Areas for improvement: The doors to the rooms slammed each time a visitor came or went, this startled me and kept me awake. I also heard a dog barking repeatedly in the room across the hall, also something I don't want to hear. The workouts room was great but another visitor couldn't get the bike to stop beeping & I was unable to get the TV to work. Pros far outweighed the cons and this is an above average Hampton Inn location. Thank you for a nice experience.

Glad I was able to get this one so close to everything! It's very close to Shady Maple Smorgasbord where I had a huge buffet lunch. The hotel was very clean and had a nice cafe on the main floor. I had a mountain view which was a little disappointing after my normal hotel in Dickinson City Scranton area that I'm used to. But the breakfast was awesome and I did get enough sleep to feel rested the next day. They even comped me a deodorant that I had forgot to pack and a bottle of water when asked! It's a little expensive but I thought it was worth it for the trip. What a cool spot and the location was perfect!!

For $330 seemed it was priced high.

They seem to focus on making the lobby a social gathering spot. Rooms are very clean though and the bed is extremely comfortable! The lobby was quite nice. Foosball tables, lots of board games, plenty of places to sit, visit, and work. They have coffee, tea, and hot water on tap 24-7, and their pancake and egg breakfast bar is really awesome. The microwave is located in the lobby too. Walls and floors are a bit on the thin side. I could hear people walking around above me all night long, and walking past other rooms I could clearly hear televisions and conversations. Overall, I'd describe the rooms as very 'minimalist'. If you're wanting a place to relax and get away, this may not be for you. If you're an active person just looking for a place to sleep, grab a decent breakfast, and stow your stuff while you're out all day, this place is great. If you're into socializing with other guests, this place is also great.

She told me where I could get medicine from which was a Turkey gas station across the street. She booked me a room within minutes. The next morning I had breakfasts included in my reservation and they let me complete my work call, even though it was past my check-out time. When I walked down Joanne was talking to a young boy and accompany him. She was so welcoming and caring to all of her customers.

The white house can be used as both a rented residence during wedding weekends and is also home to the bridal suite. The central building consists of the kitchen, bathrooms, and groom's suite. The third building consists of a reception hall, with covered balcony and covered courtyard below. It's not a huge venue, but quite cute, and at a recent wedding, perfectly sized for 100 people. The staff there is excellent, with the manager ever present and reliable and ready to get things organized. Catering staff is not on-site as this is just a venue, but they have a list of recommended providers whom they've previously worked with and know the venue. And this list is updated as they go based on vendor performance. They were also great with kids, accommodating as needed, definitely above and beyond. Overall, the wedding we recently attended at this venue was a success, and the venue did a great job of hosting and accommodating.

If I could give it 0 stars I would…read more This was a hotel stay from hell. For starters, we were traveling due to a death in the family from NC. We drove almost 12 hours and arrived around 11:30 pm. Upon arrival was told there was a $100 deposit that when booked (on Priceline) didn't list this clearly and was a surprise, as we had already booked and payed for the stay. We get to the room and begin trying to settle and the room is absolutely filthy, the hallways reeked of Marijuana, no smoke alarm, there was mold, and cracks in the sink. Spoke to Priceline and they advised going to the front desk and seeing what they could do, which I did. We were told they could only move us for this one night and that the following day we would need to move to yet another room (yes, 3 rooms in 2 days). We get to the 'new' room and it is not much cleaner. We get to bed around 1:00am and the guests staying were incredibly loud, there were trash truck noises, etc. We ended up getting up at 5:30am and per advice from Priceline, we checked out around 6:30am. What followed after was an entire day of myself and Priceline battling to provide me a refund for this stay. The property was unwilling to provide refund, and Priceline said they could refund the rest of the stay (3 nights) but not the first night. I replied that given the fact we were there around 6 hours and left on the conditions we did, that we should not have to pay for any part of the stay. Priceline ended up providing a 20% coupon in addition to the rest of the three night stay refund as the property had to provide authorization for the refund of the first night and absolutely refused. I soooooo would not recommend this place or any other Red Roof facility in the Lancaster area. We have attempted 2/3 Red Roof locations in the area and all of them have residents that disrespect property guidelines and regulations to say the least (loud, smoking, drugs, asking for money, etc.). Ended up going to the Days Inn on Eastbrook Road in Ronks and it was MUCH BETTER!
