He shuttled us to the top of the trail and gave us a ton of helpful guidance and insider tips that made our day safer, smoother, and way more fun. The bikes we rented were high quality and super comfortable--full suspension made a big difference on the trails. Helmets were included too, which was a nice plus. What an epic day of mountain biking! Totally worth it!!! Me and my 12 yr old only had a half-day set aside for a ride, when I saw that Demo Flow Trail was closed due to storm damage, I called in local expert Tony to guide us. The day started with a nice cup of espresso brewed fresh from his coffee truck. We then shuttled to the forest where Tony quickly gauged our riding ability. He was able to carefully tailor our route to push us to our limits but still enjoy and be safe. Santa Cruz has so much more trail to offer that only locals like Tony knows. Day ended with some beers at his bike shop. The shop itself is a total vibe with antique bikes, a chill out spot, and a full on pump track in the back. Totally recommended and will definitely be back! read more

Excellent experience. Tony was professional and extremely helpful. He was one of the few outfitters in town that would meet us early, before other shops opened. This review is for Tony! Went to bike demo Forrest for the first time this last weekend and decided to skip the shuttle and wheel it up the fire road. After the trek up to the flow trail and amazing descend, I got incredibly lost. After about another hour of climbing and nothing familiar in sight I decided to bomb the hill and end up in town somewhere, or so I figured. Long story short, after about 25 to 30 miles and thousands of feet of climbing and ascending I was at my end. While on a break of what I thought was my demise, here came Tony around the corner. He stopped and asked if I was okay, which I not-so proudly told him no. After telling him where I went to end up where I did he explained how to get back and even agreed to give me a ride back to the bike shop. After screaming hallelujah on the inside I got a ride back to the shop. Not only did he work with me to know where I went wrong, but told me various other ways I could have gone to get to where I needed to get and in a gnarlyer fashion. Extremely knowledgeable and an awesome person, next time will definitely be taking the shuttle and his direction. Thanks tony! read more

Great experience with Tony at Cyclepath. We've used him for several trips, one was to Bend, OR. It's nice having someone else drive with good tunes and DVD's playing for the passengers. His knowledge of the local trails here in the Monterey Penn. is deep. I've had a few guided trips up in the Santa Cruz mountains and was taken to new spots each time. Just back from the 2017 Eldorado Benduro race where Tony was an event sponsor and provided shuttles for the racers. At camp and in his shuttle Tony had every single detail dialed in. From the coffee maker, breakfast oatmeal, extra camp chairs, bike parking, and tools to the iPad in the shuttle playing Rampage footage or reggae music videos and the cooler full of post race refreshments for the ride home, Tony covered everything. Tony was great! A couple buddies rented bikes from him and not only was he very professional and super friendly, to our surprise actually he rode with us. We definitely were not expecting that but it was AWESOME! This was our first ride in the Nisene Marks area so without Tony guiding us to some incredible trails we would've spent most of our day staring at a map trying to figure out where we were at and where to go next. Along the way Tony continually gave us some expert tips and at the end of the ride he even joined us for lunch. I was in Santa Cruz for only a short time, so I also asked him to guide my half-day ride.
