The owner took our order and went out of his way to help me select a "milder than mild" sauce. I am no longer able to tolerate very spicy foods which is a shame because the peri sauce is extremely flavorful. My husband always opts for the spiciest or nearly spiciest option and had his usual 1/4 dark chicken but chose flame-grilled corn on the cob, which was good but not the same as his usual rice. I decided to opt for the Falafel Rice with the lemon pepper sauce. I was not disappointed. The owner also provided us with a generous serving of hummus and pita on the house - a nice complement to the meal. I love that the food is prepared fresh and not sitting there waiting for me. It may take a bit of time but it is worth it. The new owner and staff are very friendly and happy to answer questions. The food is very good. I will say back in 2015, the toast was much bigger, the chicken strips were larger to the point where it was hard to even close the box, but I get it. It's hard times for everyone in this economy. Still love me some raising canes! I want to note that I enjoyed each interaction I had with the three employees in the front. They were so cheerful and nice asking if it was our first time there and asking if we needed anything else before we left. Whereas other places just see customers as just another number. I really appreciated that. Oh! And also genuine smiles. Keep it up!
