Bicycle all fixed up.

The staff here are not only knowledgeable but also very generous. I have been working on getting my daughters bicycle all set up for safety and there were many parts I wasn't sure I installed properly or couldn't and they offered their hand in helping me get her all squared away so we could go on rides in the beautiful Nisene Marks. Awesome family business!

The staff are friendly and seem very professional. Purchased a Trek bicycle from them for the wife in April during the COVID19 shelter in place so did not expiernce the ideal shopping environment. Things felt a little rushed since there were other customers waiting to be attended. I felt the store was large enough to accommodate three shoppers at a time if they were kept 20 feet apart and the employees brought the products to them. Overall, good service and unbeatable free tune ups for the life of your bicycle.

Great selection of kids bikes

Terrible... just the worst. A monkey would do better repairing a bike than the crew at this shop. Most disappointing and costly.

Without a doubt the best service I have ever received at a bike store. This is where you want to buy your next bike.

Excellent service and customer care. We rented new Treks for a wonderful ride in Nissene Park. Took the shuttle up and it was worth it!!!

These guys are AWESOME! Was going on a bike tour and had a messed up tire. Epicenter Cycling opened up early to fix my bike and away I rode!

Absolutely worth the drive over the hill! ‍…read more Driving to Bicycle Trip in Santa Cruz was 100% worth it! After a terrible experience buying my first e-bike at a shop in Santa Clara, walking into Bicycle Trip was such a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They helped us find the perfect e-bike and an electric bike rack , and we felt supported every step of the way. We were so impressed that we even came back to purchase a lock because we completely trusted their recommendations. Their customer rewards points program is another huge bonus--it's a fantastic way to save money! If you're looking for exceptional customer service, honest advice, and a team that genuinely cares about their customers, I can't recommend Bicycle Trip in Santa Cruz enough! We'll definitely be back!

Hi Aaron, thank you for reaching out personally and for acknowledging what happened. I appreciate…read morethe apology and your offer to make things right. Unfortunately, because I needed my bike and had already waited for my scheduled appointment, I had to take it to another bike shop the same day I picked it up from your shop. They were able to take it in right away, complete what I needed, and get me back on the road. My disappointment really wasn't about the software update itself--it was about making an appointment, dropping my bike off as scheduled, and then finding out two days later that it hadn't even been looked at. I had made the appointment specifically so this wouldn't happen. I do appreciate you taking the time to respond and acknowledge the mistake. I hope this experience helps prevent something similar from happening to another customer. I value good customer service, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of that. Thank you again for reaching out.

He's always loaded with mountain bike tips (he's won a lot of races). Today he even met me and some other riders at the bottom of the mountain with some beers. Bottom line is, if you like mountain biking, you NEED TO catch a lift on Shuttle Smith to the top of Nicene Marks and enjoy one of the world's best rides.

It was a double birthday celebration for myself and my girlfriend and also our third anniversary so I want to do something that we both love. She loves outdoor, I love mountain biking. Dave picked us up on his new shuttle bus from the bike store. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a guided tour around the town as he driving up to our drop off point. The drive was about an hour long and very scenic. Dave was very friendly and funny. Dave gave us a printed map of the trail and gave us pointers for our ride down back to our car at the bike store. The ride down was gorgeous. It was our first time riding through the Redwood forest and it was magnificent. Unfortunately, one of my pedal broke off about 1 mile into the trail. Uphill was a struggle since I had to walk my bike, but coasting down was so much fun. I will definitely plan another trip to ride the Redwood forest again, this time with more people and hopefully no equipment malfunction
