I spent this past weekend staying in Room 704 at The Inn at Kitchen Kettle village. This room is…read morean accessible room even though it's on the second floor. There is an elevator to get upstairs. The bathroom worked fine for me. I have mobility issues and walk with a cane. There are bars in the bathtub, but none around the toilet. There is a bath seat. The shower is amazing actually and the hot water plentiful. One thing to be aware of is that the elevator is small and a bit old. It has gates and all. It only holds two people, so a large wheelchair or heavy mobility scooter might not fit. The room itself is really comfortable and I was happy that the beds are not super high. Breakfast is provided in the Harvest Cafe. There are 4 or 5 choices. If you stay over on a Saturday night you get a shopping coupon to use in the Village since for Sunday since the Village is closed on Sunday. The customer service at The Inn (and the Village too) is amazing. Everyone we met went above and beyond to be helpful. Since the Village is closed in the evening and on Sunday, you can be sure that it will be quiet. I'll be back there for sure!

I expected to smell the light scent of bleach on the sheets and a cozy feeling bed. Instead it was musty and rough. Our family made the best of our stay here. The staff were so nice. The pool area barely had any clean towels the whole weekend we were there. The pool itself was cloudy. I don't know what happened but I hope they can turn things around. A crushed cracker on the floor of our elevator was still there three days later when we left. There was no coffee nor were there coffee cups in the room and we had to call. Our corkscrew was broken and we had ordered a charcuterie board and wine. These things and a few other issues with billing kept it from being outstanding. We complained,. I could even forgive the out dated style and yellow wall paints if it wasn't for one thing. Omg. Omg. The music, the music. For some reason we could hear loud music in our bedroom/hotel room the whole time but from around 12 am - 8 am. We heard it when we checked in and the next morning, while my husband was still asleep. When I say loud, I mean we could understand every word in every song that played. I am assuming it was the music from the restaurant, but after paying over $270 per night it is something I would not expect to happened.
