Epic Mountain Express is, without a doubt, the standard in mountain transportation in the United States. The only transportation companies that are consistently ranked superior are probably covering trivial distances, like the 5 miles from the Aspen airport to the town of Aspen. This has to be the widest network with the most vehicles serving the most mountains over the greatest distance; I don't think it's even comparable or "ratable" in the traditional sense. You'll get where you want to go, there's a discount for Epic pass holders, they have a totally reasonable refund policy, and can often accommodate last-minute changes. Some people may be disturbed by the low ratings, but when you consider the number of parties served without an issue *every day* easily exceeds the number of reviews ever left, hopefully the decision to use this company becomes a lot easier. read more

My experience overall was 5 stars, the driver was very kind and helpful, the van was comfortable and spacious, and the price was great. Though I do have a few things I wish the company could do differently. I chose the 'Standard Shared Shuttle' option for a 6:00am pickup from Beaver Creek to Denver International Airport. My shuttle was about 20 minutes late to pick me up, I'm not complaining about this, but I did get a little worried that something was wrong. My point is, I could not call the customer support number to confirm my pickup because they do not open until 7:00am and I did not get a text saying my driver was late until 10 minutes after the pickup time. In conclusion, It would be great if the customer support could open an hour earlier or there be an after hours number for paid customers, I also would've liked to get a text message saying my ride was going to be late before or at the time of my pickup. Overall great service, would definitely recommend and will be using this service again. read more

It was the finest transport of its type I have ever experienced. -The driver, Brad, was supremely professional - a smooth, safe operator and an all around nice guy. The time flew by. Totally easy process. We booked online a few weeks prior, received confirmation texts and emails. The day before we received a text saying to call them if our plans changed. The day of we received texts that they were either there and ready to pick us up-or-they were running late. Either way, loved the text updates! The only thing is I WISH you could text back. One of our flights got canceled and they were rerouting us all over the airport and we had back to back planes with no layovers so I didn't have the time to call to let them know we would be late. It would have been so much easier to just text them back to communicate. But our dispatcher was on top of it, seeing that our flight was canceled and she did call to see what the situation was so they was great! We will recommend this shuttle service to anyone coming out this way, we enjoyed it. read more

Just save you frustration and time. They are so understaffed. They don't answer calls or call you back. Be warned if travel goes a little sideways and you expect this horrible company to be anything but a pure frustration to deal with you will be disappointed. Peak 1 offers better times and will answer the phone. Vail resorts reports record profits and their service is horrible, don't let the fake marketing fool you. My boyfriend made the arrangements, so I was literally just 'along for the ride' but I was pleasantly surprised at how well organized and efficient CME was, how friendly their staff was, and how smooth the entire process was. All four hours of the drive. Yes, I did say four hours! Because of the snow and the roads, etc... it did take almost four hours, but hey - they put safety first, so I can't complain. The van was full but the others were friendly and we made the best of the situation. Nice to meet you John, Heather, Lynn, and a few others too. Thanks for putting up with my boyfriend's humor along the way. I liked the place we stopped - clean bathroom and plenty of snacks to choose from. You can't go wrong with that! At $80 bucks a head, I thought it was a bit pricey, but so is everything related to the sport of skiing, right? I'll update my review after my trip back on Sunday, but as of now, I'd give 5 stars to CME for service and safety - 3 stars for price... and with that, I'm out - it's beautiful here! read more

Frightening customer service. Thought we had booked direct but went through a 3rd party. Arrived several hours early and given no earlier shuttles would have had to wait 2+ hours in the airport. Went to the counter, canceled, no partial or full refund even though a line of people waiting to take our spots. So they were paid twice and refused a partial or full refund. When explained they were now paid twice for the seats they quoted their company policy of not refunding ever. For 2 people, Uber and Lyft faster, private and less expensive. No reason ever to take them. Stick with Uber or Lyft, so much more expedient, better service, more comfortable and private for the same or less money. Their customer service was beyond disappointing. read more

I opted to not rent a car this time from Denver to Breckenridge and looked at shuttles for the first time ever. I had booked online and seemed fairly easy and received a confirmation via text & email. The check in process was fine at the airport, but the porters are less than courteous, seem like hey have no clue and are rude. If you don't have many bags, they are useless other than walking you to the departure zone. We had a van full of 9 passengers and the driver was training for our route. One passenger jumped on last minute and she was the only person who had to stop for a coffee, making us late to pick up our ski rentals that closed at 6. We left the airport at 3:30 & should have easily made the 6:00 appointment in breck, even with a passenger drop off in keystone. The return trip with Andy was much smoother & he was great. We departed Breckenridge with 8 passengers and made it to the airport in 2 hours, even with weather conditions on the road. Very hit or miss. I would give 1 Star for departure and 4 stars for Andy. read more

This is the email I sent tonight: Someone should have called, texted and emailed me to let me know that my driver was canceling. It wasn't until I landed in Denver, waited for my bags and proactively called dispatch that I found out I had no ride. And by the way all the hotels are booked. And it's about 1 am. This is ridiculous. If you would have notified me as soon as the driver knew he couldn't take me, I may have had a chance at booking a hotel. I understand if weather conditions wouldn't have permitted us to drive to Breckenridge tonight. But not even attempting to tell me?? That's the part that has me baffled. Someone please call me as soon as possible to explain what time I will be picked up. I have called 20 hotels and they are all booked. So I have no idea how far out I will have to drive to get a hotel room. I will email you when I find a hotel to let you know where to pick me up in the morning. It's very irresponsible for you to put me in this position as a single woman traveling alone. Update: Called back this morning and spoke to a very rude supervisor named Addison. She was not apologetic for the mistakes made by her team in the least bit. She was sarcastic and did not employ any customer service best practices. This company needs better staff training.
