So this location is a spot to visit if you are a car lover or a lover of vintage styles. The food came out plated perfectly and everything has a cute theme to it even how the silverware is served in little buckets. The waitstaff was kind. Food was flavorful but the only "meh" was it wasn't piping hot - not the coffee or pasta. And the waffle was saturated with syrup so it made it a smidge mushy. This would not stop me from going back and giving it another try it looks like they have a great turn out for happy hour too!

Cute concept and decor. Food was good, waitress was fantastic and super sweet and fun. A little disappointed in the menu... Not sure what all the hype is about to be honest. I really expected more of a variety / more choices on the menu. And that would be my only con/complaint here.

Burger and egg board

I have been here a few times along with their food truck. The food and drinks are always amazing. This time I had the garage nachos are the burger and egg board. The nachos were loaded up and tasty. The burger and egg board was very tasty and a great visual presentation along with flavorful as well. I washed it all down with the caramel dipped apple which was a delicious fall cocktail the have currently. Overall it was another great experience here besides our waiter. Our waiter wasn't the most attentive and only really came around when bringing a plate or drink over and he never asked any of us how we wanted our burgers cooked . That's the only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5, any other day I would have given this place 5.

Our first time here, stopped in for lunch. It was very good. I had the chicken fingers my husband had the Texas chili. The bartender was very nice. My only negative was signing up for the app. It was ridiculous! We never got credit & it still won't show up on our phone. ‍‍

Charcuterie board (special request)

Kristina is the worst. Absolute, worst!!!!! she accommodated everything we asked for and more. I couldn't find a reason to not tip her. I tried to hard, and ended up leaving her a 40% tip because she did so well. We asked for a meat board that allowed us to sample all the different things along with the charcuterie board. She not only said yes, but she had the chef create boards that had never been served before. Was extremely impressed and out extra money due to her hard work and amazing service. This was money well spent and look forward to coming back and asking for another difficult to fill request.

Arrived on a rainy Saturday night. Appreciated the efforts of the hostess to squeeze us in since we had no reservations. High top table was comfortable enough. Loved the garage inspired decor. Waiter greeted us with the standard question "first time here?". Yes it was and I steeled myself for a poorly rehearsed script common to chains. But was surprised by his response. "Why? We've been here 3 years. Why indeed. Not a far drive for us. The salmon bowl was loaded with greens. Cole slaw, black bean and mango salsas and oranges topped with a perfectly cooked generous salmon filet. So good. So filling. Partner loved the chicken pot pie special. Too full for dessert, but took home the blueberry brunch bread. Enjoyed it for breakfast. Long time fan of the chef from the Epicurean in Phoenixville. Glad he's back in fine form.

What a cool place. Decorated like an upscale man cave. Great booths that feel like you're in a car. Nachos were good!

Their pulled pork is good but they insist on including a truly horrendous gloppy coke slaw.

Ask the Community - Epicurean Garage

Is this place open for dine in?

We are not open inside the building for dine in but we have full service dining in our private heated greenhouses outside. Call 610-615-5189 for reservations.

I see a handful of items listed as 'gluten free' on the menu. What measures do you take to avoid cross contamination? Do you have a separate fryer?

We use separate prep spaces for GF and we have a GF dedicated fryer.

Everybody loves (and should love) an outdoor beergarden with occasional live music, good sports, and a wide selection of drinks and menu items for all...BUT this is one of those microcosm places for the downfall of restaurant dining in the modern age: 1) The beer selection is ungodly expensive. $8 for a can of beer? Woof. Bonus points, however, given for Eagles games prices and the addition of some Stables-specific beers (pale ale and another). 2) You really have to review your check. Recently had an experience where my son ordered a burger from the kids menu, then asks him, "For you side, do you want chips or fries?" He answers fries. A few moments later, there's a plate with the burger and chips along with a side plate of fries. I highlight that he asked for fries and they still brought chips and if that's an issue. Server shares that the kitchen likes to still give out chips even if the side is changed since the chips are specially made (and tasty!). The sad part: the server never says that selecting fries is an upcharge. There's nothing on the menu that says fries are an upcharge. But when my son answers the question "would you like chips or fries?" it is assumed that means it's a selection at the same price. It's not. One more thing: they charged more money for a local beer than what was listed. When brought to their attention, the initial server was very understanding and the manager rectified it on the check.

We loved the decorations in the restaurant too, seeing all the local dog portraits on the wall while we were waiting for our table was enjoyable. The food was incredible. We recently moved to Exton and haven't really gotten a chance to spoil ourselves, and White Dog was a great place to do so. We started with the Mushroom Soup, Oysters, and Artisan Cheese Board. All were delicious! One of the things I loved most were the portion sizes. For the price it was only a touch expensive, but for good reason, the entrees were delicious. My girlfriend got the Salmon, I had the Seafood Bucatini, and textures were masterful. The contrast between the tenderness of the shrimp/scallops and the broccoli rabe/parmesean crisps made each bite a truly special experience. I'm going to be dreaming of how light yet flavorful the sauce was too!! The GF is telling me to stop typing but I could go on and on about this meal. Thank you!!! We will be back

At this age and point in history, it takes a bit to phase me, and I will say - I was phased. Without meaning to, I looked her up and down and gave her a stare that must've conveyed, "WTH?" I said my name and that I had a reservation for 3. I was with my mother-in-law who quite clearly has physical disabilities and the hostess asked, "Do you want to wait for the other person in your party?" Um, no, I want to get my elderly and infirm MIL seated. "No, he's parking and will be right in." "Follow me." And she proceeded to take us quite literally to the seating section that was the absolute furthest away from the front door, as my MIL hobbled along behind her. And the place was dead, so there was no need for that lack of sensitivity. Situational awareness, peeps. When we were seated, each of us was given a different menu. One read "Lunch" one read "Brunch" and one read "Dinner'. We flagged someone down and she said, "Oh, I don't know which menu it should be, let me find out." "You've been open for 4 hours and you don't know what menu you're using?" I wondered quietly to myself. Then the waiter arrived, perfectly affable, also in pajamas, and when he left, my MIL asked, "What is going on? What is everyone wearing?" I said, "Pajamas." NOT the nice meal we had in mind for her. The waiter explained it was a tradition because one day, on New Year's Day, the woman who started the restaurant in the 80s had been so drunk she was incapable of adulting and putting on proper clothes to come to work dressed professionally - so to honor her poor life skills and bad choices - all the staff is now forced to wear pajamas on New Year's Day. How nice for the rest of us. I could see that on a day like April Fools or Halloween or "Bring a Drunk Restaurant Owner to Work Day", but not New Year's Day. But hey - whatevs. The least you could do is push this fact out to people so if someone is looking to have a nice meal in a traditional atmosphere to start the new year - they could consent and/or make another choice. Which clearly, we would have. So odd.
