Warm chocolate torte--obviously it was our anniversary

Amazing food, great environment. More than just food, it's an experience. Jamie Keating does nothing except exceptional.

Celebrating our daughter's birthday here. We reserved the back dining room and were treated like royalty. The 7 course meal was exquisite. The best 3 star Michelin in Columbus.

We celebrated our anniversary and we loved everything about this restaurant, from ambiance, service, food, etc. It is on the pricier end, but I think it's well worth it. Their menu changes often which I love. We will definitely return. This place is by far my favorite restaurant in Columbus.

Coastal Seafood Ceviche

Intimate setting to have a fancy dinner out with your loved one. Service was superb. I noticed that we had multiple people taking care of our table, which was not a problem at all. All staff were very attentive and professional. We ordered from the 4 course menu: 1. Coastal Seafood Ceviche - It had a nice little kick to it. I just came back from Mexico last month and this was one of the many dishes that I missed. Perfect dish for a starter. 2. Octopus Togarashi and Pei Mussels - I loved loved loved the octopus!! I've never had such tender and savory-smokey like flavored octopus. I was expecting some spice from the togarashi but really didn't taste any (but it was still very delicious)! Each ingredient on the dish had a very distinct taste. I would say that the mussels were a little more on the salty side, which became even more overpowering when eaten with the wasabi tobiko. 3. Plantation Quail and Sausage Roulade - A southern dish with a Mediterranean twist. Loved it. 4. "Coffee and Doughnuts" - A simple dessert with doughnut bites that paired very well with coffee panna cotta.

Fruit tart

This was our first time at Epic and it was as incredible as we thought it'd be. We started off with great cocktails. The one pictured was called "Island Ice" and came out with a smoking effect. It was served by the bartender who actually came to our table. On a side note, this was one of the coolest things to us. Everyone was all hands on deck. Our server was awesome and checked on us constantly, but we were given our bread by one person, entree by another, dessert by more. It was awesome that it was an "all hands on deck" kind of feel. At no point did we not have something we needed. Of course the food was excellent, but it was also cool how they made it a "chapter" and even brought the silverware in a book. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The seafood was a hit, and we were amazed by the intricate designs of the plate. There were awesome touches like whipped feta, banana fritters, and fried sweet potatoes that really stood out. The chef came out and chatted for a bit, and it was the epitome of fine dining. We will 1000% be back, and I can truly say it was worth every penny. This is a gem in Columbus, and it lives up to the hype.

Delightful experience from service, food, to ambiance. We had yellowtail, foie gras, Caesar salad, strip, mahi and scallop, and duck confit - all were perfectly prepared with dynamic flavors and cohesiveness. The desserts were a dream - pana cotta, pecan cake - presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. The amazing cocktails and superb service topped off our night. Overall, wonderful experience and we will definitely be back

Excellent vintage cocktail menu and presentation. This was the first time I had a smoke bubble cocktail.

The staff creates an amazing dining experience and is very attentive. Try the vintage cocktail menu. This drink has a smoke bubble!

Bioli Pasta and Lobster Bisque

I'll start with a positive! Service was great - at least at the beginning! My husband had the tuna tartare, lobster bisque, duck, and banana dessert. I had beet tartare (it was very...earthy as beets are but it literally was just raw beets with a stale cracker on top?), Bigoli pasta (that was cold, a little hard, and the sausage was meh), NY Strip (steak itself was decent but the sides were laughable with literally no flavor), and the chocolate torte tasted like a little debbie met a sad brownie. The berries on it were fresh though! The lobster bisque was also good. My husband said his duck was also decent but the veggies on the side were basically raw (not sure if that's on purpose but the sides were rock hard potatoes & peas). For a price tag of over $200, all we got was some giggles about how bad it was, unfortunately.

I can't say enough great things about this restaurant, Jamie and the rest of the staff. If we lived closer this would be a regular restaurant for us. On our last visit we found out the cater! I'll be looking into them for our next big gathering! We've eaten at the chefs table three times and each time has been amazing!! I've tried so many great dishes & new food, that I would have normally never tried! The staff is amazing and makes you feel like part of the family! I highly recommend the dining room or the chefs table! You won't regret it!

Everything about this restaurant is Epic. We only go about once a year because it is expensive but man is it worth it when you go.

Food, service...this place is the best restaurant in town and it's not close. It is pricy, so it's only a special occasion place for us.

Was told by my colleagues that the Parker house rolls and cinnamon butter was great. I had the summer salad (spring greens, cherries, strawberries, and a HUGE knot of burrata cheese, with an additional grilled salmon). This salad was incredible. Highly recommend! The table shared some deviled eggs. The pickled onions on the deviled eggs was so good. Everyone dipped their fries in the chili crisp oil and agreed it was one of the best flavor combos of the trip. Our server gave us an extra side of it and gave my friend a side of kimchi to add to his burger. Just great all around service and vibe. While the restaurant feels like the height of 2015-2020 design (let's road trip in our sprinter van to a shipping container cottage!), everything feels airy and good to be there

Later that Wednesday evening, as the restaurant settled into a softer, more intimate glow, we opted…read morefor the main dining room rather than the rooftop. The hostess was warm and efficient, seating us immediately. Our server approached with the quiet confidence of someone who knows her craft--she was direct, professional, and all business in the best possible way. Even as closing time drew near, she kept my glass refreshed without needing to be asked, a small but telling detail that spoke volumes about her attentiveness. The space itself strikes a pleasant semi-formal note--clean, polished, and respectful without veering into stuffy territory. Behind the bar, the bartender was meticulously wiping down every bottle, a quiet display of care that set a tone of genuine pride in the operation. We began with a dozen oysters: six raw and six char-grilled. The raw specimens were on the petite side for the price, yet delivered a clean, bright, and pleasantly saline flavor that let the oyster speak for itself. The char-grilled version arrived with a savory Parmesan crust that brought its own appealing character--rich, cheesy, and nicely caramelized in a way that felt unique rather than derivative. The crab dip, however, was a standout. Far superior to the often disappointing versions we've encountered elsewhere, this one tasted of genuine lump crab meat, folded into a properly cheesy, indulgent dip that avoided any unfortunate "buffalo" detours. Served with crisp crostini, each bite was balanced and deeply satisfying--an authentic crab dip done right. The Korean cheesesteak offered an excellent harmony of flavors: tender, well-seasoned meat beneath a luxurious blanket of melted cheese, punctuated by the bright, spicy kick of kimchi and the refreshing snap of pickles. It was delicious, though for the price, I wished for a more generous filling and a bit more heft to the sandwich overall. The mac & cheese arrived in a commendably generous portion, with a beautiful Parmesan crust on top. Visually appealing, the dish unfortunately fell a touch flat on the palate. The noodles were properly cooked and coated in a creamy sauce, yet it lacked the depth and seasoning one hopes for-- a pinch more salt and pepper would have elevated it considerably. The fish and chips presented a towering mound of fries that carried decent flavor but lacked the shattering crispness one craves. The real disappointment lay in the presentation of the fish: two fillets stacked atop one another, causing the steaming heat to turn the once-promising breading soggy and prone to sliding off. That said, the fish itself was excellent--flaky, moist, and delicately sweet with a lovely buttery quality. It was the unfortunate interaction between steam and crust that kept the dish from greatness. The roads were a little dense, so not necessarily my particular style, but I'm good. The butter that came with them was very unique to say the least. To drink, both beers arrived filled to the absolute brim and proved so enjoyable that I would gladly order them again without hesitation. Overall, the evening delivered solid, thoughtful plates in a well-run environment, with several bright spots that make a return visit tempting--particularly for those oysters and that excellent crab dip.

When I search reviews on a business before going, I don't just accept them at face value, but rather, read them and determine if the reviewers are just entitled brats. lol Now that being said: here we go... ha ha This place was the worst experience I can recall with a business in nearly 50 years of life. It was very cold outside, and looking at the online pics looked like it was open-air seating only. So I called them to ensure there was also indoor seating at this cool looking bar. It was 8pm. The man reassured us there were indoor seating options. He then asked "are ya'll coming tonight?" I replied that we were. He then said "how long?" I then asked what time they closed. He replied at 10pm. A little perplexed, I let him know we were on the way. Red flag #1. I told my husband I didn't want to feel rushed out the door if they were trying to close early and didn't really get the vibe they wanted our business. He suggested we just give them a try anyway. When we pulled up, we noticed maybe 3 cars in the parking lot of this very big property. Red flag #2. As we entered the hotel, the gentleman asked us if we called about the bar. We said yes and he directed us to the entrance doors. The entrance was essentially the exit... to the outdoors. HAHA It was approx 40 degrees outside. As my husband and I looked a little perplexed, a female approached where we were standing, never even looked at us or acknowledged us in ANY way and said to the gentleman, "WHAT DO THEY WANT?" He informed her we were there for the bar. We asked where the indoor seating was. Y'ALL... this man took us back in the hotel lobby and pointed at the lobby area. You want us to eat a late dinner and have drinks at this cool looking bar, but in actuality we sit where patrons eat their continental breakfast and are served by someone who has all but said "why are you here?" What?? So... my husband and I said no thank you and went to Cowboy Town which is a very short drive away. Please go there instead. Great food and drinks with a super cool small town vibe, live music, and barrel racing most weekends. Maybe when the weather is warm and the pool is open, The View would be a cool establishment. But it needs to be seasonal only and absolutely closed the remainder of the year. Bless it. I do believe the reviews you see are mostly BS. Please pay very close attention to the details of them.
