This is my new favorite way to enjoy wine tasting! Murphy was a great driver and informative guide to the Santa Cruz wine stops. We loved our ride through the forest and marveled at the giant redwoods and how quickly the forest is recovering from the 2020 fires. We had to laugh at the helmets and goggles! Our last stop at the Roadhouse was delicious with live music and great burgers. We stayed and watched the sunset. A perfect day.

This was nothing but fun! Thank you, Ed, for an excellent brewery tour in Santa Cruz. From goggles to the full sidecare adventure, we had a blast. I have nothing but praise for the whole process of booking our tour to the excellent communication leading up to the day of or tour; outstanding. The staff is top-notch, accommodating, and polished professionals. We can't wait to come back for a wine tour.

Ed was our driver for the Pleasant Valley tour! This was my second time doing this tour and we went to some different places than the first time I did it He was amazing! He took us to a few different wineries (tastings at Lester and Nicolson, then took us to a 3rd winery for the views!) and showed us around the area, telling us about other wineries, olive orchards, and delis! Would definitely recommend having him take you around!

Our sidecar tour with Ed was off the charts! He personalized our tour, showed use the beautiful scenery & of course there was wine. Without a doubt will put it on the books again!

We had a great time. Good wine great company beautiful day and our driver Ed was top notch

    Santa Cruz wine country

We wish we could give Ed 1,000 stars! We had the BEST time touring Santa Cruz wine country in his sidecar motorbike. Ed was a lovely guide: attentive, kind, funny and thoughtful. Our tour hit all of the joy-points: exhilarating, stunning and delicious! Don't hesitate to schedule for yourself or a group, soooooooo much fun! xx

We had such a fantastic time with Sidecar Tours recently! From the start, the entire experience was so much fun. We were a group of 4 and shared to sidecars. We stopped at two different vineyards and got to ride through the beautiful redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We ended the day with a bottle of fine and charcuterie boards in Davenport. Such a fun experience, I'd definitely recommend it!

I had the absolute best time, met some really great people, drank some outstanding wine, and enjoyed every single store I went into that participated in the event. The event was very well done, super organized, and there was a ton of selection, which was very impressive. Only two places had something other than wine, that being three different kinds of beer then another place had two different kinds of cider. And yes, I tried all the beer, all the cider and as much wine as I could get my hands on! They had so many vendors that it was literally impossible to make it to all of them in the time frame given for the event. I found it really creative and super helpful that they pinned an orange balloon outside of every single art gallery or store that was participating in the event so we could determine which place to go next by simply by standing on the street. I also loved the commemorative stemless wine glass they gave out with each ticket purchase. The weather was beautiful, the wines were delicious (oh! And some stores even had snacks for us to enjoy, which was a very thoughtful touch). What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday! I absolutely loved it and will be back next year for sure :) 5 Stars ALL THE WAY.

And…read moreon my recent Santa Cruz getaway, I spontaneously dropped in to the downtown SC winery location. What a great experience! It was meant to be and I love when serendipity happens. Cute, small, intimate tasting room. Beautiful art work visible as you enter. Classy! And a sweet welcoming smile from Charmaine who was front and center behind the counter as we entered. Feeling good vibes already. I explained my long time enjoyment of the Storrs wines... being introduced to them when I began my love of Santa Cruz and my many trips there. The area restaurants, of course, carry the Storrs wines. Which is where I first encountered these great tasting wines. We selected a table in the front of the tasting room. A lovely, peaceful setting under trees with autumn red and gold leaves. Perfect! It was a weekday and no one else was tasting. Late September... such a perfect time to visit. Leisurely tasting. Awesome! Charmaine was well informed of everything about the wines and owners. Husband and wife met at UC Davis in the Oenology Department. The rest is history. I tasted the flagship, so- to-speak, Chardonnay and a fabulous Sauvignon Blanc which were so gooood. But also two, soon-to-be-released, reds which were beyond lovely. Tasting note descriptions included of the wines I tasted (photo). Storrs has also opened a much larger venue for tasting a few miles south of Santa Cruz. Outdoorsy! Next trip I will be checking that out for sure! In the meantime, I will be enjoying my wine purchases from this great visit! Thank you, Charmaine, for an unforgettable afternoon. And yes, a couple of bottles of wine left with me!:) Cheers!

She seated us out in the back and it was really cute. She told us about the birds and all the little nature things around that we should enjoy while we were there. This made it a nicer experience, as it was sort of industrial... Not in a bad way... in a old fashioned Urban redevelopment kind of way. It was interesting. She was very knowledgeable about the wine and the owners and how they had built their business and we enjoyed learning all of that. It was a very nice experience and story. We enjoyed the wines that we tasted, and when we left, the tasting room was full. It seems like many people know about this winery and frequent it often. I recommend a stop at Storrs. It's unique!

Visited in October on a nice warm afternoon and sat outside on their tasting patio. Now let's be honest, the tasting area isn't anything special, you're in a small roped off area in a parking lot, but that's not what it's about here, it's about the wine and the service. They had two flights to choose from, the standard - which at the time was one white and five reds, and the cold which was six whites. I opted for the standard and my mom the cold so we could try each other's. Both flights were filled with a variety of unique wines you don't see often in the Santa Cruz mountains. Our tasting host was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and grapes, and provided a great deal of information on each. Love some good wine education when I'm sipping! I wish I remember our tasting associates name because she deserves a shoutout for how great she was! At the end of the tasting both of our favorites were the Chenin blanc and bobcat blanc. Maybe it was the warm weather, but there was just something about those white wines! Ultimately came home with two bottles of the Chenin blanc, excited to drink one and use the other for some fondue!
