businesses out there do truly high-quality work that would last for years. I initially gave him a 5star rating like most of the folks here right after the work is done. He always insists you to leave 5star rating right after the work is done. After doing some research, I came across the process of epoxy and Epoxy Crew in specific. I went on their website and requested a free inspection and quote. Their website was easy to use and the response time was phenomenal. Gideon was the one who came to do the inspection and he was very professional and friendly. We decided to use Epoxy Crew to renovate the garage and the outcome was amazing. The floors were nice and shiny, which alone made the garage look like a nice place. My father in law was extremely happy. The best part about the epoxy flooring is that it is not resistant to oil spills.
