Cindy has been making me feel beautiful for over a decade! I had found her Groupon for lash extensions and decided to give them a try. At the very first appointment she went over the basics, care, cleaning, brushing, etc. I have followed her to any location change she's done throughout the years ever since. She is an amazing and knowledgeable esthetician. I'm not ashamed to admit I had quite the 90s pencil eyebrows look going on when we started out. She let me know in the sweetest yet honest way that my eyebrows needed a change. She is warm, welcoming and easy going. When it comes to scheduling she will do her best to work around your schedule and accommodate you as best she can. The way she does eyelash extensions is a true skill. I constantly get compliments on mine and recommend her to everyone I know. Our appointments always seem to go by in the blink of an eye, whether we are catching up on gossip, having a somewhat therapy session on my personal life or she's letting me catch up on much needed sleep during my lash naps. Her timeliness is very important to me because of my work schedule and mom life/finding a babysitter. Nice lady but the skill level, quality, and consistency were just not there. Came here some time ago and about 70% of my lashes fell out within two or three days. She offered to fix it but whenever I tried to reschedule with her it was hard to find a time that worked and she wasn't really following up/responsive. Overall, it wasn't worth the money for me and there are far better places nearby that can give you what you're looking for. read more

Came here to leave a second review because Cindy is just so amazing!! I started out with a more hybrid natural looking set my first time and every time I go in for a fill I ask for a bit more volume each time LOL and Cindy always delivers! People constantly compliment me on my lashes and it genuinely makes me feel so good waking up every day and not having to put on make up and still feeling amazing. The studio is super clean and easy to get to. There's been a few times I had to reschedule or asked for an earlier/later opening and Cindy is always so accommodating. The struggle is REAL for all the ladies with less than awesome eyelashes, and if you're like most people I know you always want more where there is less and of course less where there is more! So besides yelping about awesome food which is always my #1, I'm also very passionate about making sure businesses that aim to please and do a fantastic job are known. Epitome studios is one of those places you wish you had around the block everywhere, but unfortunately you just simply can't find quality and service like that which is what makes this place special. The environment is warm and welcoming when you step in and there is enough natural light to make it really nice and comfortable if you've never been there before. The decor is very neutral and soothing. Refreshments are available and heck there's even an awesome bakery nearby if you want to stuff a cupcake in before the appointment. Mememe! I found this place on Groupon because I was really struggling between justifying hundreds of dollars on delicate hairs that I've been deprived of on my eyelids and crying inside how fed up I was gluing strips of lashes only to have them end up on my forehead the next day (yes I sleep on my stomach, I told you the struggle was real.) so I met halfway and look for the most expensive and highest reviewed eyelash joint I could find and that's how I found Epitome. Now I've been to places like the nail salons where they charge you pretty much the same price only to have them start falling out a few hours later which deterred me from ever wanting to do that again, to slapping on random liquids on my eyelashes not convinced they would magically grow which they didn't. The ladies at the Epitome is that happy medium where you know they won't be permanent, but gosh darn do they look fantastic longer than they should! The first time I went I was absolutely impressed the lashes stayed on a full three weeks and I still continued to get compliments on them even though I should have returned after two weeks. The quality and expert assessment of what they choose to do to your lashes is really why the combination between longevity and output quality exists. Not to mention Megan was awesome. The second time was just as great and Cindy was able to combine a few different thickness and length which is a key point that makes them look so natural. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone who is looking for a great set of lashes to come here. Cindy really shows her knowledge in her work. And since my reviews are never complete without a customer service assessment I will simply say that the two ladies I've been able to get have been awesome and really great to talk to during the appointment. Now of course I understand I'm probably more than average the chatty Cathy but they were able to keep up and execute at the same time fabulous lashes so that speaks for itself. If you're going to spend over an hour anywhere find a place where you feel comfortable and at peace I have no doubt if I decided I want to just walk in there and not say a word they would be fine with that too! I have my third appointment set up and I'm excited to see the combination of what comes out after that. I truly appreciate the attention that is given to customize each individual because that's truly what is needed. No one is the same and it's individuals like the ones who work here that thoroughly understand that and execute it LIKE A BOSS! *tidbit* don't expect the dumb boyfriends/husbands to notice anything different because mine didn't. I'm pretty sure like most men (minus the ones where you guys both share each other's fashion tips, you know which couple you are!) unless you're wearing some drag queen lashes they won't notice the difference. But I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. I got a full color change to my hair once and he asked me if I did something different to my lips (sigh). read more

As soon as me and my sister walked in for our appt, we were greeted by Cindy, the owner of epitome studios. This was our first time getting lash extensions. She made both of us comfortable and educated both of of about the procedure, the difference between the lashes, and length. I thought the lashes would have been a bother, but they are not a hassle. She did mention that it's normal for some lashes to fall off due to the extension being attach to our short lashes. They look awesome! read more

Meg did my lashes for my wedding, and I cannot tell you how many compliments i am STILL getting, a month later !!!!! She did such a phenomenal job. Cindy is a miracle worker!!!! I got married on 9/9/17 and decided to call Cindy the week prior to see if she could fit me in (oops!). She worked with my schedule and was able to do my eyelashes on 9/7/17. She was beyond flexible and kind, which meant so much to me! I had never got my eyelashes done before, so I was pretty nervous, especially with such a big day ahead. As we chatted, I admitted that I don't have a problem with the amount of eyelashes I have or the length, but instead my eyelashes are stick straight. Cindy assured me that would not be a problem. It absolutely was not! Cindy is meticulous with her lash applications and made my eyelashes look extremely natural. Since she applies them at the base, they curled the majority of my eyelashes up with them. The ones that did not curl up were so thin you couldn't even notice them. I got compliments all weekend (and beyond!) as well as constant questions on if they were real or not. I love that people couldn't tell! Cindy is clearly a professional and expert in eyelashes. All three times have been wonderful, and they always make time to squeeze me in, even when I'm looking for an appointment wishing the next day or two. Bought a Groupon for my daughter's wedding for a set and fill at Epitome Salon. They day before the wedding, the day of my appointment she canceled. Imagine my frustration the day before the wedding with no eyelashes from Cindy. Since the Sept. purchased I have been trying to get a refund from Cindy with no luck so far. Speaking with my credit card company we found out it's common with some of these low life merchants to use this tactic as a way of keeping the money they were paid. I would stay as far away from this woman as possible her business practices are unethical. read more
