OUR TOUR WAS A NO SHOW AND I AM NOT ABLE TO CONTACT THEM FOR HELP. SCAM! I wish I could leave a zero. I am so upset and tempted to go make this an unprofessional and explicit review. But as tempted as I am, here is a review of my unfortunate and miserable experience. This was a surprise gift for my parent's anniversary and when we arrived to the meeting location there was no sign of anyone from sidecar tours. We had arrived 30 minutes before the meet up time, and as we waited we decided to call them since it looked like no one was coming. We had waited patiently since we came early and assumed they may be running late, but once it was past our meet up time I started getting suspicious and truly upset. I had also went into the business located at the meet up location desperately to find someone that could help me. I called more than 100 times and kept getting sent to voicemail with no ability to leave a voicemail. I contacted their partner, Peek, for some assistance since no one from sidecar tours cared to answer (even though they stated their business hours were 7 days a week till 6pm on their answering machine). They answered but could only offer to send them an email contacting them about our experience, and for them to contact me. I am extremely dissatisfied, and after reading other comments who were also scammed I am worried that I won't even receive a refund for a service i didn't receive. Unbelievable. I hope the business manager, Ryan D. or whoever can do something about this, because this was incredibly unprofessional and very upsetting to have my parent's anniversary end up this way. Unless there is a reasonable explanation about why no one showed up or I am not able to get a refund for a service I did not get, then I expect a FULL REFUND. read more

My friends and I did the wine tour experience and we all had an amazing time. Two people fit per sidecar. The bikes are incredibly clean and it's comfortable sitting in the sidecar. It was amazing riding along the ocean and then in the redwoods on our way to the wineries. Bring a jacket for the wind and gloves to keep your hands warm. We couldn't have asked for better weather, but it's chilly towards the end with the constant wind. Our driver, JD, had the best sense of humor. He made the experience even better by taking several pictures/videos of our group and then texting them to us after. We weren't even done with our adventure and we were already looking at the other sidecar tours we could take. This was a 10/10 experience! read more

Ed was our driver for the Pleasant Valley tour! This was my second time doing this tour and we went to some different places than the first time I did it He was amazing! He took us to a few different wineries (tastings at Lester and Nicolson, then took us to a 3rd winery for the views!) and showed us around the area, telling us about other wineries, olive orchards, and delis! This is my new favorite way to enjoy wine tasting! Murphy was a great driver and informative guide to the Santa Cruz wine stops. We loved our ride through the forest and marveled at the giant redwoods and how quickly the forest is recovering from the 2020 fires. We had to laugh at the helmets and goggles! Our last stop at the Roadhouse was delicious with live music and great burgers. We stayed and watched the sunset. A perfect day. read more

Ok, I just have to say how much fun hubby and I had on this tour! We got picked up by a super nice and friendly man named Jaydy who was pleasantly dressed dapper style! Riding in the sidecar was SO MUCH FUN! It does get a little chilly so a sweater is recommended. But it was the best day date ever!! We went to a winery about 10 mins away. It was obvious they had a great relationship with the winery. Staff was knowledgable and our wine and food were brought out promptly in addition to being checked on at the exact moments we needed something. The scenery was amazing at the winery and throughout the whole tour. Highly highly highly recommend taking advantage of this adventure with your significant other or friends. My wife and I had an amazing time on the East Side beer tour with Sidecar. The bikes are amazing. They are super classic and clean looking and the sidecar is very comfortable! I'm pretty tall and fit no problem at all. Theres no better way to cruise along the ocean and see Santa Cruz, all while stopping at some of the best breweries and taprooms in town. Mike was an great tour guide: funny, knowledgeable, and friendly. He gave us great recommendations not only for drinks, but other landmarks and restaurants to check out in the Santa Cruz area. My friends and I booked as afternoon tour to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. It was my gift to him. We planned our whole day/trip around the tour. When we showed up there was nobody there. We were early so we waited patiently thinking they were on a different tour and they'd come back. After 15 minutes I went inside the meeting point and inquired. The bartender told me that the company had packed up and left the day before. So I called them and was told our tour was cancelled. We got no notice from them about that. Thankfully when I called someone answered and we ended up getting out money back. But we'd spent almost 2 hours bettering there, waiting and then driving back. Do not book here. We were originally scheduled at 1:30pm, but about 12pm we received a message saying in order to give us a better experience they were going to have to move our group to 2pm. We showed up at 2pm and no one was there. When we called the company they said the drivers should be there, but they were not. At about 2:40pm we finally saw the drivers pulling up to the parking lot. When we told them about our time change they seemed to have been confused. By the time we got everything straightened out according to the drivers we only had time for one wine tasting. So out of the three wine tastings we were promised we only were able to do one tasting. This was a total bust. Very disappointed. Our first visit was cancelled due to rain. OK that's fair. The second time we went NOONE SHOWED TO PICK US UP. After 20 minutes my wife talked to someone who said they couldn't find guides who could do the tour. No notification or a heads up that we didn't have a tour. The venue where we supposed to meet said 3 other groups had the same issue recently. Very poor customer service. Hell, NO customer service. They don't even deserve one star. read more
