Had a beautiful stay with Lancaster Arts. It was my first trip to Lancaster and I'm so happy we picked this hotel. Walking all around town was so easy and simple. Make sure you get a drink downstairs at the bar too!

The Lancaster Arts hotel was a hidden gem. It's wasn't a luxurious hotel by any means, what made our stay special for me was its charm. We left our car in the covered garage and walked into the lobby. We were greeted by a friendly hotel employee who offered us cold water with slices cucumbers. This automatically puts me in a lovely mood. We're told every morning there is free breakfast and check out is at noon. Enjoy your stay. The hotel is deceiving because it's very large. We walked down this beautiful brick hallway to our room. Our room was just the right size for my wife & I. The bathroom shower was a nice size, what was missing was the nice shower products. They gave us a small bar of soap with liquid soaps mounted on the wall. Yuckk.. and one of my towels were ripped? Any hotel where I rest my head, I want all the small details to be special. Ripped towels? Uncool. Putting the bathroom products to the side, the hotel is next to a nice market where they're making fresh doughnuts. Lancaster just oozes charm, this was another nice feature. Breakfast downstairs was nice, they had three different types of cereal as well as breads for toast. There was a automatic pancake maker that I had to figure out. I made a mess, haha! Also, a bunch of Jimmy Dean bagel breakfast sandwiches were available, To heat them I had to use the microwave. Bagels in the microwave really don't work so I ate the middle. Overall, a nice spot to drink a cup of coffee. The arts portion, they encourage hotel guests to draw in sketch books and they are displayed throughout the hotel. Another nice touch, we've seen some beautiful drawings from other guests. Lancaster Arts Hotel, we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you for the hospitality.

OBSESSED with this hotel. One of my favorites I've stayed in lately and one of the best in a city the size of Lancaster. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful brick lining the exterior and interior, fantastic paintings, beautiful carpets, and just overall incredible decor. The service was friendly and helpful. I stayed in the presidential suite which was sooooo nice and huge! It has a full living room with a kitchenette and couches, a giant bedroom, a huge jacuzzi tub, and a very nice bathroom and shower. The bed was comfortable, and the decor was very pretty. I would absolutely recommend anyone coming to Lancaster stay here and only here! I loved it SO much.

An absolutely wonderful time away in Amish Country. My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend in room 506 and it def won't be the last time. My husband had a beautiful basket made and we spent a romantic weekend in this hotel. Despite covid we loved the on-site restaurant and classy touches to make our stay memorable. They also did a great job cleaning and making sure breakfast was safe for all the guests. The room was clean and the amenities were nice. Even the special bath salts for our private jacuzzi were a nice touch. I wouldn't stay here unless it was for this room. Thank you for a memorable stay.

I have stayed here so many times in the past 6 years that I have lost count! You will not find the charm, history & ambiance that this boutique hotel offers in any chain in Lancaster. Plus you have the bonus of a great restaurant/bar on the premises plus free parking in the city! And you can walk to virtually all the great other bars & restaurants downtown. Staff is friendly & on our 5 day visit in November 2021, which we extended by the day, due to a death in the family, the front desk staff were fantastic in accommodating us. The rooms are very cool with original floors, exposed brick, nice bathrooms & comfy beds. Sketch pad & pencil in the room and you're encouraged to leave your artwork behind for display in the hotel. The downside? It's an OLD building, so floor creak, noise travels. If there are rowdy guests or randy guests (you get my drift) you will hear them. Bring ear plugs just in case. Wine fridge in room. Beer Fridge (place next door) has every craft beer you'd ever want. It's a gem & I will continue to stay here when I visit my former hometown.

We chose this Cork Factory Hotel because it seemed different and nice…read more Upon arrival the room smelled of mold to which i have allergies but they did not have have other rooms. We put the air on to mask the smell. I turned down the sheets and the bottom bed sheet it looked slept in. We ate at the restaurant the same evening...food was good. In the morning we asked them to clean the room. They said "okay, just don't hang the sign on door knob and they'll clean it". We got back that evening and the room was not made and still smelled of mold. We brought it to the front desk's attention and they didn't seem to care. The woman at the front desk has no business nor people skills. Since the food at the hotel was good the night before, we went back. The arrogant hostess with a superior attitude would not give us the middle table because she claimed there was 5:30 reservation so she sat us behind the hotel entrance door. We were finished our meal around 6:30ish and yet noone had sat at that middle table. We ordered our food, I had the veal scaloppini over angel hair pasta. It tasted rancid but I convinced myself that it was the overwhelming amount of capers that they put on it. I should have returned it, because of my Italian-born heritage, I have never in my life had homemade pasta with capers that tasted like vinegar. Instead I ate it because I was hungry. BIG MISTAKE! That night I the worst stomach ache and a brutal headache the entire night into the morning. Eventually it got so bad that I THREW IT ALL UP! i'm quite certain the headache was due to my mold allergies and the stomach ache from the bad rancid pasta. The arrogance exhibited by restaurant hostess, front desk manager's indifference and the overall lack of attention to guests was akin to the personality of a prison wardons as seen in some movies. Lack of hospitality skills aside, the bad pasta and the dirty smelly, moldy room my complaint should really be brought to the attention of the Pensylvania BOARD OF HEALTH DEPARTMENT. THIS HOTEL SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. It should return to being a cork factory. They don't clean the rooms, the handicap room where we stayed smelled of mold, sheets were dirty that I had to sleep on top of the top sheet. They did not clean our room even when we requested. The place is a dump! They should have comped our entire stay!! I was too ill to go to check out with my husband when we checked out, but when my husband said that I was physically ill from the moldy smell and the rancid angel hair pasta with disgusting capers they did not offer anything comp or discount on anything. It's a horrible place!!!

PART 1 My family…read morewas on vacation at the Eden Resort in Lancaster, PA to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday. Our stay was cut short just one day after arriving. My 2 daughters enjoyed the pool multiple times from Thursday afternoon until Friday evening with no issues and no concerns. Friday evening 02/06/2026 around 5:35pm while my daughters were swimming with their father. ( I was in the hotel room which is accessed from the pool area) Their father and multiple other guests witnessed the assistant night manager take a photo in the pool area in the direction of my 11 year old daughter. The assistant night manager then left the pool area within seconds of doing so. My children's father called me immediately to come watch over the kids while he went to confront the assistant night manager or to speak to someone if he couldn't find him. I checked my kids, walked to their father and 2 other guests that were speaking about the incident. Stating they without a doubt saw the assistant night manager take a photo with my daughter in it. At this point the assistant night manager enters the pool area again. The girls father and I approached him and asked if he took a photo of our child. He denied taking a photo with my daughter in the picture. His reaction spoke volume he was shaking when approached and tried to walk away. He stated he was "doing his job" and then stepped into a closed area with his phone in his hand. There was a woman in the hot tub next to us who said "I saw everything don't let him delete anything without you seeing!" But that was already my plan! I stepped into the doorway of the area the manager stepped into. I said let's clear this up please show me the photo. After pushing his way out and finally bringing up the photos, I saw my daughter in the photo as he tried to delete them. I grabbed his phone as soon as I saw him trying to delete the photo of my daughter. She was bent over outside of the pool. He tensed up with two fists like he was going to hit me until my girls father got involved. The assistant night manager was shaking even more while my girls father deleted the photos checking his text/emails to make sure they weren't sent to someone.( at this point the asst manager allowed the kids father to have his phone) Everyone in the pool area is still watching. Things got heated verbally. He stated his photos were for work. For safety precautions since there was a tarp/door open in the area. ( there was 2 photos on the asst manager phone from this incident. ONE blurry of the overall area as if taken quickly and the SECOND photo with my daughter in it and the tarp in the background). I called the police. The police interviewed my girls father before interviewing the assistant night manager. They had found a photo with our daughter in his recently deleted section on his android that he told us his android did not have. They also checked his outgoing messages and entire phone to confirm that there was nothing containing our child still on his phone. In between the police being called and speaking with the general manager this man was MIA for at least 10-15 minutes. The GM's response and reaction was beyond disappointing. Along with all staff at the front desk as if we (along with other guests) were wrong for being concerned about this incident which made this more aggravating due to the type of situation. The GM kept a smile on his face and was dismissive, even when the police arrived. He stated that the assist manager did nothing wrong and will have no repercussions. The GM also stated that I was wrong to step into the staff area. (The police reminded him that any parent would have done the same!) I was not combative or threatening. I clearly stated I wanted, NEEDED to see the photo ( what parent wouldn't in this situation? If the asst manager did nothing wrong and had a clear conscience why did the situation go as it did? Why not handle it professionally, show the photo, apologize ect.) After the night manager was questioned by the police, the police determined that there was NO charges that are able to be filed. Staff confirmed that there are protocols and regulations in place for staff to take photos for safety or other reasons. Which would not allow a minor to be photographed. Given the circumstances and how the situation played out we were angry upset and wanted to make our daughters feel safe and comfortable. We left the Eden resort.
