My friends and I did the wine tour experience and we all had an amazing time. Two people fit per sidecar. The bikes are incredibly clean and it's comfortable sitting in the sidecar. It was amazing riding along the ocean and then in the redwoods on our way to the wineries. Bring a jacket for the wind and gloves to keep your hands warm. We couldn't have asked for better weather, but it's chilly towards the end with the constant wind. Our driver, JD, had the best sense of humor. He made the experience even better by taking several pictures/videos of our group and then texting them to us after. We weren't even done with our adventure and we were already looking at the other sidecar tours we could take. This was a 10/10 experience!

This was nothing but fun! Thank you, Ed, for an excellent brewery tour in Santa Cruz. From goggles to the full sidecare adventure, we had a blast. I have nothing but praise for the whole process of booking our tour to the excellent communication leading up to the day of or tour; outstanding. The staff is top-notch, accommodating, and polished professionals. We can't wait to come back for a wine tour.

Ed was our driver for the Pleasant Valley tour! This was my second time doing this tour and we went to some different places than the first time I did it He was amazing! He took us to a few different wineries (tastings at Lester and Nicolson, then took us to a 3rd winery for the views!) and showed us around the area, telling us about other wineries, olive orchards, and delis! Would definitely recommend having him take you around!

This is my new favorite way to enjoy wine tasting! Murphy was a great driver and informative guide to the Santa Cruz wine stops. We loved our ride through the forest and marveled at the giant redwoods and how quickly the forest is recovering from the 2020 fires. We had to laugh at the helmets and goggles! Our last stop at the Roadhouse was delicious with live music and great burgers. We stayed and watched the sunset. A perfect day.

We had a great time. Good wine great company beautiful day and our driver Ed was top notch

Santa Cruz wine country

We wish we could give Ed 1,000 stars! We had the BEST time touring Santa Cruz wine country in his sidecar motorbike. Ed was a lovely guide: attentive, kind, funny and thoughtful. Our tour hit all of the joy-points: exhilarating, stunning and delicious! Don't hesitate to schedule for yourself or a group, soooooooo much fun! xx

Our sidecar tour with Ed was off the charts! He personalized our tour, showed use the beautiful scenery & of course there was wine. Without a doubt will put it on the books again!

We had such a fantastic time with Sidecar Tours recently! From the start, the entire experience was so much fun. We were a group of 4 and shared to sidecars. We stopped at two different vineyards and got to ride through the beautiful redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We ended the day with a bottle of fine and charcuterie boards in Davenport. Such a fun experience, I'd definitely recommend it!

Brion, our guide was very knowledgeable about Santa Cruz history, the restaurants we visited and even the processes used for making the ice cream and craft chocolate at a couple of the stops. A++ Fantastic! Best…read moretour ever! Why have you not signed up yet?! I love, love, love the Santa Cruz Food Tour. In fact, I love it so much, I've gone 4 times- on the SAME tour. It's that good. And Brion, the owner/tour guide is seriously great. He's incredibly knowledgeable about the Santa Cruz area, the history behind it, and the local restaurants dined at during the tour. Here are some of the highlights you get on the tour: + Brion - totally awesome host! + Tons of history of the Santa Cruz area, the REAL facts behind the SC Mission, history of the railway system, facts about the beautiful architecture surrounding downtown, and much, much more! + Insanely great food at local restaurants - all restaurants Brion has picked on this tour have a story behind them, area local to the area, and are DELICIOUS One of the best things about this tour is that although I'm semi-local to Santa Cruz, I learned SO much I hadn't previously known about the areas and dined at places I never would have otherwise. This tour opens up new ways to enjoy the Santa Cruz area. Although it's the same tour each time I've attended, I've learned a little more about the area, tried something slightly different then I did before, and got to enjoy this fantastic experience with someone new each time. :) TIP: Book as early as possible because the tour dates fill up FAST.

Update: got a phone call from the owner Raina...I should say 2 and the last one she stated she will…read morecontinue to call me until she gets a person... when I did call back and instead of hello there it was a well... not so politely.. her response is below... which honestly I agreed to change my star but no compensation nor a really good apology... it was more I want to destroy a small company and their family etc hmmmm why would I want to destroy a small company if I own one myself... 1st... never did I dish the Captain or the assistance Darcy so your response is so bogus. 2nd commonsense, I never expected your team to pull a shark out of a hat... so ridiculous to even say that and that was not my purpose of the 1 Star like I explained to you... it was you advertise to go to a certain place and that I called and ask and stated which time frame I should go because I wanted to visit the Shark Park of course if the weather permits it.. not that I expected your crew to make Make miracles. 3rd why would I call the company if it was the first place I called to ask for their advise she told me to take the mid-morning and later I find out it was the owner (Raina) whom I spoke with. Now she is saying it's the mid day but what's funny on there website for mid-day states "IF the sun permits we will go to the shark park"... I'm posting a pic of their mid-day only to show what is now being recommended after the fact I took the tour.. Word of advice Raina as a owner of a small business myself.. you don't fight with a costumer and blame the costumer like you were doing it with me... you make it right... I get some negative remarks but I don't count the mins they talk.. I listen and wait until their done... I use their feed back to improve or make changes and be apologetic. I even ask my clients for their opinion how can i improve myself and my company. Trust me it changes the whole conversation and at the end we are both happy and they call me again for my business and without me asking they change my rating.. it's what you call communication and not act unprofessional. THE ONE STAR REMARK DID NOT GO TO THE CREW.. I WILL GIVE THEM 100 STARS...THE ONE STAR WENT DIRECTLY TO THE PERSON WHO HELPED ME OVER THE PHONE... WHO GAVE ME FALSE INFORMATION AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT WHICH LATER YOU YOURSELF TOLD ME IT WAS YOU... that's were my 1 Star goes to... *****Really bummed with this company... Sea Spirt ocean Safari is the name of the company... they are a new company the crew was nice but false advertisement.. I just took a 3 tour with them.. let me just say if you just want to go see Whales, Seals, Sea Otters and stand still for about 20 mins and let them slowly explain about the otters and to see some brown sea weed looking thing just to kill time then this is the company to go too. If i personally wanted to go see this... then I would have gone to the regular Company I normally will go to... or selected a company closer to my area... like Im San Francisco pier 39.. they offer all this... The reason why I selected this company was because it advertised the Great White Shark... and i was told by one of their employees...if i would take the morning trip you get to go to the Shark Park and see Great White sharks... if you selected the 1pm then it was a 50/50 chance of going...well I got played... I drove two hours just so I can see some Great White Sharks and that never happened... when asked if we were going....the assistance said no because we spend to much time seeing whales... like wth really...so why advertise it... So the rest of ride I was hella bummed because I was so excited to go to the shark park.. What an "Ocean Safari" tour it was.... Don't get me wrong I love whale watching, sea Otters etc but when a company advertise something and doesn't complete it well its false advertisement on their website to the people answering the phones... I know I'm not the only one.. there was also a group of 6 that showed up and they were bummed too.. who knows how many more people where bummed... the funny part of it all is that they decided to take us out again to see a whale one last time lol but we have no time to see a shark... I would have understood if it was a weather issue but it wasn't I gave 1* not because of the crew but because I had to otherwise I couldn't post..

My boyfriend and I went on the Capitola Food Tour after getting a groupon for it, and it's been one…read moreof the best groupon purchases we've made! Brian, the tour guide, is full of a wealth of historical and foodie knowledge. I've lived in Santa Cruz for about 6 years and had never heard most of the stuff he told us! We went for the food, but got a fascinating history lesson in the process! During our tour we visited the following locations: Bloomsbury Tea Room Paradise Beach Grille Shadowbrook Gayle's Bakery The Tea Room had a yummy selection of scones with amazing jams and lemon curd. There were finger sandwiches and quiches, along with a large selection of teas. At Gayle's we had a yummy chocolate treat, and learned all about the history of the bakery. Paradise Beach Grille (which you should go to even if you don't take this tour) was amazing as always with a delightful shrimp dish. From there we made our way to Shadowbrook where we had delicious pork sliders and a scrumptious salad while learning all about the fascinating history of the restaurant and the site itself. Any of these restaurants are worth checking out by themselves, so to eat at all four of them is a real treat! Note: it looks like the tour now goes to Geisha Sushi instead of Gayle's Bakery - if there was any place that could be an acceptable substitute for Gayle's, it's Geisha! Love that place too! We loved the tour so much we forced all our parents to go on the Santa Cruz tour with us!

The day I went on his tour the sun was shining and Capitola never looked better. The food on this tour was ample and soooo tasty. My favorite was the tea room we visited. So thoughtful and tasty. Our guide really knew his stuff and as a result I will never look at Capitola the same way again. These folks also have a Santa Cruz tour. That's next on my to-do list. I recommend this for friends, couples and families. A great afternoon!
