My local FB group posted a quick review of the cinnamon rolls so I had to check for myself. When I got there, no rolls were in the display case. I was just about to try something else when the person working the register told me there were some that had just been baked. I ordered two because. I walked back to my car to enjoy them by the fall leaves like a bootleg Hallmark movie. They were delicious. Soft and fluffy, lightly glazed, and not overly sweet. I loved them. So much so I went back the next day but they only had them unglazed. So I had to pass. Side note: they also have the festive Canada Dry flavors you only find during the holidays. Love that. This is a cute neighborhood spot. You can even see the ladies in the back kneading the dough and making the pastries. I'll def be back to support it! Rundown: -Pastries to suit everyone's tastes -They take credit cards albeit with a small fee -Order and take to go

Todays was at leisure and while passing by made an impromptu stop and decided to check out this bakery. Run by a mother son duo , it's a cute bakery selling authentic Mexican pastries. The ambience is nothing fancy . The standard display case showcasing their pastries , which are not seemingly very attractive, but their service wraps it all up into a pretty package. They have a coffee station and a cooler with sodas and other cold beverages Conchas, Sweet roll, Gusanitos , Sweet empanadas , croissants, Dressed Concha's , Tostadas, Sweet corn muffin and cake. Many of these were new to me. But I wanted to try the sweet roll and dressed mini Chocolate Concha's . They gave us complimentary vanilla topped concha's and a sweet corn muffin to try . Nothing was cloyingly sweet . Simple basic flavors but baked to perfection. Sweet roll and cone muffin was nothing unique but was a good combo with hot coffee. The concha's topping was the sugary based icing that made the pastry texture interesting. Crisp sugar coated exterior with a soft interior. I found different from anything i have tried before. I felt all pastries were a bit eggy for my taste , but it may be the nature of the pastry itself. They cater for events and among other things they make colorful Corazonchas which are heart shaped concha's that could be a good substitute for standard cookies at a gathering. I would recommend trying this spot to get a taste of Mexican style pastries.

They have a wonderful selection of sweets - especially the raspberry, apricot, and chocolate filled sandwich cookies. Also pastries and breads. All the traditional stuff and then some. The shoppe is well laid out- once you walk in, sweets to the right, savory to the left. Service is efficient and professional. Prices may be higher than some expect, but we've found it worth it for their selection of what we like. Have not yet tried their prepared foods. There is no seating, so this is a grab and go place. Traffic can be a bear depending what time of day you go there - but if they have what you want, it's totally worth it. We'll be back...(over and over again!)

This was my second visit, and once again, everyone was incredibly patient and nice. The atmosphere is bright yet cozy, they have plenty of books and a lot of room to catch up with friends or settle in for some work. This time around, we tried the Coco Cloud Matcha. If you enjoy fun and funky beverages, this is a must; it's a blend of coconut water and matcha that somehow tastes sweet and milky while remaining both rich and refreshing. I'm not sure how they pull it off, but I'm obsessed! If you prefer a more traditional option, the Strawberry Matcha is a decadent choice, I love that you can actually taste the fresh strawberry compote. We also had the Tres Leches Coffee, which featured a perfect balance of creaminess and bold espresso notes. We ordered it hot this time, and while I personally find it ideal iced, it's wonderful that it works so well both ways. For treats, we chose the Dulce de Leche cake. While the sponge wasn't quite as moist as I expected, the overall flavor was superb, especially with the addition of the meringue. To balance the sweetness with something salty, we added a savory spinach and feta pastry. Definitely ask for it to be heated for the best experience! Not pictured, but equally noteworthy, were the empanadas. They offer both beef and chicken, served with a delicious green cilantro sauce. However, for my friends who just got a cone, they received a big portion at a pretty reasonable price. I'd opt for something simpler next time. The interior is tight, but I love the vibrant pink decor everywhere. It gets a bit busy in here, so there may be a small wait for your ice cream.
